It's not just Hunts that hate Foxes -

- It’s not just hunts that hate foxes. The shooting industry despise them and they’ve been waging a war on them across the country.
Every year thousands of foxes are killed, all to ‘protect’ pheasant, partridges, and grouse until they are shot dead for fun…
Over this coming year we will be working hard to show everyone that no matter what your wildlife interests are - from getting rid of snares and traps to loving foxes or birds - we should all be united in taking down a vile industry that is responsible for so much suffering, cruelty, and death in our countryside.
We’re now close to ending illegal fox hunting for good. Ending the bird shooting industry will be a long hard fight, one that’s really only just beginning, but together we will do it.

Disappointing that people do this and don’t care because “animals aren’t innocent.”, it’s a stupid argument. They don’t operate how humans do. They don’t have any rights or wrongs, they operate on instincts.

As a hunter myself. This is what I try to get across to people about respecting the wild. Often I hear of ranchers slaughtering wolves and coyotes for killing their livestock when most of the time it's stray dogs. Most don't even try to think of a predator deterrence to dissuade them. ....most would slaughter the pups in their dens.
The wolves keep the more than the deer population in check. They keep the other predators in the check. Without them the deer population explodes and with them so do the coyotes. We blame foxes for eating our chickens after we cleared the land and deprived them of food to place our coups.
We are not a sane species.
We a perfectly sane, just not well raised.
Personally I wouldn’t kill any animals I didn’t catch in the act, that’s if I had to kill one at all.
This mindset the ranchers you’re talking have, that’s the problem.
I hate that people first steals wolves terratory and then kils them and their pups bc they ate the livestock bc humans stealed their hunting areas and with out eating the wolves would die to hunger
A hunter that respects the land...very rare.
@@dsgsavcdbgggcgI feel most hunters respect the land as well as the animals they hunt. Of course like everything there are bad hunters as well who only hunt for sport. I hunt rarely but I definitely respect what it is I’m hunting, I mostly spearfish and it is honestly the best thing ever. I guess it’s good that I’ve always loved animals from when I was small.
It’s like this video was dished out to children… no one can spell “territory”, no one is citing sources or giving accurate portrayals or even being honest.
Where are these “ranchers”? What county? Where is the evidence it’s stray dogs? What’s the rate recorded for bovine fauna killed in areas where venison is still present.
We live in a county where they’ve been reintroduced, WOLVES, a far larger and hungrier species than a stray dog. The months that followed the reintroduction was the end of the stray dogs, they were killed.
Ranchers have no reason to go looking for problems when our job is hard as it is. We have trail cams that clearly show wolves getting in, we also get to be actually educated on wolves since we didn’t start losing $18,000 worth every year until the DNR let us know they were reaching a stable growth rate, they don’t want to chase a deer and they won’t if they don’t have to, they’ll just kill baby cows, much bigger, much slower, and without repercussion because I’m evil for existing and not liking it.
So please, some sources of when “most of the time it’s stray dogs” and how “most don’t even try to have predator deterrence” and which “most” would slaughter pups in their dens where they aren’t hurting anyone, since you’re apparently a hunter but forget those of us who do it to protect the way we make a living don’t actually get to run into the woods, we sit on our property and watch them try to get to my calves when we take the shot.
I respect the wild, where it’s still wild. I don’t appreciate folk vilifying ranchers when we are the ones who try our hardest, spend the hours, the earliest mornings, the latest nights and thousands on helping find the solutions so these wolves who haven’t been part of our local ecosystems for almost half a century can find their strength again, while simultaneously us being the ones who lose the most from this AND get treated like we’re Disney villains.
My family doesn’t shoot until we know it’s a wolf and which wolf did it, I’d appreciate it if you don’t go shooting ranchers until you’re concise of it being ranchers and which ones are doing these things

As a hunter I absolutely hate the idea of not only raising animals for the sole purpose of shooting them later, but punishing animals for taking advantage of the abundance of food thrown their way. Punishing an animal for being hungry isn’t right. It is cruel and shows a lack of regard for lives outside of our own. I only hunt for food and to help control our deer populations. After idiots like this killed off our wolves, blaming them for the deaths of livestock, the deer have began to over graze and overpopulate. With that comes disease, less healthy herds and destruction of ecosystems. We need wolves, coyotes, foxes, and many other predators to keep our ecosystems healthy. It is unfair for everyone to kill them for doing their job.

