Sergi checked out the AeroHT, a luxury two-person eVTOL they hope will take to the skies very soon.

Only in China. Being a westerner, to me there seems to be two "Chinas" in the world: one is the real China, full of vitality and constantly progressing despite various obstacles; the other is the "virtual China" in the Western media, always portrayed as a failure, a loser, plagued by crises, and on the verge of collapse. The flying Xpeng car is an example of the real China.
This "virtual China", is partly created by CIA's covert operation authorized by Trump which is still in action under current Biden administration, according to a Reuters report today (Mar. 14 2024).

You're right, when Xpeng becomes available tens of millions of Chinese people will be flying in these flying cars to flee China and come to USA as refugees, because China is too poor and undeveloped. 😂
This is just amazing. Love that the cockpit was designed with functionality in mind whilst still being incredibly futuristic. Can't wait to see what this looks like by 2030.

There's been a lot of concept flyers that were all "about to hit the market", before. This one may give Xpeng some credibility to enter the regular car market, worldwide.

Air Taxi is already flying between Shenzhen and Zhuhai, fully autonomous.

You drive it to an airfield, take off, land at the destination airfield, and drive away. There will be no taking off or landing on roads

That 6x6 with helicopter out the back has pre-orders starting late this year and deliveries in 2025. Why get a cybertruck when you can get one with 2 extra wheels and a helicopter that comes out the back for 40k more?

That modular truck flying car thing would be good for researchers. They can drive to the area and then fly to the research spot. It's really going to come down to battery life as to how useful it will be.

More efficient design is to separate cabin from chassis, so that only the cabin flies and connect to a different chassis at destination. This will at least double or triple the range.
