    yesssss I'm such a solo traveler. I like being able to decide my own schedule. If I get lost, I'm not wasting someones time. If I get somewhere and I don't like it or I finish what i wanted to do there, I can just leave~ I eat what I want, when I want. It's so refreshing not having to work around other peoples wants and needs haha

    Travelling Solo is the best thing ever!! I went to Hong Kong alone and made the good friends. I didn't vlog too because I wanted to live-in the moment and because I was lazy ahaha. I will definitely visit those places. Thanks for sharing your tips.

    I’m the same on being in groups. Most of the time you can’t get everyone on the same page as to what they want to do and often the group breaks up into smaller groups to suit their wants 🙄 the pros are you obviously want to have experience moments with your friends and it’s safer but being alone hits different sometimes 😭

    So many great tips, Anne! Traveling with friends is fun, but I think it would get exhausting if thats the only way I ever traveled. Solo travel seems like bliss.
    Would you consider doing a plan with me video? It would be so interesting to actually see you planning a trip and then maybe even documenting how it turns out. Just some food for thought from a nosey subbie.

    Arrived in Korea a few months ago! I’m trying to plan more solo trips but I’m mostly anxious about the subway, still not used to it and I’m worried about getting lost 😞 Any tips for finding my way around Korea’s subway?

    • @heyitsanne
      @heyitsanne  2 года назад +1

      the kakaometro subway app is my favorite! all english, can set an alarm to tell you when to transfer/get off, and you can change it to different cities if you travel a lot

    Do you have any tips for Jeju island? Im thinking Seoul, Busan, Jeju and maybe a city in between...

    • @heyitsanne
      @heyitsanne  Год назад +1

      i have a few videos in jeju you can find on my channel. if you are solo traveling and don't have a long time, i suggest booking a tour group. they will drive you around to all of the tourist places and take you to good restaurants as well (just make sure to see what is include in the tour package) in those videos i have the packages in the description box :)

    • @heyitsanne
      @heyitsanne  Год назад +1

      i just checked and it looks like the company i went through (trazy) no longer offers that tour package :( i would still suggest trying to find a tour package as taxis will be very expensive and taking a bus will be hours of waiting/schedules not accurate if you're wanting to see many things. unless you are wanting to stay near a beach and relax or in a resort hotel, then that is completely fine and a tour is not necessary :) you could also rent a car if you have an international drivers license.

    How easy is it to take luggage like suitcases on Korean transportation?

    • @heyitsanne
      @heyitsanne  3 года назад +1

      pretty easy. you will often see people with a carryon sized bag on subways, buses, and trains on weekends. if you are meaning multiple bags, that will definitely be a lot harder as there is only so much space and it can be crowded

    • @heyitsanne
      @heyitsanne  3 года назад

      traveling alone can have pros and cons, but as long as you are aware of your surroundings and do your research ahead of time, you will have a great experience. i love traveling alone, and would recommend it to anyone! to make things a bit less stressful for you, tours are a great option, especially if you are limited on time and want to be able to see as many things as possible. there are a lot of great tour options in korea. you can use translating apps, people in korea are for the most part very kind and are willing to help you :)
