I am proud of our Germany for doing its part to ensure our security! Today and in the future we are friends and we will defend everyone with our lives if we have to! I just think it's a shame that there are no parades in Germany, writes to our defense minister and asks him for a parade in Germany, because the German people have to get out of their culture of guilt, because today is the future of tomorrow and the German people can be strong again and together we are all stronger than anyone else who wants to take away our freedom!

That happend during WW2 too. If you look at old german Wochenschau reels (yes it was full of propaganda too) the local population was greeting german troops very friendly. Especially in the baltic countries. Most prefered them over continued soviet occupation.

@@claus-not-santa Das ist deswegen schön, weil das den Zusammenhalt der NATO stärkt und wir die NATO leider brauchen. Diese Präsenz ist gerade vor den Toren Russlands nötig, damit Putin deutlich merkt, daß er mit seinen Großmachtallüren nicht weit kommt und ein Angriff auf NATO-Staaten noch um ein vielfaches dämlicher wäre als sein Überfall auf die Ukraine.

@@johnborisson3786 - Eventually that will be true. However, there are many former Soviet Bloc states that are now NATO members that still have old Soviet/Russian military gear. That's why many of those former Bloc states are donating their old gear to Ukraine as the Ukrainians already know how to operate it. They will replace the old Russian equipment with NATO standard equipment.
This is a very important show of force. The people of Lithuania need more than words to trust and this is certainly something tangible.

Aber echt, das ist mehr als Peinlich. In meiner Heimat (Texas USA) muss man das nicht. Wir übertreiben es etwas in den USA, aber Deutschland sollte hier die Einstellung ändern. Die Jungs bei der Bundeswehr machen einen sehr guten Job, immer wenn sie im Einsatz sind. Sie sind sehr anerkannt und respektiert!

Ist einfach nur unnötiger verbrauch an Sprit und die Straßen sind auch nicht für 60 T Panzer ausgelegt.
Wenn man sowas braucht um sich mit seiner Nation zu identifiziert ist das schon etwas traurig. Unsere Kultur hat mehr zu bieten als ein paar Panzer auffahren zu lassen.
@@shruikan6511natürlich hat sie das. Hier geht’s aber darum das eben diese Kultur sich im Kriegsfall auch mit militärischer Stärke verteidigen können muss. Und unsere Soldaten, die eben dies sicherstellen verdienen Anerkennung und um das zu erreichen müssen sie tatsächlich auch in der Öffentlichkeit zu sehen sein. Man muss jetzt nicht in jeder Stadt jedes Jahr ne riesen Parade abhalten, aber könnten zum Beispiel Tage der offenen Tür anstatt in Kasernen auch beispielsweise auch Marktplätzen oder Parks stattfinden, wo sich ganz normale Leute das ganze auch mal angucken können.

You are not even able to take care of your retired workers as they have to collect empty bottles in street and stand in queue at something special German called Tafel to get some warm food! When I sometimes watch German TV I hear about Alters- und Kinderarmut, workers with low payment, who have even 2-3 jobs to survive and you talk about earning 8 times more in Germany than here? Here where I live people have a guaranteed min. payment of 17,38 €/hour!! Can you explain to me why Germany is missing hundred thousands of workers if all is even better than in paradise? I look forward to your explanations!

The eva Brigade has Pumas.
Die zukünftige, permanente deutsche Kampfbrigade mit 3.500 Mann in Litauen hat dann nur noch PUMA statt MARDER. Der MARDER wird hier ausgewechselt und geht übergangsweise in die drei Divisionen (30.000 Mann) für die schnelle deutsche NATO-Eingreiftruppe.
Herrlich so eine Parade, sollten wir hier auch mal wieder machen. Schade, dass wir nur im Ausland paradieren können. Unsere Soldaten müssen einen zackigen Stechschritt aber erstmal wieder erlernen, bis das wieder wie früher aussieht.

@@PS-pp7kn Every honour guard officer had a sabre and used it to salute. We even brought a few soldiers dressed in medieval GDL infantry armour for an award ceremony. It was alright, just a bit humble. I agree that there should be a lot more glamour, but at least it isn't gone completely

So you can have these parades all you want, but they're not impressing anyone when the poor state of NATO's EU members is understood.

The difference will be that NATO only damages 1 country, we damage every single NATO country beyond recognition inside and outside of the European continent.
Économical, financial and technological potential exists without problems. It's about lazynes and the mentality that in the 21st century no major conflict in Europe can happen. That every dispute should not affect the classic economical way of thinking, that all would lie in diplomacy and compromises. Too much good times may create some soft mentality.
