- This is one of our favorite reptile shows in the country, and it's one of the largest around! The NARBC (aka "Tinley Reptile Show") draws in people from all around the United States to share a passion for reptiles. Watch to see what was there, and what we came home with!
Music by BenSound and RUclips creator studio library.
That little girl was the highlight of the show. I love seeing kids excited about reptiles.
absolutly!
When I saw for the first time a tarantula (as a little child) I was like: MOMMY LOOK! She is sooo fuzzy!!! Same me on the same day saw also a spezies of toad and I was like: OHHH he is looking like a pancake!
Seeing the little girl's excitement was adorable. In South Africa, the breeders sometimes give their normal ball pythons to kids (with consenting adults of course) just to kind of create awareness of how amazing they can be. Anyway, they give one to this little girl (around 5 years old) and to see the smile on her face just made my day
PandaFluff yeah, I used to own a large male who was just the sweetest
I just hope the parents oversee everything. Kids are notorious for neglecting animals and I always cringe when I see such a young kid bringing home pets.
@@dbros2656 It's parents fault. You can't blame a kid with less then 11 years old for neglecting a pet, they just don't see it as a live animal, they see it as a toy and they don't really need to have any responsability for their acts before 11 years old, so if they are neglecting their pets that's be cause the parents don't really care about the pets. That's parents fault.
Edit: Sorry for my bad english i'm brazilian
Thank you im that girl
I was seven
EMILY IS SO GOOD WITH KIDS ITS ACTUALLY ADORABLE OMG
I always forget her job means she kinda has to be good with them. Its great to see her get excited with kids.
I’d love to see them have a kid 🥺 but also they’re super busy & probably get enough enjoyment out of what they do
Omg the little girl was SOOO cute! Her excitement was adorable! It's great to see such young kids getting so excited over reptiles. Amazing video!

How cute is the little girl lol you should of been like "good job dad" 👍😂 lol
I love that Fear Not Tarantulas lady
"feeding is draaaaamaaaaa" lmao
That lady is my ant
The little girl was literally the most wholesome thing I've ever seen

That’s the calmest, most docile/nice green tree python I’ve seen (she’s a cutie🐍)
Right. it's a rarity to handle them and not get popped at least once... Awesome and a beautiful snake
The little girl with the snakes and gecos was so cute!
thank you sm! Emily was so nice
OH MY GOD!!! Those hognoses are the coolest looking snakes I've ever seen! I can't wait to see the babies. Would you consider selling one of the babies if all goes well?
Definitely!
Sure wjy not
Wow, thanks for taking me to the reptile expo. What fun to see everything. I love it when you open your freebie things. Even though I myself are not a reptile person, you have helped me understand snakes better.
I don’t own any reptiles, and probably never will. But I love your videos I find them so interesting :)
Dose f8sh count cuz i have fish
Looks like you had a good show. That GTP is an awesome pickup! It was great meeting you in person. :)

awh thank you but we don't talk about how old i was in that
Only reason i hate going to shows is because i always see something I want.
I _REALLY_ want to go to one soon just to squeal over all of them and hold them, but at the same time I'm like "I CAN'T BUY EVERYONE AND THIS MAKES ME SADDD"
I want a gecko so bad I just need 20 more dollars
@@sophiedavies8458
What type of gecko
The green tree python is so beautiful 😍
Can we talk about how adorable Ed was in the first clip
Holy cow this video actually starts with Ed on screen 😱😱😱😱
Ikr! The very rare sighting of a wild Ed!

He's slowly getting more and more comfortable with being on camera, especially in the last year or so
AWW THE LITTLE GIRL WAS SO CUTE MY HEART
Seems like you guys had a blast. I’m going to a reptile expo later this month, and I’m so excited! :D
That first snake you brought home is beautiful!