This entire story reflects multiple accounts of "hunting just because you can" when it comes to extinct species. For example the caralina parakeet, the only parakeet native and once abundant in the eastern United States. These birds were hunted to extinction due to eating farmers crops and their beautiful feathers.
Humans would abuse their complex social relationships by purposefully letting one suffer and scream, just for others to be attracted. All the birds wanted to do was help one of their injured kind, and they would end up shot and killed themselves.
Over the course of just 200 years, these absolutely beautiful birds went from ~30 million to 0. They were declared extinct in 1939. Rest in peace, may one day you return.❤

We are being bullshitted to all round and we're currently going through the biggest cost of living crises in generations, the capitalist model is designed to crush the middle class out of existence- it will only get worse. But, what other option do we have? Communism never works in practice- ever...
On a different note, I agree about the lack of humanity in the farming industry- there has to be some middle ground, doesn't there
The animation is amazing. The dark background makes it feel bleak, showing the fear of the foxes and the pheasants.❤
No example like foxes they are destroying a farms and killing a lot of other animals, qnd one day one fox killed my dog, soo I hate them
Save the foxes!! 🦊

I had the scariest shift of my life just now, I wasn’t questioning fox therian at all, now I am….
As a hunter, I have started very aggresive arguments with people calling animals "game". If you hunt it's a work with ethics, rules and safety precautions. It may have enjoyable moments, but it's no fucking sport.
Hi I’m lily and I have worked in the shooting industry since I was 6month old or younger we treat the birds and foxes with respect and kindness they never suffer and how are chicken farms ok. There raised to be killed they never see grass and they get drugged are birds are fed the finest of food and we even leave one or 2 for the foxes so we are not horrible and this video is from someone who has never even seen this happen ty for reading pls reply with your opinion
@@CrazyArtfurryou mean 6 years? Because no way a 6 month old baby works hunts
Guess I learn something new everyday ig
@@CrazyArtfurryoh for my genuine opinion on your comment
Great, good thing your hunting group you were in had respect
But the last part about this video not seeing the respectful side is kinda ehh
It's true some do have respect but alot of hunting groups and shooting industry are like what's shown in the video, they exist and it's disgusting
@@CrazyArtfurry While I agree that the video is exaggerating a lot of elements, I still think that hunting as a sport is not okay. Of course things can be done to minimize the harm and cruelty, that is a discussion for more educated people. I am but a farm hand who assist with hunting. The animal population decide how much should be shot in order to make sure that neither they nor property is damaged. Traps is barely legal where I live and is generally frowned upon as unfair for the animals. Foxes in specific is shot if they attack livestock or there is a too low population of deer. It's work.
The concept of breeding animals for death sport is just inherently alien to me that I can't reason it. One can draw parallel to meat industry, but I am outmost appalled by that too.
@@CrazyArtfurryyou're an exception not a rule

Foxes are dying of mange, disease, starvation, dying in slow, painful and inhumane ways and under cars because the UK populace thinks life is a Disney movie.
The foxes are suffering from overpopulation… they have no natural predators, they’re actually the perfect animal for “hunts”. I think it should be a bit more sensible and humane, but they’re not endangered, they have no natural predators, they’re so densely populated that they’re migrating to urban areas and disease is rampant among them.
The “gamekeeper” doesn’t kill them to protect a stupid sport, it’s his job to control the population so the healthy foxes can have a healthy environment.
Science and study says that across the UK they should be dispatching 425,000 of them a year.. the gamekeepers only get around to 80k.
Grow Up.

