just wanted to know if a 32 day extension during internship will make my internsip unacceptable for GMC registrarion
the website says you must not be absent for more than 20 days- this is in addition to an annual leave of upto 5 weeks
In these types of cases, it is ultimately up to GMC's discretion. You may be asked to provide certain documents to explain your situation which they will then review.

It's difficult to give an exact answer as to what Brexit means for the future if the NHS, but from an IMG standpoint, if EU/EEA doctors are less likely to stay post-Brexit, chances and opportunities for non EU/EEA doctors will increase. GMC seems to be preparing for this likelihood by having increased exam centers for PLAB.

2. Please does it matter whether one did internship post or pre graduation from med. School?... Are they both acceptable by the GMC as long as it fulfils the rule for an acceptable internship?

Is it true that if we show taking up prep course might lead to visa denial for PLAB 2 and also PLAB 1 ? I'm planning to take both exam in UK on PLAB visa but heard from a friend that it is very difficult to obtain a VISA like if I get visa for PLAB 1 there are chances to get a refusal for 2 . I don't think so it should be the case if I have all the required document and present proper finances , Please clear the air madam . I'm already a year past my Med school and preparing for MLE .

Just normal IELTS is sufficient if you've scored above 4 in all modules of UKVI.

Doctors are currently listed as shortage occupancy, but you can always see yourself on the NHS jobs website.

PLAB 1 takes place outside of the UK, but up until now PLAB 2 is only taken in the UK.

I am from Pakistan and i am supposed to graduate at December 28 From China but due to Covid-19 our Degree will be sent to us by Currier, so do you have any idea that will it be accepted or not as there be No Entry/Exit in my passport?

If someone fails in plab 2 then do they have to appear for plab 1 again or they just need to appear plab 2 ?
Just PLAB 2 so long as their PLAB 1 stays valid. Both PLABs have a 2 year validity.

according to you which one is best IELTS or OET?
Both exams have their merits, but I'd suggest taking IELTS for UKVI first as it can be used for PLAB, GMC registration, and the TIER 2 (work) visa. Please also see: roadtouk.com/english-proficiency-for-plab-gmc-tier-2-visa/

I have already done my one year internship in India and currently I’m doing my two years housemanship in Malaysia.
Can I sit for PLAB 2 two months before I complete my housemanship or can I only take it after. I know it’ll be better to take PLAB 2 after completing 2 years of housemanship but does it apply in my case when I’ve already done internship for a year in India?
How is this housemanship different than the internship you did in India?
Road to UK well, the one in India is 1 year and the one in Malaysia is 2.
It was compulsory for me to do my internship in India post graduation. I chose to do work in both places for the experience of managing patients in completely different set ups.
Also 2 year housemanship in Malaysia is compulsory for all Doctors planning to work in Malaysia.
Also the one year internship I did in India was in a private hospital set up.
The 2 year one I’m currently doing is in a government set up.
I would assume GMC would take your original internship under consideration and thereby your taking PLAB during this hosuemanship would not be considered a gap in your internship, but it may be best to ask GMC to confirm.

Only 3 months defecit of surgery internship would it entitle me for going to the whole processs of ukfpo or i can arrange 3 months surgical intership in any teaching hosp now after 16 yrs
