Your wave sailing skills are better than mine, although thats not saying much. The board concept is great. Are they using torx headed screws now? Much better than cross heade/pozzy drive. Exocet have been making their Cross for many years and the JP looks a similar shape. A longer planing flat & slightly wider tail than FSW to keep planing through the gybe and easier to start planing. I use my 94l Cross with a 6.5m 2 cam down to 4.5m wave sail, although with the 4.5m the board is too fast on the open sea, but good for harbour sailing. Dimensions for the 2016 single fin: 94l, 60.5cm wide, 239cm long , ofo 39.3cm planing flat 84cm, no tail kick, nose rocker 25cm to help get over white water.
If you are not a wave shredder you should go single fin and 4 footstraps. so much better. I think that wisdom has never changed. I do not understand, why the "industry" was going a different way and I think it is the right direction that for the "normal" customer this multi fin craziness will end. (I hope)
The way it planes and stands in the water, reminds me of the 2004 jp freestyle board. Great speed, great jibing, not meant for waves but the manoeuvrability let's you push it up to mast high waves. No complaints about your wave riding skills 😉
Supernice again! Would also love to see You on a Freewave Board, like many "normal" guys use on Baltic Sea/North Sea (and maybe some advice on how to better jibe/tack on those boards).
👍 Thank you for informing me that you were pleased with my previous compliments about the Windsurfing actions which I watched, and I was pleased to receive your reply. I've been a Windsurfing fan since I primarily learnt the sport and will never become bored to watch any actions and of course practice/perform them myself whenever possible.
Ah, I remember it well. Windy day gets interrupted with a rain delay. It's sometimes the case that wind accelerates just before the rain arrives and drops off once it gets there. Think it's to do with weather systems meeting, also downdrafts at the front of a weather system. Looked like you got some nice airtime in there before it dropped off too much. And nice work on the editing!!
Love your vidéos. Crazy how you remind me of a german friend I had in the 80’s: Markus Lorscheidt, who at the time was one of the top windsurfers in his country. Keep on sharing your vids ! Great Work !
Hey Nico, nice video again and great to see you in waves performing like this. I'm also interested in your test of the Magic move. I use the FSW 94 as the one Board for everything (Foil, Freerace and Bump and Jump). And for me from its approach the Magic move would make more sence. Maybe this ist a reasonable marketing step from JP. The FSW Changes more and more from a bump and jump Board with good performance to a kind of onshore waveboard. But there are still a lot of fans buying this board. Now there will be Magic move for us who don't do real waveriding. But that means JP will have two boards and the ones buying a Magic move won't buy a FSW anymore. But it makes sence, especiall for us customers. Jochen
There is a chance that u will switch from windsuring to wingfoiling? Even if u do not switch u can still go with the wing and I thing many would like to see what u can do with it
How did it feel with the back footstraps so close together? In this setup you can’t curl your toes up because the strap on the leeward side prevents to do so. Did you feel comfortable while jumping with this setup?
And another great video Nico and Lars. Do you have any tips when it comes to sailing with an FSW board, especially on a lake? What should you pay attention to in terms of fin setup and length vs sail size. Is this different when you sail at sea?
I remember when I was still racing going out and sailing in the fall with a hat on because it was... snowing... For some reason now that I'm a bit older I don't enjoy the cold weather just as much :P
Nico, what's the best way to attach stickers (numbers, etc.) on the sail and why? While it's fully rigged, half-rigged or completely unrigged? Thanks in advance!
Thanks for another great destination, initial impression review video. Beautiful area, real waves, wind. Add sun and another 5C. Heaven. Riding a now ancient v1 RRD Firemove 100L. Maybe similar ride to the Magic Move. Smooth, relaxing, auto jibing. Issue is it's my light air board at 60kg body mass. End up riding a FSW or pure wave board in moderate to strong winds due to lack of body mass. Any chance JP will be adding a 84-90L Magic Move?
many years ago I broke my knee with a tiga wave, in hindsight I think it was because of the double strap in the back. The straps were close to each other so I could not lock my foot in by lifting my toes i.e. lifting toes was not possible due to the close second strap so I fell out the rear strap when jumping and landed hard with my front foot in the strap only hooked in which resulted in a total desaster for my front knee (ligaments apart). Could that be an issue with that new board?
Great video Nico, gooood music and super footage, awesome wave performance displayed sir Question would be …. When can we see next years pryde sails, since the board is 2024. Looks good btw, nice colors and fun to ride Cheers Bert
The Magic Move reminds me of the earlier versions of Magic Ride (2015) I still keep the 111l version 😊which remains my all time favorite due to the ease of use and wind range it can cover.
Nico, how about a basic how to wave windsurf video for us freeriders? I have seen nothing on youtube about the basics: safety in big waves, traffic rules, difference in equipment, harness use, etc... that would be nice.
Hey Nico, if you do another wave sailing video would it be possible to include how you recover after bailing in the surf? (From a new windsurfer who’s terrified of gear breaking in the surf haha)
and Atlas 5.8 with new board - I thing - it feels like 5.7 speedster - I had in Alacati - of course Atlas is better for waves of Hanstholm - bottom part of the sail ...
I guess this would be equivalent of RRD fireMove 100L ( carbon) they will do the same job, my wife has one as a big board so you can imagine how petitte she is, but I have used it in similar conditions as you have shown when my small board was out of action, I look forward to trying one in one of the Centers next year
I have a firemove and ride on a lake with lots of chop and in my opinion it is too sensitive to the chop. Nico says the NP is good in chop so I'm guessing NP board is a bit different. I am also excited to try it out!
Interesting "new" board in JP's range. Too bad it doesn't go lower than 90L for lightweight riders. Allready have a Super Ride 92 which I love, but a smaller board when the spot gets dirty could be cool. There use to be FSW in the 78L but with one strap on the rear, I am looking for a more "slalom" small board, but easy when the spot is an landmine.
VG
OH it's the board you did a frontloop on flat water yesterday :D
Shoutout to Lars, nice editing!!!
What do you think of the board concept (and my wave skills 😅)?

