There used to be a very mediocre live recording of them performing this song, and it was easily the best capture of it. The most dynamite take of it. Alas, it has disappeared from the internet. I still treasure this one. Long live this song, and their arrangement of it in particular.
How many of you recognize this as an early (1915) Irving Berlin song? Written by a Russian immigrant, English was not his native language - yet it's a classic!
How can I get my hands on this version of the song? I bought the music from the society but its missing the amazing ending and many of the lush embellishments. Thanks in advance!
hey, are these guys still together? I just got the urge to check up on them after a LONG time of not hearing their music, and their Myspace is still up, but I can't find an official website of theirs. I hope they haven't broken up, I always thought these guys had something special!
One day, a kind soul will look down upon our yearning hearts with mercy and give us the link to this video we long for. It's the internet, some day we'll find this long lost footage. Have hope. Also, scroll through the search results like a madman. Works almost every time.
Does anyone remember anything about the video? I might have it somewhere in my archives and love to help you all out. This performance is from 2006 and but I have videos of them performing it at other International conventions as well!

Very nice. All very good singers but no true BBS Tenor. When I joined a Society for the preservation BBS choir, they asked me my vocal range. In a choir, I'm a tenor, but in BBS, I'd be a lead. But I got the part and sang the national anthem at a Milwaukee Brewers game. Over all, very nice. Good job, but it takes a real man to sing like a girl ; )
This song makes me love being a baritone.
3:48 probably the best I’ve ever heard this part of the tag sung in a live setting. Unreal
I swear it just magical. I wish it were in higher quality

This is about the 25th time I've watched this over the years, and it Never ceases to bring a smile to my face!
😎😎😎
The bari did a mighty fine job...
That's my favorite part in this song, especailly ze tag!
Bari’s for life!!🤘🏾 NOBOVdid this like Wheelhouse!
You will be missed in Nashville and beyond! Good luck to you all and take care. ;)

@Phil42x it wasn't the lead, there was a little voice exchange there, and the bari is actually higher than the lead at that point.
Great Blend!
3:50 is a chord that just sounds so full and thick. wow
This is beautiful.
Wheelhouse is back they are a quartet again
go to their homepage all their vidoes are on there=)
Why did they stop competing? Seems like they were in the Top 10 quite a few years. They are very good.
Jonathon Edwards They have competed off and on. I think family obligations, etc.
This is pretty close to the stock arrangement you can order from the society's website
3:10 to about 3:25....so awesome. Gives me the jitters...

he IS the man!
Everyone please listen to 2:54 - 2:56...that was truly BEAUTIFUL!
I agree wholeheartedly. Great sound, but it looks like they were caught in the middle of dinner.
Totally thought that baritone was Kyle Kitzmiller for a sec

@drewjbonner Hey, I'm interested in the arrangement. How can I get it??
nice
Question: there was a vid of these guys singing two songs on a stage in a comp , THE most amazing vid and sound , where is it gone ?
I second that I have been looking for it for years.... have you found it?
I know the one you mean... also hoping someone can re-post it or make it available again.
I have been searching for that video forever. I wish it could resurface, it was SO good.

i heard the bari crack his voice towards the end.... lead does have a diff blend
You can fix the aspect ratio of this video by adding this to the video's tags:
yt:stretch=16:9
anyone have learning tracks for this?
insane
@Nuance5 And somehow, the lyrics are just great.
why did you take 'in the wee small hours' off? I love that! Any chance it will be goin back up?
but its worth it if you want the crowd to be the pleased!
As goofy as he looks when he sings, I actually like the tenor in this quartet.
Sounds good to me!
I love Barbershop of any sort. These guys just need a little more pollish, and they could really go places in the BHS.. Keep it up !
The lead sounded like a baritone while the baritone sounded like a lead
That's because they did a bari/lead swap
anyone know who arranged this?
@Phil42x Definitely was the bari who cracked.
what'd they score?

it costs 2 dollars from BHS
Barbershop before juke boxes, when music was music, men were men, and women were glad glad of it......
Bass gang
Sounds really good... I don't dig their look I'm afraid.
swedish house mafia version is better
I really like wheelhouse, but the lead guy kinda pisses me off.
Weak lead.
