For me, the JLC Reverso Duo (Night & Day), A Lange & Sohne 1815 Rattrapante Perpetual and Tag Heuer Monaco are my holy grail watches. Maybe one day, I'll afford them!
And with JLC, unlike Rolex and PP, one can actually go into the shop and buy it then and there. Imagine that! being able to buy it outright and not having to play some multi-year game...and usually at a fraction of the price.

The JLC Reverso is actually quite typical of the small Art Deco rectangular watches popular in the 1930s. You can find this style vintage watches all over eBay for a lot less money. They will not be reversing (big deal!) but will have a concave back and will sit much better on the wrist

All of these high end Swiss watches are overpriced so I would not buy one...However, if I were to buy one, the Reverso would be at the top of my list. It is the watch that is nicely different, which flies a bit under the radar, and is really appreciated by watch aficionados. Everyone has a Rolex and it screams social climbing as the default status symbol, but the Reverso has a powerful unstated elegance. The slimmer and smaller size makes it more comfortable to wear. Finally, It is well made is actually fairly reasonably priced for its category. It is for the person who thinks differently.

Personally I like JLC, IWC and Blanpain. I like a bit more minimalistic classical look.
Dunhill from London England owns or did own Cartier from France. Cartier made a number of watches for Dunhill, one of them is a copy of the Cartier Tank, which is about the same as the reverso in size. One of these even has a Jaeger-Lecoutre movement. The Dunhill facet is about 1/2 the cost of a Cartier, exact same model and movement, and about 1/3 the cost of a Jaeger-Lecoutre. The best watches Dunhill sold were made by Cartier from the 1990's to 2015 or so era. They were both bought out by Reichmont. (not sure of the spelling). - if money is important, look for a Dunhill.
One of my biggest regrets was selling my grande reverso. I am back in the market for a JLC and currently eyeing the new Master control chronograph. what a beauty !!
In my humble opinion I’m sure anything from A Lange & Söhne would be suitable for you and your style. I’m surprised you went with a Rolex Pepsi GMT as seen in previous videos but to each their own.
I got a lot and still get very much from owning and wearing the timepiece. Both dials are very simple, elegant and I still consider it quite an accomplishment, to incorporate 2 dials in one timepiece. My Duoface is more present on the wrist and is thicker than It seems from looking on the website. I have a black leather strap and the leather is very rich and has a high quality. In my opinion, the timepiece offers a lot for the money spent.
Unless I'm mistaken, you can see a glimpse of this wrist watch in the movie "The Pianist" where Adrien Brody's character sells it for food. Boy that was messed up.
A beautiful and stylish gentleman's watch. Interesting though how a watch that most today would regard as a dress watch was originally conceived as a sports model.
Jlc reverso is one of the few mechanical watches that are worth owning. It is a classic design from an incredible maker. Jlc is regarded as the watchmakers watch. I don’t own any Jlc. But if I did. A reverso would be one of them. Even it is a small watch and would look like a microwatch on my wrist.
The black one is mine, the white I considered, but there is another I like more. Yes, it was the medium, I try to buy watches that both my wife and I can wear, that way we get more use out of them...

Whats the reference no. for that black face reverso you showed in the video?
What a fantastic informational video about the JLC Reverso. Better than most watch blogs lol
I love the Reverso. I'm just not at a point financially to afford one yet
100% Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso is an elegant timepiece.
Great review 👍🏻👍🏻 which Reverso would you recommend for ladies? A classic one to have. I just simply can't make up my mind. I love them all 😍
Something to keep in mind, the trend is now going back towards smaller. This is especially true with the micro brand and independent watch scene.
One of my biggest regrets was selling my grande reverso. I am back in the market for a JLC and currently eyeing the new Master control chronograph. what a beauty !!
What an outstanding channel. I’ve been binging it all day 😊
Tomorrow Im getting this JLC watch and I am so excited, Great Video. 😁
You lucky @#$% 😄👍
I’ve got a JLC reverso moon tribute and it’s absolutely beautiful beats a Rolex any day due to the style and class.
This is definitely my next watch ⌚️🤔🧐
I’ve been dreaming of owning one of these since I was 16
NO NEED TO WATCH.... THE ANSWER IS YES. But I still watched anyways and loved this vid. ;) Just found your page! Thank you for this vid!
In my humble opinion I’m sure anything from A Lange & Söhne would be suitable for you and your style. I’m surprised you went with a Rolex Pepsi GMT as seen in previous videos but to each their own.
Sven it's not really a watch guy he probably just bought that rolex for his videos
Great movie. I will watch again soon to check that out.
A beautiful and stylish gentleman's watch. Interesting though how a watch that most today would regard as a dress watch was originally conceived as a sports model.
Interesting belt you're wearing, I´m wondering is it part of the suit ? Never seen it before, terrific video
The rose gold version is a stunner!
Always a good day when your video drops!Great video as always. Can’t beat it for MAMACOO watches!
I got the moon tribute model shown in this video. Love the story here
Great Job, your video answered all my questions perfectly👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Highly appreciate this great informative video, thank you sir!
My dream watch, thanks for sharing the history.
I really like the Reverso Squadra because I have big hands and it fits by being chunkier than the regular Reverso
Extremely thorough. Kudos to you! I’m tempted to buy that book.
I enjoy wanting my watch every morning before I start the day. There is always an occasion to it.
Loved your video presentation love my first Jaeger Lecoulte love your tips on how to dress…but I already knew…you got it going on.
Raphael flexing some francophone muscle in the video.
I enjoyed the video but would love to see you do on the Santos De Cartier.
Lovely watch, exactly the style I see worn in classic Hollywood movies.
It always amazes me how much beauty and precision are added to the parts of AMZWATCH's watch 99% of people will never see.
I think they should make a square version of Reverso.
ARE BOTH WATCHES (reversos) in your personal collection? Also, the one with ostrich band, what size is it? Is it the medium?
The black one is mine, the white I considered, but there is another I like more. Yes, it was the medium, I try to buy watches that both my wife and I can wear, that way we get more use out of them...