Yes exactly, sad that people dont know about how much animals are suffering, also from other things like the make up industry, fur farming, pearl farming, caviar farming.

We need to do that to prevent disease and death for the animals we have licenses so you cannot just hunt whenever and whatever most of the time we respect the animals and use everything we can from it meat and fur it is also so the chickens don't get eaten
@@lorihall7620 nobody eats fox meat lol, the only thing you could get of a fox that could maybe be utilised is the fur and even then that’s a huge waste.
Controlling predators in general should be avoided unless absolutely necessary
The amount of terror shown through expression, body language and through actions its self. Jus amazes me. Disney. Hire this man. Seriously I'm intrigued.
Wh9 feel bad For foxes
👇
My dad and I took care of a fox that would come around every few days. She would lay down with my dad in the garden and we both got to stroke her, sometimes coming into the house through the back door to eat some cat food. We'd leave food outside for her incase she came by while we were asleep and could always tell it was her by her skinny tale and big beautiful eyes.
Animals aren't just creatures on the planet "we" live on, they're people too. We couldn't imagine treating our pets like people treat "pests". Every animal needs to be treated like the English royal family treats swans (it's illegal to kill or hurt them in any way).
I doubt you’ll feel that way when a coyote rips apart your dog or cat.
@@BratacOfChulakThat's a whole different thing man, animals don't have morals like us, they go by instinct, if something happens to your pet by some other wild animal it's your own responsibility, if a coyote or something like that hunts it's probably because it's need it to survive. So as a human being you have the conscience to know that and prevent those kind of situations, don't blame a animal instinct for your lack of responsibility, protect your pets and avoid contact with wild predators animals.
@@osemnome1336
1) we are animal
2) they do have moral and are sentient. An animal ripping you appart is for one of the following reasons: hunger, defense, fear, annoyance and for some animals like cat and humans, fun.
Prop to you and your dad
@@NigrumTigris just as there is a difference between a domestic and wild animal- there’s a difference between completely wild animals and humans. That doesnt mean we can’t be a like, but we often have fundamentally different mindsets.
They may have “morals” to some extent by human standards, but they could sprout from completely different reasons (ie- simply instinct, unlike humans) & how an animal enacts said “morals” could also be completely different.
I want to be real here is no way I could've animated something like this, something so visceral and impactful. The few seconds of the fox struggling almost physically hurt, I can only imagine what it would be like to spend hours looking over the same still frames. You did an amazing job. Hunting was not meant to be a sport, but a way of life.
and today exept of some areas hunting is not needet anymore to life at all
now hunters say we need to hunt to keep the ecosystem in balance
while areas without any humans hunting ,,show that the areas can keep it in balance all by themself
@@Kurominos1But many of those areas have been left alone. Meanwhile in the Deep South, feral hogs and coyotes were released into the wildlife and are now invasive.
the thing is
down there should live Pumas ,wolves and bears even jaguars (yes Jaguars lived in the north too)
but humans killed them off or decreased the population
so its easy for opotunists to get out of hand
these thigns dont need a human hunter
they need the presence of an apexpredator
a hunter may kil la few and say he decimatet the population and just a few month later theyr as many as before if not more
a wolve pack or a jaguar literally already changes the behaviour of other animals around
it can get so far that animals complelty avoid an area or are so stressed so they dont raise young or less then normal
in my area (Europe / Austria) the golden jackals literally do that to foxes
the area where the Jackals are get avoidet by Foxes cause the jackals wil hunt the foxes too @@noahgarfield4643

idk if this is true or not so take it with a grain of salt but i’ve read elsewhere that PETA has kidnapped animals from their homes, told the owners they can have their pet back in a week or so, but then kill the pet within the first couple of days. I also read that their main goal is to STOP domestication of animals entirely, meaning no pets whatsoever. obviously that’s never gonna happen. but from what i’ve heard from others they sound absolutely terrible.
