    As a 3 point shooter, he was as good as he needed to be

    1 of the things that made MJ great, was he never showed bad sportsmanship towards the pistons even after they damn near decapitated him during their rivalry, always congratulated them everytime ( the G.O.A.T )

    MJ's internal clock was inhumane.

    Imagine MJ shooting in today’s game where you can’t close out on a shooter or it’s a foul.

    Durant: "It depends on what I’m shooting from the field. First quarter if I’m 4-for-4, I let it go. Third quarter if I’m like 10-for-16, or 10-for-17, I might let it go. But if I’m like 8-for-19, I’m going to go ahead and dribble one more second and let that buzzer go off and then throw it up there. So it depends on how the game’s going."
    The difference...

    I dont know why everytime mike shoots at the three, looks like its hard for him but as you watched kobe shooting 3s, like it was easy for him, they had a same shooting form tho..

    • @youngcactusjack
      @youngcactusjack 2 года назад +6

      It wasn’t hard for him he just didn’t implement it in his game like Kobe because he never needed to because he knew he dominate scoring wise with without and the era he was he wasn’t keen on players like taking 3s anyway whole teams was averaging 9 a game

      look at the way Kobe shot his threes early in his career. it looks like he used all his might just to get them in, but as long as it goes in, right? Look at how Mj kept his shooting form on both the midcourt Jazz and the Sonics 3 from that difficult corner angle with Kemp and Hawkins on him. Just like the announcer said it looks like he shot it with ease. Kobe came in with a better jumpshot than MJ did because he had the luxury of sitting there watching and studying MJ's shooting form when he watched him play. Look at Mj's first three-peat 3pt shooting in the playoffs vs Kobe's first three-peat in the playoffs. Their attempts and makes were similar, but Jordan shot 39% percent vs Kobe at 35%, but yet Kobe has the better rep because he attempted more over his career. Honestly, i think Jordan was a better shooter considering he didn't really practice three point shooting, but yet was still effective at it when it came to the playoffs/finals and even in his last game in Bulls uniform, he went 3/7 from 3, along with 45 points.

      @@catcountry0099 his timing. not too early which could be forced and will leave some time for the opponent. And almost never late that it won't count