Jes Gar im sure blue tongued and just skinks in general are gonna blow up here in the next couple years
When I lived in Virginia, one of those lived in our gutter. We named him house lizard.
I love leachies! I have had a leachie for over 7 years and she is such a sweet, cute little gecko😊
I only got to see the back of your head early on Saturday!!!! I was so looking forward to seeing you. As always a great video! I love that you focus on the different stuff. :) We got a Tiger Salamander (well, they were sold as a Texas Barred Salamander). Thanks to you. :D Hope to see you in October!
Where is the reptile expo that you went to?

thanksss
OMG, please make a video about the new Hognose Snakes... I love Hognose Snakes! :-D
I liked watching this. Most reptile shows, people only seem to want to show Ball Pythons & Geckos which don't interest me. I like Colubrids.
I live in Australia and had seen some black headed pythons in a reptile shop. Glad to know they aren’t importing then illegally now!
Wow look at all those people waiting to get in!
Such a coincidence that you got the Madagascar Giant Hognose! I just found out about them in the last few days and have been fascinated by them. I look forward to hopefully seeing a dedicated video on them in the future!
Yes I've been waiting for this I'm so glad you got some cool snakes! My corn snake (now named calcifer) has eaten for us twice but he eats his pinkies butt first. Even if he grabs it by the head, he drops it then goes for the butt.
darkdragoneclipse he’s a man of good taste obviously
Calcifer? Like from Howl’s Moving Castle?

Hey Snake Discovery, video suggestion: can you give us a quick glimpse at the amount of tanks/hides/bowls/tubs that you have stored for the new snakes you bring home?
Also, were the madigascar hognoses not included in the 2018 reptile room tours?
Black headed pythons are one of my favorite snakes!
That little girl was adorable.
Already a reptile lover. 😊
Congrats on your awesome finds!
I’ve never seen that kind of hognose. Can’t wait to see them out of the package. They look beefy!
The girl was so cute.she always says “like” before something
Ed is so cuteee! His blushy cheekies 😆
Loved the video. Gets me excited for the Repticon at the end of the month.
very nice ty for sharing little girl was super adorable
The milkshake, green tree python and the 3 giant hognoses were absolutely amazing. I love snakes!
I can’t believe this! I was there at the same time as you without knowing and missed you!
Me: sees the madagascar giant hognoses
Also me, knowing that it took like 8 months to get them to eat:
Oh... Oh Emily... XD
Great video! Love these trips to conferences even if I can't attend!
Makes me want to go to one
Giant hognoses are definitely on my wish list so I look forward to seeing your videos with them! :D

