- Hey guys!
Welcome back, where I look at the prices of groceries and products in Rams Supermarket Grenada!
Currently £1 GBP / $3.42ec and for US it is $1 US / $2.7ec. Please note the currency conversion would have been different at the time this content was filmed, and the prices of groceries may also have increased since too.
Thanks for watching!

This area is a hot spot for university students and wealthy people, so some goods are priced for their pockets.
However, I live in Sauteurs, St. Patrick's and the cost of groceries is astronomical as well.
I sometimes shop at Foodland for meat and Real Value for yoghurt, snacks, and juices.
Whenever I travel to London, I always pack 2 barrels, which helps a lot.
@@ruthmelicharles5062 this is the best thing to do, at least that way you are all stocked up for some months
RAM is mostly for foreign students, not really for locals as we have seen most of their products are from America. Other supermarkets include Foodland, Food Fair, and Real Value.
Why you want to shop there it is not intended for the average person it caters for foreigners with money there is no price control in this country you can't compare it with U K everything is imported even eggs you need to try the local grocery stores ,
You understand! Although you can get some fairly decent priced things at Rams!
Most islands are expensive except Trinidad and the DR.
Yep, especially with how everything is imported onto the islands!
So true 💯💯💯💯
We are living in the last Days soon consumers won't be able to purchase these groceries.
You are right! Prices need to be lowered or salaries increased!
no we are living where everything is imported so what u expect. SMH 😊
@@zerickmason6640 yes we know this!🛒
@@travelwithshak ok
Last days because food expensive? 🙄
So many other places to shop in Grenada that are cheaper options
@@troybraithwaite8510 righto!
RAMS is like the most expensive supermarket in Grenada and every Grenadian knows that honey. We dont shop there.
It is indeed - local supermarkets, and mini marts are a lot better in terms of costs!
Just eat bush yam
😂 can you make it me please?
They need to put a cap on stuffs in Grenada 🇬🇩 £10 for sweat chillie ketchup wtf 🤬
@@MicFletcher1984 crazy right! I’m glad my bbq sauce is affordable🥳
Can u include the rate of exchange (pound sterling to XCD) and the country you are visiting inflation rate when comparing to the uk. Thanks
Yes of course, I will try and put the exchange rates onto the actual video itself next time!
Grenada is too overpriced, poor population who can not afford it
I personally believe it is just priced for the intended buyers i.e tourists, students, and those locals that can acc afford it!
They killing us 😢
Come on ! What happens to shopping and comparing prices, (** going elsewhere?*") Did view and compared prices, and decided no way. Products are mainly imported yes, but other supermarkets cater for all. Besides the distance walking between products, turned me off. Too tiring. No one holds anyone $ hostage, to shop anywhere. By the way, who says students are rich? Stop begrudging others. 😮Stop generalizing! Be real, doing what is best for self? Wrong attitude, change mindset! Please!
@@Margaret-u1x maybe if you watch the next vlog you will see price comparisons, anyway thanks for watching hehe and your engagement😇
We too complain in my country but still our country is cheap Trinidad n Tobago.😂.
Trinidad manufactures Croix biscuits but it's cheaper to buy it in Grenada.😮
@Concerned97 lol imagine that. because they think we are rich here😄😄
