GoodVac - Kirby parts haul for the Avalir 2 Vacuum + Multi Surface Shampoo Kit

I have a new (to me) Kirby Avalir 2 and I needed a few things: bags, a new belt, etc. I discovered GoodVac is an excellent source for parts to fit Kirby and Rainbow vacuums. This video is my haul for the Avalir 2 and a brief synopsis of how I got to this point.

As a twenty years custodian and still going. We were always Kirby until five years ago. Except for the weight they are amazing.

I've got a kirby i got of Craigslist with all those attachments for $100. I've had it for over 10 years and aside from the rubber belt it's been flawless.

We love our Kirby! Recently we looked into a rainbow vacuum but 3500 bucks is a little steep for our pockets.

Rainbow is certainly interesting, but based on what I’ve seen Rainbow can’t come close to the Kirby suction power

We bought the Avalir 2 off of Facebook for 250. We took it to the dealer to have gone through which cost another 70 bucks. And then the dealer sold us the accessories for another 200. Which is a lot less than a new one and significantly less than a rainbow.

My wife is stuck on the Dyson Animal, we used to have 5 dogs and 2 cats, she tried them all. Her parents i remember had a Kirby, but never thought of taking it at the estate sale. They are possibly the best ??