The green tree Pythons you get at tinely are always my favorite this year and last soooo beautiful and calm
gorgeous animals!! You need to get a beardie for them big horn worms lol
0:40 those speckled sided tri colors were intense, never seen them with that type of color and contrast before. you should totally get a few
I might go to Tinley this year and I am so excited, this video was fun just to see what it is like. (I also watched your most recent Tinley vid :))
I’m hoping they’ll have one this October! I’d love to go to it!
That little girl is so adorable
what snake was that at the auction that sold for $400?
ChroniclesofAB Snakes can be exspensive sometimes, probably some type of boa or python.
@@fishcareforbeginners9781 $400 is not expensive, i've bought some for $3000, i was just curious about the species
Me and my mom are getting VIP tickets for the October tinley for the whole weekend, I can't wait!
That green tree python is so cool!😍
Omg I’m so late lol I was doing hw!Love ur videos and ur reptile friends!
I love snakes and lizards but mostly snakes! I kind of want to get into reptiles again and tarantulas but you know ya need money. 😂😂 Deciding on getting a starter snake but don't know which, theirs so many to choose from! I love your videos it just make me want to get one more!
LOVE the green tree python! Shes beautiful and has great coloration! I noticed her tail and wondered if shes a species of snake that uses their tail as a lure?
I miss being able to go to reptile shows. I mean I was always too poor to buy anything but I still loved looking at animals.
I think it's so cool being able to walk around and see all the different critters but at the same time it makes me sad because I can only imagine how stressful it is for them. 😕
Could you do a video talking about radiant heat panels? I don't know much about them and I plan on custom building a cage for my blood python in the summer and I want to learn more about all the heating types.
Awesome video! I recently started watched your videos and I love all the variety here. I do have a few questions, I'm planning on getting a Fat Tailed gecko in a while and I want to prepare in advance.
-what brands of substrates are the best for baby and adult geckos?
-how do I measure humidity in my tank?
-is it better to have a heat mat or a lamp?
-what do I do to install a hydrometer and thermometer/thermostat for temp. measurements
-recommended bugs and food?
-how do I set up seperate hides and humidity box?
That's all I have thinked up of for now, but since this is my first lizard are there any pointers or tips you have for raising one?
Aww that kid was adorable
I freaked when I saw you there. I couldnt believe it was you. So I was too shy to go say hi. I got a tiger legged running tree frog!
That little girl was adorable 🤗
Little girl is adorable awe
Also really excited for those Madagascar Hogs!!!!
Hearing wild caught just makes me sad. Theyll have great lives with you though
That little girl was so cute!!!
thanks!
Awesome pic ups
My cb GMH is great, he eats anything I've given him, trout, salmon, rats, mice, quail, frog legs, reptilinks, probably a pb&j if I tried. He's quite quick for a fatty. I notice he enjoys uv and will come out and hang out under it. He tends to lift his head up to look around and watch me with those big eyes. Anyway, your channel is great thanks for the entertainment.
Best intro ever ;)
Is it okay to drive with them in those container? I was going to go to an exo that's 7 hours away and I was wondering if I needed to bring a travel kit or if it's okay to use those! Love your videos! 💜💜
“I could say they’re from the same species”🤗too cute
Are you attending again this year?
Oo an albino nelson's milk snake! I saw one on my birthday trip to the local reptile zoo last week and they are so beautiful! I think that's the morph I'd get if I got a second snake but right now I don't have the resources for more, so maybe some day :]
Aw man. I was gonna go last year, but things got busy. I really wish I could’ve gone now.
I rlly wanna go to one of those one day!
She had a king snake I'm getting one, I'm so happy for her
Good looking animals beautiful green tree!
i laughing so hard at the headband around the alligators mouth
hey this vid was great. Glad to see you got the Hognose snakes you wanted. I remember you telling me about them at the show. Any chance you could further explain what happened with the western hognose breeders? something about not having permits? Hope to see you guys at the October Event. Glad my dorky face got into the vid @3:30.
Westerns require a special permit in order to sell in Illinois, and the vendors didn't realize this until 2 nights before the show so they didn't have time to apply for one. Now that they're aware of the rule, hognoses should be back again in October :)
Can we see a feed my pet Friday with these guys? ❤️❤️❤️
That girl was to wholesome for this world
awwhhh thank you 💞
Man I really want to go
Those black headed pithons are so cool
First! awesome!
i want to go there so bad
So cool!! Also, you look very pretty.
So cool
That little girl was so adorible
thank you!
I made some uuunnndignified sounds while I watched this, usually around SKEEEEEE
Does the snake at 2:20 have a kink in its spine? Just curious after your latest video with the snake abnormalities...
That albino Nelson's looks really nice.
Are you guys coming to the Iowa Reptile Show this weekend?
Reptile Superstore! (And some arachnids) I've handled tarantulas and I learned two things. They feel like eight legged kittens (sorta), and they tend to go *up*. If you do not want a tarantula on your head, hold the critter higher than your shoulder.
You are much braver than I am. Ima gonna take a hard pass on any spider.
This makes me miss all my babies, I want my reptile room back
I just noticed the reptile rescue's manager I volunteer at sitting right in front of you during the silent action! As well as a friend of mine from the rescue. What are the odds! At 4:00, he's wearing the green collar shirt and is balding 😜. Herps Alive Foundation if anyone wants to check it out!
