- In this video we check out Johns Salvage in Seguin, Texas. The owner claims that there are over 5,000 cars in this central Texas yard. Get lost with us as we walk around this massive yard of forgotten cars.
My dad would have loved this place. He collected radios from classic cars. He would go to junk yards and buy the radios from them. Whenever he was gone longer than expected, we knew exactly where he was. Before he passed away he had the garage and shed full of radios from classic cars. He literally had them labeled from which car they came from.
I would save all the 50s chevy truck parts and the 50s chevy panel. And the 68 impala nice yard
❤️Junk Yards👍😎👍Awesomeness!
29:37 Isn’t that Jo’s truck from Twister? Lmao
Yeah it is lol. Except her’s was solid yellow with blue and black stripes.
That look so nice to see .
Browne auto salvage yard is some-were in Texas and it`s big and very well organized .
I have part on my Pontiac in Sweden from that yard .
With scrap metal prices so high time to send this pile of money to the right crushers. Can't make money with old well picked over shells
That impala wagon is Boss
I definitely need to get down that way and get some parts! LOL
Awesome video & thank you for sharing your Birthday Trip, by the way Happy Belated Birthday! I travel to the southwest US to get away from Wisconsin winters & will definitely check this place out. I have a 51 Ford pickup & my son has a 51 International pickup. Last year I bought a Chevy C10 long box back to Wisconsin from Tucson, AZ. I look forward to checking out your other videos also.
Thank You Perry! We are working on uploading a few more videos soon. Just moved so that's why we haven't had any recent videos. Good luck with your pickup projects.
Thanks everyone! I know where 2 NA Miatas are at a yard in Crosby Texas! 🤔
Oh this is a good episode I remember seeing it
Yes sir. We have 3 junkyard videos so far. John's, Little Valley, and Shawn's in east Texas.
come down on prices so people can restore these older cars?not greed takes them to the scrapyard.
I just got done watching this video and I thought it was really cool to like junkyard like that I am in Kentucky and I like to do the same thing here and I think it’s really cool that the boys are so interested in it and so very knowledgeable Really great video
Good job
Now you need to search for some NA Miata's!
Once they start stacking them - often precariously - the cars are pretty much ruined AND a hazard.
Left "go" and overgrown, this yard needs to be hoed out.
im surprise you didn't see the 1951 henry j Kaiser at 51 :53 looks like a 6 cyl. because chrome windshield . When you first entered the yard that was a 1952 Willys with the W in the grill
5,000 cars and 4,500 of those cars are crushers
Beware of snakes, black widow spiders and junk yard dogs.
That part of Texas has Coral snakes .
Well".....choke my chicken ! Candy store-restore!
41:59 Looks like a 64 Chevy fullsize
Old suburban had a posi rear
Cool vid but the owner could toss out at least 35% of what he has when scrap is at a good price . Lots of "nothings good left" cars. I'm sure he doesn't care though .
Do you have chevy apache 56/57?
They might have some at John's. I don't remember. I know for sure CTC and Brownes junkyards had some.
😍
do they sell them?
Only some are sold whole, you need to contact them to find out what ones though
Yes. They sold a truck while we were there.
Can you go there an buy parts
Yes, sir. All of the junkyards that we have visited sell parts. Prices vary greatly by yard, though.
@@downsouthjunking8180 I’m coming through that area in June - July I know it’ll be hot but I’m from Florida I can handle it ha ha
looks like a bunch of junk 2 me
was ist Texas für ein assi-land ,kenn die da keine schrottplätze
O u like the chevy stuff well u lost my interest no history in chevy stuff
Good call. Chevies will probably always be a majority of what we discuss.
Any 57 or 58 plymouths?
Unfortunately no. At least we didn't see any.
