So to wrap up, it DOESN'T MATTER what he's called--Green, Blue, whatever. Origins is what the pokemon anime shouldve turned into. Physical pokemon attacks like bite, scratch, etc. were actually physical and not just some magic attack used from a distance, even the pokemon seemed more wild and animal-like
Ehh, keep it like the start of the series. Some Pokemon were more animal like than others. Physical attacks were still very physical (and didn't involve random explosions) while still allowing for a lot of lighthearted comedy, and serious moments. Origins took itself very seriously and likely wouldn't have as much lasting appeal.
hasn't it felt like pokemon has gotten lukewarm or safe in recent times? I remember watching the Mewtwo movie way back when thought how messed up his story was, even in the games. His existence establish the tone of pokemon, that despite all the cool battles and childish games, there's a really twisted dark side to it all.
IMO, the 3 top things that could happen to pokemon, 1. Gen 2 remake 2. Make a sequel to pokemon origins for gen 2. 3. Let us see those super super epic fights Red most likely had with other gym leaders and trainers. At least more trainers and a couple more gym leader fight scenes. Though doing these things might force game freak to move on with the generations and actually yet hard again to make great games and not be lazy with the remakes or make a game that suspiciously was super easy and fast and few months later reveal a remake.... For this to happen i believe it'll take them years to do. I mean forget the people who buy your stuff and enjoy it your product. You could always be selfish and continue making games for profit only.

If they ever remake gen 1 again, which is more than likely in 3-4 years, game freak needs to make this the wild battle theme. Origins is what the pokemon anime shouldve turned into. Physical pokemon attacks like bite, scratch, etc. were actually physical and not just some magic attack used from a distance, even the pokemon seemed more wild and animal-like
Ehh, keep it like the start of the series. Some Pokemon were more animal like than others. Physical attacks were still very physical (and didn't involve random explosions) while still allowing for a lot of lighthearted comedy, and serious moments.
Origins took itself very seriously and likely wouldn't have as much lasting appeal.
I love how the Kanto wild battle theme is used for Mewtwo and even the Kantonian legendary birds

hasn't it felt like pokemon has gotten lukewarm or safe in recent times? I remember watching the Mewtwo movie way back when thought how messed up his story was, even in the games. His existence establish the tone of pokemon, that despite all the cool battles and childish games, there's a really twisted dark side to it all.
Chilling battle theme, especially the guitar solo.
This music just encourages these words:
"Am-am I fucked? Please don't- OH SHIT! Yea! I'm fucked! I'm severely fucked!"

IMO, the 3 top things that could happen to pokemon,
1. Gen 2 remake
2. Make a sequel to pokemon origins for gen 2.
3. Let us see those super super epic fights Red most likely had with other gym leaders and trainers. At least more trainers and a couple more gym leader fight scenes.
Though doing these things might force game freak to move on with the generations and actually yet hard again to make great games and not be lazy with the remakes or make a game that suspiciously was super easy and fast and few months later reveal a remake....
For this to happen i believe it'll take them years to do. I mean forget the people who buy your stuff and enjoy it your product. You could always be selfish and continue making games for profit only.

If they ever remake gen 1 again, which is more than likely in 3-4 years, game freak needs to make this the wild battle theme. This is so much more lively and and epic than the original gameboy one ever was. This makes me amped up to fight wild pokemon, not be like UGH! Another one? and just run away.
