      Dyker Heights would be my favorite because it looks amazing and breathtaking! I prefer to print out tickets just encase it get delete by mistake. You always have great ideas, I wish I could be there to enjoy them! Encase I don't see your next video, I would like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and the best of the New Year!🎄🎄🎁❄❄🎅👍👍⛄☃

    I think it’s so refreshing to hear someone say that they’re unimpressed with the quality or prices of food and drinks. Well done girl for keeping it real!

    Headed to NYC for a couple of days this holiday season. We’ve done it a dozen times or so, and always love it.
    As for ice carvers, my late wife and I saw one, and we were so impressed, we had a swan done for our wedding in Miami. That was 2001. She passed away in 2019, but seeing an ice sculpture always brings me back to the day we said, “I do.”

    As a NYer, the only holiday festivity that I’ve done is see the Rockettes. Even though Christmas is in like 2 weeks, and then the New Year and then the holdups are over….my goal is to see the Rockefeller Christmas tree, Saks and Dyker Heights Lights, go to Bryant Park’s Winter Village, and see the Rockettes again.

    Was just in NYC before the video came out, but consulted your previous Christmas videos and had a great time! We did Bryant Park and Union Square Holiday markets, The Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, and Brooklyn Bus Tour to see Dyker Lights. It was a great weekend trip and didn't feel rushed either! Thank you for all the great recommendations Sarah! ❤️🎄

    R train to 86 street and 4 th avenue in Bay Ridge then take the B1 bus ( Manhattan Beach bound) to 86 street 10 th , 11th or 12 th ave. . Or take the D train to 18 th ave and take the B1 bus ( Bay Ridge) and get off Same as I said before. Enjoy the Liggts.
    Happy Holidays to you and your family.

    I love NY and miss it. I really feel for all these businesses in NYC. Just when they thought things were getting better De Blasio puts out this mandate for children 5 + when a lot of countries don’t even vaccinate that age range. I’ve seen so many families cancel their holiday to NY. Small independent businesses need tourists to keep afloat. I hope Eric changes this when he gets in. Maybe do a video on Things to do with Children in NYC (outside)

    • @tiamarrow6366
      @tiamarrow6366 2 года назад +3

      I mean considering how many children in the city have caught Covid, especially from the first week of school back in September, and have died from it…..wouldn’t you think the smart thing to do would be to protect them from a deadly virus that has killed half of this country? Plus most of those other countries, actually did the right thing when Covid started, implemented mask mandates, and got the vaccines which caused those Covid cases to decline, to which they no longer need stricter mandates. Here in America, we can’t do that….we wanna complain about wearing a damn piece of cloth on our faces, and actually protecting our children from a deadly virus. I mean what’s more traumatizing to a child? Wearing a mask, so that way they won’t die from a deadly virus, or getting shot and killed by a school shooter because parents don’t want to have have safer gun laws? It’s people like you who are prolonging this pandemic even more. We could’ve been out of this a long time ago, but now we’re dealing with Delta and Omicron. We have access to vaccines, they’re quick and easy….but anti-maskers and anti-vaxxers like you, wanna be so ungrateful to our doctors, scientists, and nurses who have to work everyday and night, to get this virus under control, and some of them probably haven’t gotten a decent break in a while, or haven’t seen their families in months, because of people like you. As an actual NYer….I would suggest that you stay away from the state altogether. If you end up catching Covid….I’m gonna laugh so hard. Karma would’ve already gotten you.

    • @Ginge1164
      @Ginge1164 2 года назад +1

      @@tiamarrow6366 I’m actually double vaccinated and already had Covid sorry to disappoint you but I caught the delta variant. Funny how you’re clearly jumping to conclusions as to the type of person I am. You’ve made it really clear who you are though….the type to laugh at someone else’s possible health concerns. I have plenty of family in NYC and know many NYC residents. The majority have the same consensus and both sides agree when it comes to De Blasio.

    08:18 I wouldn't visit a restaurant if I had relatively short time to enjoy my meal just because the place is decorated with colorful Christmas balls/lights. Apart from that, I heard that the food there is just average. Is that true?

      I was there last week. The food/drinks were average and overpriced and we felt rushed during our meal. You’re basically just paying for the ambiance unfortunately - cute decorations but I wouldn’t visit again.

    I’m in NY now and used this guide for our week stay. Luminocity was a total let down and waste of money. This video gives it some false advertising. Also went to Dyker street and Pen hotel. They were mediocre simply because there’s only like one thing nice when you’d expect a greater quantity of amazement.

    Not going to watch. Why would you choose of offend 2,000 Christians but NOT calling it Christmas. To not offend 1 Jewish person or Muslim or whatever? You wouldn't be making this video without Christ being part of Christmas. In our great diverse US, Americans turned the love of Christ into a time of giving. Americans and Europeans saw great opportunities to increase their share of goods and services. By the middle of the 20 century Christmas had become the holiday we know. It was Christians that started the holiday that is called Christmas in the US. But was every American enjoying the time that made Christmas THE holiday. The Christmas you are celebrating was created by Americans that were white, black, tall, short, Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Irish Americans, Mexican Americans, Japanese Americans.
    Taking the Christ out of Christmas is a slap in the face to every American who gave, who relished in the holiday where everyone was a good person.
