American to face judge for bringing ammo to Turks and Caicos

If America had a 12 yr min for illegal possession, you'd see less people illegally carrying.
How do you miss 20 ROUNDS of ammunition when you are packing. That is 3 - 5 lbs. Another concern, how did US TSA miss this?
Why are responsible gun owners forgetting where they store their ammo?
Say no to bullets
stupid to not have cleaned out the luggage before packing for a trip outside the USA. "I forgot" and "It's not my ammo" is not a get out of jail free card.
These guys need to stop acting like victims
He needs to be jailed
You gotta wonder how secure they keep their firearms if they have 5 pounds of bullets lying around they forgot about.
Oh, I know what happened. The Rust movie armorer planted the bullets in the bags.
I abhor mandatory minimum sentences. Really unnecessary. Also, it’s their fault. Know the law, and know what you’re carrying. It’s not hard
Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time or I feel like this is the “law enforcement” crowd but when it happens to them, it’s a different story
How did he get through US custom check points.
Strange, isn't it?
2 unrelated men just happened to have ammo in luggage 🤔
Were they set up? Was their trip nefarious, and not just a family vacation? Can't figure this one out.
@@lanngunn6512no they said it was theirs he said it was his deer ammunition
@@Miya-kj5bubut there's no deer 🦌 there
Exactly, I was thinking this same thing...how did our airport security not find this, this would have helped him avoid(although US impose a fine, or some punishment) but what PA airport missed seeing this? PIT, Harrisburg, PHL?
do we know if this was checked luggage or carry on?
Lock him up. How do you accidentally bring 20 rounds into a country where it is explicitly prohibited? Why use your gun bags as travel bags? Seems like he did it intentionally.
Wait. It's not just one man. It's 2 unrelated incidences. Coincidence that these wealthy American men both have ammunition? There's more at play here, I think.
For what possible reason?
@@spankyssurprise1361 for taking ammunition into a country where it’s explicitly prohibited.
@@user-su9wy4ke5h But why would he do thatm...you implied it was intentional...why?
@@spankyssurprise1361 to sell? for someone? For himself? Just very suspicious.
Amnesia.
Xanax?
He should get the maximum, and investigated by the US for illegally flying in the US with ammo. This man is plenty $tup!d.
you really think he deserves 12 years in jail for accidentally forgetting about a couple bullets? a hefty fine, sure, but prison time for a family dad?
@ChlckenNugget Imagine how irresponsible it will be when one of his children finds and somehow manages to set off the primer of just one of those bullets so it fires, or leaves it lying around the house where it gets run over by a vaccuum and accidentally fires!
If he's that irresponsible with his ammo he's almost assuredly irresponsible with his guns too. Plus it wasn't just a couple bullets. He had 20 rounds in his vacation luggage. Who carries ammo around in regular luggage that they also use for vacations?!
@@ChlckenNugget if he doesn't know he's carrying guns in his bag, he's not a responsible gun owner. Can't trust him if he is so careless with them that he forgets he has them with him
@@hectorbelmonte2988 he didn't even have a gun, he had ammunition.. and does being irresponsible in and of itself mean you deserve prison time?
@@krystalMtn for starters you must know nothing about ammunition if you're worried about a bullet going off by itself. even an adult intentionally trying to set it off would find it nearly impossible. and even if it did, without being in a barrel, the bullet wouldn't even go anywhere. there'd be no damage.
and if its irresponsible, fine him or something. but leaving some bullets out should never equal YEARS in prison and away from your family. what kind of dystopian authoritarian system do you want to live in?
So TSA X-ray didn't notice the ammo. U musta had that canceled pretty goog Sir....
Its suspiciuos. Two Americans now. Makes you wonder if it was an accident
Most people bring swimming trunks and sun tan lotion😂😂😂😂
Whats ammo?
Why does one need to hunt in the first place. Can't find another hobby that doesn't require bullets?
Why would you ever have ammo in luggage? Does he take his Samsonite to back woods hunting trips?
Ask him why he will check his luggage from now on: "Washington state senator arrested in Hong Kong unknowingly had gun in carry-on, he says". Ignorance and arrogance (+ pid) --> a fatal combination.
More likely than not these 5 individuals are from states with somewhat relaxed gun laws which can lead to carelessness by some, in handling firearms...no one is above the law.
No black person feels sorry for him. After what y'all said about Britney Griner? Its hard to feel compassion and empathy given the current political and social situation. Saving my energy for the less privleged people of color.
Actually I do, Turks and Caicos is really blowing this out of hand, trust me one call from Kamala could clear this right up.
And yet, the US negotiated for her release and gave up an convicted international arms dealer to secure her release. Unfortunately for these dudes, they're not a Black WNBA player.
Well, there will be more little deer's runing "FREE"🦌🦌🦌
Thoughts and prayers.
Both useless.
If these guys were like, yeah, I did it my bad I think they would get more support from the public, but they are just to their shoulders and be like I don’t know how we got in there must’ve just grew legs and walked into my bag and that’s not a good look
Just another foreign liberal location
Are there any red blooded Americans with speed boats that can come down to TCI and rescue their fellow countrymen?
Would you say the same about Mexican citizens who do illegal things in USA? You would want someone to come and "rescue" them from American jails/prosecution? Seriously asking
Like I said it again play stupid games when stupid prizes you should check the country room before you go and this is what happens when you vote for Trump
So what happened with that guy griner?
Exactly
Boycott TCI
💯
Why? Thousands of law abiding Americans prefer to enjoy a beautiful country.
No. Boycott Trump