Your loops are looking so good, I'm quite impressed!
Ganz okay, beides
The way it planes and stands in the water, reminds me of the 2004 jp freestyle board. Great speed, great jibing, not meant for waves but the manoeuvrability let's you push it up to mast high waves. No complaints about your wave riding skills 😉
I feel like I’m your sponsor now!
You sponsor me with surfcenter, I sponsor back with JV69
What a love ❤️
Haha ❤️ JV69
Supernice again! Would also love to see You on a Freewave Board, like many "normal" guys use on Baltic Sea/North Sea (and maybe some advice on how to better jibe/tack on those boards).
hey nico, you have been my idol for 4 years and i love ur vids, keep uploading!
Oh, I think I caught a video of you there this saturday doing a beautiful backloop. This video was a joy to watch. Beautifully editted ☺
Such a great visual, satisfying to watch! Cheers!
JP-Australia is no longer with JP, maybe time to change the brand name to NP-Holstein 😆😂🤣 BTW very nice video edit (cool edit Lars)
Good to hear its healing and nice to see some wave action aswell!
Great video! Good board concept for the majority of hobby surfers! Get well soon. Cheers from Bavaria!

Your videos are a masterpiece!! Great content and you're doing massive advice for our amazing sport!!
Thank you, Nico. Nice to discover a new board!
Awesome video as always. Way to go Nico!
Many thanks for this nice Video..nice to see, you use the same NP base system👍
Love your vidéos.
Crazy how you remind me of a german friend I had in the 80’s: Markus Lorscheidt, who at the time was one of the top windsurfers in his country.
Keep on sharing your vids ! Great Work !
Nico, I thought the JP Magic Ride already did the job for effortless jibes in JP boards range!
gut geschnitten lars
Great Video. As always. Nice nice filming and editing and nice colors on that sundown wave session.
Was für geile Aufnahmen im Sonnenuntergang 👌👌
The return of the JP Allride. Yeah !!! 🙂
Come to the North of Spain (Galicia) and enjoy hard wind and waves.
Hey Nico, nice video again and great to see you in waves performing like this.

Kit looks super slick

Your footstrap screws are torx? Where do I get those? 😮
There is a chance that u will switch from windsuring to wingfoiling? Even if u do not switch u can still go with the wing and I thing many would like to see what u can do with it
That board looked great. Really good shots on it for the video.
Awsome to see that you are so good in every conditions
Dusting off waveboard, telling us "not to laugh", wind keeps dropping... Then proceeds to hit perfect back loops and turns in the waves 😆
😂😂
Not really sure I understand the difference between the 100L Magic Move and a 100L Freeride board
Haha, someone had fun with the wave edits. Hope you enjoyed Denmark - it is expensive for uas well ;)
Dammit NICO!!
I wish this board had been available 25 years ago when I was still sailing and NOT in a wheelchair!!
did you get the foil sorted Nico, as it looked like it always wanted to dive?
Very nice riding. The board looks good. Which sail did you use?
This board is going to save my life😂
Torq screws!! finally. So much better then the X ones.
Your wave skill is just as good as your slalom! Wow!
Great video!! One question: what brand is your harness línes with clamcleat? Thanks
RRD has a similar board shape,is the Powermove
How did it feel with the back footstraps so close together?
In this setup you can’t curl your toes up because the strap on the leeward side prevents to do so. Did you feel comfortable while jumping with this setup?
Great Video. Welcome to Denmark.
How is the upwind performance of this board? Thanks for another great video.
Nice video!

No, because you can also mount one center strap instead.
Great video Nico, gooood music and super footage, awesome wave performance displayed sir
Question would be …. When can we see next years pryde sails, since the board is 2024. Looks good btw, nice colors and fun to ride

Woohoo it's happening, the wave video is here! 🤙
The Magic Move reminds me of the earlier versions of Magic Ride (2015) I still keep the 111l version 😊which remains my all time favorite due to the ease of use and wind range it can cover.
Reminds me of the old F2 Axis. I wonder why?? 🤣

Great wave achievement, great freewave riding, what was the sail for freewave ?
yes I see it, combat 4,2...
and 5.0 latter :-)
and Atlas 5.8 with new board - I thing - it feels like 5.7 speedster - I had in Alacati - of course Atlas is better for waves of Hanstholm - bottom part of the sail ...
when the magic move will be released? isnt on the official site yet!!
Yes, you're good
More than just win surfing!
You put together a good show
I enjoyed the adventure of it
Thanks buddy!!

Till now I was just one time in DK but its such a beautiful landscape I really want to see agian
Good droneshots
Jordy is calling: he want back his hoodie 😂
We need way more wave action
7:30 Drone shot of the year...
Thanks man!
Sounds like the sort of board that'd be good for bump and jump on the bay.
Are you sure you are not a wave sailor too?😮😂
Interesting "new" board in JP's range. Too bad it doesn't go lower than 90L for lightweight riders. There use to be FSW in the 78L but with one strap on the rear, I am looking for a more "slalom" small board, but easy when the spot is an landmine.
BTW, why is JP not part of JP anymore?
Looks like the starboard Atom 100
🤙🤙🤙🤙
I found the thumbnail misleading 😂
well...barefoot... 11 degrees water ?

JV69 on your sweater, hmmm…
