This theme perfectly fits mewtwo. It sounds very electronic which is fitting for a pokemon made by humans but intensified to make sure you know you’re fighting a pokemon with strength on par with gods.

I just noticed that the team used to catch Mewtwo is Origin Red's team -Lapras for transportation -Gengar sent out -Articuno seen being defeated -Moltres and Zapdos not sure about -Charizard(That thing mega evolved and got its own theme, awesome)

Post game requirements? You can only catch legendaries in Ultra after unlocking Ultra Space and doing that for ages and entering the right portal. Catch rates haven't changed for most legendaries, only story related ones. Cerulean Cave is child's play by comparison in terms of requirements to reach the legendary and the battle is the same. Quit looking at it with your nostalgia goggles.

I think it's been explained like hundreds of times. The Wormhole takes the player to the timeline where Mewtwo is in Kalos, thus it gets its Kalos theme. For every other legendary, they head to the other timelines where they get their original music. Actually think critically for once in your in your life.
this song is compositional genius... the way it seemlessly blends the modern type of pokemon music with the original music all the way back from red/blue is awesome best song in the whole series imo... and fitting for a pokemon as legendary as mewtwo

Only a few battle themes were memorable, and even the exemplary ones become rather repetitive (ex: Wally's theme and Zinnia's theme, but don't get me wrong, they aren't bad). I do think Gen 7 really recovered from that though, and the OST reminds me a lot about how I felt with Gen 4 and 5's, which are the two gens I think have the best music.
To me, Gen 6's music was lackluster cuz Go Ichinose didn't compose any of it. He left Game Freak after B2W2 to focus on other projects but returned for SM. He composed some of my favorite Gen 7 tracks, including Gladion's theme and the Ultra Beast Battle theme

I think this track goes relatively underappreciated. For me, this IS Mewtwos theme. I love the classic chiptune bits that call back to the original Kanto wild battle theme, all the sci-fi sounding effects fit Mewtwo really well, and when it hits the best part it's saying "you are in for the fight of your life" in a way not many other themes in this series do for me. "Mewtwo is the worlds most powerful Pokemon! Don't you forget it!" That's what this track says to me.

Since gen 6, we haven't had a main series game in the one without, but episode RR the ultra wormhole brought in all the main villains from the universe without megas (Hence the reason they can all have legendaries, even if you caught them, and why Archie and Maxie are not nearly as cool as they looked in OR/AS) of course, being the smart person he is, Giovanni has a mewtwonite, because he came prepared or something idk.
After so many years of having a used copy of UltraSun, I just finished my wormhole legendaries (not including battles that require certain pairs of Pokémon to complete trios since the previous owner didn't have any of the event Pokémon and I don't know anyone who is willing to trade some off) and Mewtwo was my third to last legendary I encountered. I was so excited to hear this theme, and since I never played X/Y, I was even happier to hear the Kanto wild Pokémon theme. After encountering the Legendary Bird Trio and catching them all, I was delighted to hear the theme remixed. I tried False Swiping him and what not during one encounter, spamming Ultra Balls, but Mewtwo eventually fainted my Decidueye and I had to reset to encounter him again... then he was caught with a single Quick Ball. What a silly one 😂

tbh the origins one isn't a mewtwo theme, its a wild battle theme remix which is used in wild battles during origins. This theme has science-y aspects which fits mewtwo more than Kanto As a kanto remix theme? its Meh. As a mewtwo theme? It's perfect.
I’d found Mewtwo by complete accident. I was playing Ultra Sun and I’d been hunting for legendaries in the Ultra Wormhole when I flew into a level 2 green wormhole. I was ready to just turn around and leave when they said the usual text for when there’s a legendary, something about a powerful presence lurking here. I’d gone farther in when I saw Mewtwo’s silhouette and I was pretty excited as well as surprised. I don’t believe Mewtwo was too hard to catch for me, either. No joke.
Today was a good day. Looking in wormhole for Pokemon, training my Necrozma. Not too far in, green wormhole with double rings appears. "Eh, why not. Might find a Raikou or something." Sees silhouette on rock. "R-raikou?" No. MEWTWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! GO MASTAH BALL I'VE BEEN SAVING FOR THIS VERY MOMENT!!!!!!!!!!

@@razielette2159 Information has been leaked about Pokémon Blue and Yellow and their betas. Game Freak created Mew based on Mewtwo and was created very late in the development of Pokémon. So, most likely, the initial idea was that Mewtwo is what Mew is today. There is a lot of other information in favor but unfortunately it cannot be considered official as Game Freak has not said anything about it. If I remember correctly, this information can be obtained from people like Dr. Lava.

Necrozma at the Victory Road in Ultra was beat up because it didn’t have enough light (no light means no power for it) so I’m pretty sure that’s why it’s catch rate is of a Pidgey’s.

I tried False Swiping him and what not during one encounter, spamming Ultra Balls, but Mewtwo eventually fainted my Decidueye and I had to reset to encounter him again... then he was caught with a single Quick Ball. What a silly one 😂

FUTURE10S somewhat 3D, but I’d say Pokémon White/Black accomplished that very well.
Nah, I consider it 3D as it stopped using sprites for everything. And had a Z coordinate, 3D camera, polygon models, so on.

I remember some people hating on this theme when X and Y came out, arguing that Origins did it better. But I personally think it has its own charm.
tbh the origins one isn't a mewtwo theme, its a wild battle theme remix which is used in wild battles during origins. This theme has science-y aspects which fits mewtwo more than Kanto

I’d found Mewtwo by complete accident. I was playing Ultra Sun and I’d been hunting for legendaries in the Ultra Wormhole when I flew into a level 2 green wormhole. I was ready to just turn around and leave when they said the usual text for when there’s a legendary, something about a powerful presence lurking here. I’d gone farther in when I saw Mewtwo’s silhouette and I was pretty excited as well as surprised. I don’t believe Mewtwo was too hard to catch for me, either. No joke.
The fact this track was never in Super Smash Bros is a federal offense.

In the original idea of first pokemon game mewtwo was mew and mew don't exist but then game freak change this idea.

@@razielette2159 Information has been leaked about Pokémon Blue and Yellow and their betas. Game Freak created Mew based on Mewtwo and was created very late in the development of Pokémon. So, most likely, the initial idea was that Mewtwo is what Mew is today. There is a lot of other information in favor but unfortunately it cannot be considered official as Game Freak has not said anything about it. If I remember correctly, this information can be obtained from people like Dr. Lava.

Necrozma at the Victory Road in Ultra was beat up because it didn’t have enough light (no light means no power for it) so I’m pretty sure that’s why it’s catch rate is of a Pidgey’s.
Fact: it actually has the same catch rate as a frigin caterpie, despite oh I don't know BEING A LEGENDARY
