@@TS-zp7pe in one way or another, the tides affect all sorts of fishing, including the reefs. When re-Fishing I find it best to be at the steepest part of the tide when water is rushing fastest. Those are the best times to let out a chum bag and get a good slick going. It is the most effective way to bring yellowtail, mango, snapper, and other fish out from the bottom and up to the surface.

The older fs12t honestly is not worth it. Go for the newest one at bass pro and you can stand up on those
