You may want to stop in Lebanon in the next few days if you head towards Franklin soon. They have cleared the trees and brush to the old railroad bridge and you can see the train easily now. The bridge is near the end of its service life and should be replaced with a bridge after the last tourist train in a few days. This is a major commitment by the LM&M Railroad and City of Lebanon and granting partners to preserve this operation well into the future. Thanks
Great train action JT!! Another add to my train list to enjoy again. Always love seeing the locomotives working hard. Thanks for all you do to bring us the rails. Until next time!!
Beautiful and perfect view. Wow. That CSX is in a hurry. 😮😊 Awesome double stacks. I love hearing those arms go down. It's funny how one spouse loves trains and the other one doesn't. He goes along with me though.❤ Really enjoyed this video with good weather and love your fur babies. Thanks so much Mr JT ❤😊😊
I enjoyed this video of your railfanning day at Carlisle, Ohio on 15 December 2023, Jaw Tooth! You caught a nice variety of trains. Plus, you received a horn salute from two of the drivers of the John Deere tractors that crossed the railroad tracks while you were railfanning. I wonder where the tractors were going. It seems to me that the harvest season would be completed before 16 December 2023.
Thank you very much! I don't know where they were going but there are a lot of farms mixed in with the residential area. Maybe they had to disk up the soil somewhere or take them to storage. Anyway, thanks for watching and commenting Thomas!
You always remind me of the crew on Petticoat Junction. Charley Pratt (Smiley Burnette) was the engineer of the Cannonball, and Floyd Smoot (Rufe Davis) was the conductor. Floyd took over both jobs when Burnette died during the 4th season.
Hey Jawtooth! We watch your vids all the time. In fact, we made it a point to visit Thermond W.V. this last fall, and we were not disappointed!! We will go back next fall again and meet some friends from Florida there! Great history and we love the way you talk about the geographical locations and the population and so on! Learn something new everyday from you! Keep up the great work! We'll be watching!
Awesome! 👏 there is a track that runs through Fairborn over near Wright Patt AFB . I work over there! Sometimes I can hear the train coming during the day!
@robertdshannon5155 Did you see that US steel was sold yesterday to the Japanese? They will retain the name but the steel company is going to be owned by the Japanese.
That high pitched drone that sounds like angry bees seems to a characteristic of those rails you pointed out in the video. It seems to be present only when the trains are bookin'. I think that sound was used in the movie War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise. You can hear it when the burning passenger train goes by them at the crossing before the river sequence.
Like the location where You shot the coal train with EMD SD70MAC rebuild looked like on the head end, nice footage, last manifest was booking with another Mac leading with cool 😎 Nathan horn!🎄🛤🚂
Actually, I forgot to tell you, we live in Bryan, Ohio. I'm a retired Law Enforcement officer. When you did the segment on Deshler, that brought back memories of when I assisted the Secret Service guarding President Reagan on his Whistle Stop Tour. I believe that was 1984. Also, Bryan was one of the places the Jet train went through in I believe 1966.
Awesome! I bet that was interesting. I was just looking at Bryan on Google Maps. I see they have an Amtrak stop and an industrial spur that goes through town. I think I remember the Jet train. Is that the one that is at the Illinois Railroad museum? I think it was silver if I remember right
How can you have 20,000 views and only 2,000 likes? Every one who watches your videos should give them a 👍 thumb. You go to a lot of work to make these videos and l appreciate it. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Great as always - some of those were bookin' ! You should keep the speed checker with you so you can show the actual speed! Thanks for all that you do.
@@train1962 Thanks for being here so fast Steve! The wife and I are going to a play tonight at Cincinnati Playhouse in The Park. They redid the place and it is pretty awesome. Its a lot of fun
Second video I have seen of you at that location. As before, the CSX line has substantially more traffic than the NS, but at least there was some activity this time. Good content always; happy holidays to you and yours.⛄️
Great double-stack train heading for Toledo and the great lakes, and who knows where after that. The loco on the local is the same as in your street running show. It is labeled SD40E but looks like SD50, and so it has been down rated. That is what CSX would call SD50-3.
You were wondering how many trains you filmed over 27 minutes & 8 seconds. Here they are.... 1/ Southbound ( North & South ) CSX Line w/356 axles @ Carlisle OH , 2/ Westbound ( East & West ) Norfolk Southern ( Dayton to Cincinnati ) "3:40" to "7:20", 3/ CSX Train "8:10" to "11:22" csx #5443 & #3307 - a coal & steel coil train on 620 axles. 4 / CSX Train #799 & #529 @ mp.45 Cincinnati and mp.157 toledo from "12:10" to "14:45" , a double stack intermodal travelling on "Lucchini 2009 Rails". 5 / CSX ......3rd loco ( of 3 ) #5303, northbound box car consist from "16:13" to "18:22". 6 / NS Westbound local ( short ) #NS#6336, "18:55" To "19:57" on rails that are 132 p/yd, rolled Illinois in 1981. 2 Pair of J.D tractor 🚜 dual wheeled axles ❤ 7th train = CSX Southbound on 352 axles from "21:38" to "23:13", loco's CSX#4527 & CSX#263, predominantly tank cars with 30% mixed Manifest 😮😊❤

