    Yesterday I was at guitar center just trying out different guitars. Like any other day, I wasn’t planning on buying anything because that’s what I do - play nice guitars for free and then go home to my mediocre guitars. And then I saw this guitar (the one in the store was 2021 version. I have no idea what difference that makes) Blue is my favorite color, but this color scheme just blew my mind away. I also love the subtle blue tint/tinge on the bridge and the neck. On top of that, I love how the strings are closer to the neck than what I’m used to. Maybe I never played on a real acoustic guitar, I don’t know, but playing bar chords on this guitar was so was so easy and the tone was really bright. It’s one of those rare moment you fall in love with the guitar as soon as you see/play it. The original listing price was $800, but due to small dents and scratches (so minor, I could live with it) it was marked down to $650 with case included. The guitar was calling my name. I just had to buy it. I loved watching this video. Thank you so much. I feel like it confirms that I bought a nice guitar :-)

      AWESOME! I am so glad you were able to get one! This guitar is well worth the money and even better if you get it at that price! It has this 3 dimension tone that is better felt/heard than explained and I did the exact thing with mine. Saw it, played it, bought it! CONGRATULATIONS!

    I play this at guitar center down the road. I play fingerstyle, lots of soft touches and textures, and this thing performs incredibly. It is so loud and articulate that it really gives presence to the softest of touches. None of this would matter without the right tone, and the tone is great. I have played the maple, and hope to play the hog soon.

    Had the A50E blue matteo for three days now . Can’t believe it’s sounds this great with laminated B&S . Keep on a tone - rite when not playing it. Believe i’am playing it more than the tonerite . To me it’s has a more favorable sound to sing along with than any guitar I own . That is one big compliment. That includes a HD-35 & a 2015 D-18 Plus about 7 more great sounding guitars.

    I was at guitar center the other day and I saw this guitar with the charcoal back and I thought It looked strange/cool so I picked it up and played it and I did not wanna put it down at all it just sounded beautiful to me and now I'm saving up to buy the guitar because I just love it Soo much. I had a epiphone the ones that comes in those player beginner packs and it worked well for years but now I think it's time to upgrade to a better guitar and I've been looking at the taylor 324ce builders edition because it looked amazing and I heard it played and sounded amazing but this guitar right here caught my eyes and ears

I dont know if you play video games but your play style has lots of Life Is Strange vibes (a video game with excellent music, specifically guitar pieces). Awesome playing man! I just put the order it last night on GC, it was in stock and ready to ship and says itll be 3-5 days so im super excited. I was looking at a lot of different guitars before this one, and one really expensive Taylor but this one just has a certain uniqueness that just instantly called me. To my surprise as well apparently it also comes with a nice hard shell case??? Im not sure if thats accurate but I'm excited either way. I almost settled on the natural colored one on a different site, but then saw GC had a blue one, so I had to go with GC.

      Hey Omar! Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I guess if it had a name or category that it falls under would be hybrid cross picking I owe a lot to a guitar player by the name of Tony Rice who done a lot of cross-picking and then developed his own hybrid style. Mine is just an adaptation of his to kind of make it my own. There are phenomenal guitar players that use a flat pick with this hybrid cross-picking style that really play much much better than I and have really perfected it.

    I think you've already heard what the A60 sounds like and maybe even tried it. I'm puzzled and don't know if it's worth overpaying $300 for the ziricote and the (sort of) deeper bass. What can you say about this, is the A60 worth considering? Most likely I will keep this guitar (А50 or A60) for the rest of my life since I'm not playing on stage for myself.

    • @andrew.stephen.ferguson
      @andrew.stephen.ferguson  Год назад +1

      Hey Art 3Dmax! Tone woods are definitely interesting to get into. The ziricote, from what I gather, has the Indian rosewood kind of tone with a darker, deeper sound. If you play fingerstyle this is ok for playing by yourself however if you incorporate a band, I have noticed some of those notes get lost. There's something very unique about that spruce top and maple back and sides that really cut through a mix. I love the tone of the bassier guitars by myself but with other people or even recording it creates a lot of muffled sounds compared to the A50. Just my thoughts though.

      @@andrew.stephen.ferguson Thanks for the reply! I see that I, too, like the bright and dense sound of the A50 a bit more than the sometimes muffled sound of the A60.
