Prerelease is my favourite way to play and the only type of game I play in public stores. I like when new players come to try and spend some time helping them make their decks so they can have a good time because it's the best way to get new players in.
I was going to go to an actual prerelease event for my first time ever and was so excited, but when my gf and I showed up on the day, one of the two organizations that were collaborating on hosting it had fucked up and overbooked the event and taken payment from certain people ahead of time. we managed to get a hold of prerelease packs and did prerelease at home with just the two of us, but damn were we disappointed.
Just started playing magic again after a 25 year "break" Im going to the prerelease event and Im just looking for some fun. This format seems very very fun to play.
Re: the "was the age in the bio before" question; i don't think it matters one way or the other if it was or not. If it was, he missed it, shit happens. If it wasn't and was added later, that's intentionally irresponsible internet use at best (if actually 15), or intentional entrapment and harassment at worst (of an adult lying about their age). The responsibility also lies with the platform depending on what (if any) content warning functions are in place and/ or were used (I've never touched Twitter and I don't know anybody banned X). That's either a failure of the platform to have/enforce content moderation, OR the alleged teenager's fault for disregarding this measures, OR R2's fault for not using those measures (i forget if you mentioned those or not). I dont think it's reasonable to expect people to check the bio info of EVERY random account they interact with. Period.

Please wish us bad luck at prerelease since there are more opponents than us as individual players so it should theoretically increase winrate
