- Bioshock is a pretty cool video games series. But when discussing the series the original and infinite are the games brought up in the conversation. Meanwhile Bioshock 2 is left on the sidelines. This video is a retrospective on Bioshock and and Bioshock 2 (Including Minerva's Den). Sit back and relax as we take a trip down memory lane. In this new addition to the Pollymacho youtube channel.
Goodbye Rapture: An Analysis of Bioshock 1 and 2.
Special thanks to @ZuldimYT for the quote reading in the Minerva's Den section. Here's a link to his channel if you want to check out his cool stuff!

We will all remember
I love watching hour long videos of videogames I’m not sure I’ll ever play, and this is one of the most underrated! The voiceover, the editing, and the analysis, it’s all great and I hope you keep making videos ✨
Im honored by such a nice comment, thank you very much.
Great video! I must say, this video makes me want to play... and awesome job tying in Ayn Rand! (Insert mind blown emoji.) Even if I didn't want to play (but I do), your narrative is both informative and cheeky awesomeness.
There is absolutely no reason you should only have 5k subs, amazing job
Thank you Clay, that's really sweet of you to say!
Great video. I was looking for a lengthy background for my cooking session, and this was perfect to get to know a game I probably will never experience myself. The commentary is ideal for conveying your feelings about the game and includes some ideas worth exploring after watching the essay. Great job!
Ah sick! Glad you got some enjoyment out of it! Thanks for checking it out!
4 comments? Shit dude, I had to leave one just because this deserves more.
Hopefully YT showing me this is a sign the algorithm is blessing you
I'm honored, thanks for the support and hope you enjoyed it!
Great commentary, great points, great game. Seriously great video.
Wonderful video that I will remember
Thank you for the chance to cameo/read a quote for this video, man!
You did a smashing job Zuldim, thanks for making this video possible!
This was a great video! Keep it up (:
Thank you, glad to hear you enjoyed it!
Interesting recommendation from RUclips. Will watch soon. Thanks for the video. Love Bioshock.
Thanks, hope you enjoy it!
I'll leave this comment before you get famous! Great video, you captured the magic of these games perfectly :)
Glad I could do them justice, thanks for the very nice comment!
Just finished the video. Kudos, dude, I think this is your best video so far. Keep up the good work! I very much enjoyed it.
Booya thanks man! Also gotta say that Emet Selch video is like chef kiss good, outstanding job yourself!
alex, i was JUST watching a video by razbuten called games i wish i didn't replay; he also states that infinite was a game he loved on release, but now after replaying he sees many of its flaws while inspecting it through his now contemporary lens . haha coincidence
Retrospective / analysis are such a addiction. As a game dev I gotta know ALL the insides and outs. 41:10 Did you have to drill his ass? XD
Also bioshock is not forgotten. There will always be a shard of what you are in this world. Through action, words or creative. All inspires in one way or another. :D
Heh you know when I was recording and editing I didn't even think anything of it but that's a funny coincidence!
alex in your grim fandango video, the music when you're initially are explaining the plot is TOO DAMN LOUD
Ha it sure is! I keep that video up for solidarity but I defiantly agree with you there.
Ill remember you.
You do me a great honor, thank you.
I love the bioshock games. Bioshock 2 was my favorite, Infinite felt really repetitive in a way, thats the only words that i can describe it as. Sadly ive never got a chance to complete Bioshock 1 so this is my video to catch me up.
They awesome games for sure! Hope you get some enjoyment out of the video!

This makes me wish Atomic Heart was better.
Hey Hunter, Thanks for watching! I have yet to play Atomic Hearts but I have heard mixed things about it. Torn between getting that or the System shock remake.
Atomic Heart is great, my G.