Wow, thanks for the information! I heard they were going to replace it but I didn't know they were getting started already.
When is the last train? I looked on their web site and I could not find anything about when the last train is
There is a norfolksouthern yard in onita Tennessee and one in Chattanooga spring city tn is a great place to film trains
Assuming no changes, I believe Saturday 23rd was the last scheduled holiday runs with the final
Final train leaving at 8 pm.
There is nothing better than watching your videos and drinking g coffee. Thanks for great quality. 😊
Now that's what a railroad crossing should sound like. No e-bells for me. Mechanical bells are the best. Have a nice day 😊🌈
Thanks, you too!
Yes, mechanic bells are awesome and old school
Even empty coal trains are awesome!! Thanks JT. 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
Glad you like them!

The container train pulled by engine 799 was a really awesome view. Making the turn out of the trees and booking. 👍 Nice one JT
Thank you very much!
That's one of my favorite spots too, they have the real bells on the CSX crossing signals. Great shots today!
Mine too!
More interesting train locations. It’s so cute to see the doggies all tuckerd-out after a day of play. Thanks, Jaw Tooth.
Killer intermodal JT! Great variety of containers. 😊😊😊❤❤❤
Another first rate tour de force. Liked it a lot, thanks JT!
Glad you enjoyed!
You know Brian, we always love when you show us close up shots of the rail
yeah, we all like to see the rust go away.
Yes i like it because i worked in a rail mill.
Cool, I will try to remember to show it more

The container Train had 216 pieces by my count. For every trailer on a Train is a Truck driver without a load. Great content. Merry Christmas.
A fabulous steel train JT! I just love them. 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤
EXCELLENT LOCATION, LOVE THOSE UNIT TRAIN'S GREAT CATCH JAWTOOTH 😃👍👍👍

Nice new John Deere tractors, too. 😊😊

I like the screaming sound as the wheels hit the rail. Those trains were flyint and you hit the jackpot!

hello Jaw Mrs Tooth & it's is Randy and i like yours video is cool thanks Jaw & Mrs Tooth Friends Randy
Got a train last summer with 60 John Deere tractors on it coming out of the Enola Yard. Cool video.
Lucchini RS is an Italian steel company. Makes an assortment of railway products, including rail.
It's ridiculous that we import steel products.
They have plants around the world, those rails probably came from the North America part headquartered in New York. (According to Wikepedia)
One wonderful video with surprises.
Just love the Big Mac at 22.00
Awesome video Jaw Tooth enjoying watching too and enjoy the side show too 🚂🚂🚂🚂👍😃😎♥️

wow a whole bunch of clean boxes.

I really liked the westbound mixed freight, too. 😊😊😊❤❤❤
The best!
Just checked and Luccini is an Italian company with a global presence. They have a railway division that produces rail and wheels.

Lol, thanks for watching!
Love the spot where you caught the csx intermodal and csx coal train nice open land there and beautiful too
The city of Carlisle really does keep that maintained nicely. The police department is just to the left behind the trees and is on the lot

Intresting trains. Lots of automotive stuff I guess...

I do keep it with me but I keep forgetting to use it. I get talking to the railfans and forget about it
Hi JT I see the rails are captivated with what we call dog nails. Here in th UK we use the Pandrol rail clip. Are you familiar with this system.?
Thank you for the Awesome video Jaw Tooth 💖🤗 Seriously what is their hurry lol.
Exactly!

Hey jaw tooth great location for train watching I'd love to have a house between the 2 lines. Have a great railroad day. 🚂🙋♀️

Railroads are the most reliable and dependable form of transportation. It is a shame that they are not better utilized.
