Just started reading Cold Case Christianity and enjoying it. James and Lee Stroebel are very similar people. Both set out as atheists to analyse the gospels, both concluded that the gospels are accurate.
To just clarify a bit: Paul says that some of those 500+ have fallen asleep (passed away), but most of them are still alive 😊 Anyway. Good video. I love the work of J. Warner Wallace.
I was wondering about something: Would it be more reliable evidence if Jesus would have written his own book in his own words, signed his own name, and had the 12 disciples sign and verify the truth of Jesus and what he wrote? How do you guys see it?
Obviously, that's why the idea that the messiah can only to die on the Cross its most likely not true. But Christianity cannot grasp this idea because for Christian there's not other theory possible.
well some people will still say it’s being fabricated right… this kind of unintentional cross referencing that happened is far more reliable for me since it happened naturally… even if all 4 gospel said exactly the same thing , people will still accuse the text that there is a collusion here…there’s no winning with this,,, so these unintentional cross referencing is far more reliable for me..since it’s very unlikely that what people say about the bible like a game of telephone, it has been passed down etc etc so how can we believe it is still accurate and all will not be able to nail the little fact about this unintentional cross referencing from each gospel…highly unlikely they can be that detail even with the unintentional referencing… wdyt?

Can anyone point me to a longer video where he lays out all of the reasons that he deduced that the gospels are true? I know that I’ve seen one ages ago and want to share it
