    I don’t know if many people in the fitness community are aware of this, but olive oil actually loses parts of its nutrition when it gets used for cooking, so even though it’s healthy in general, as soon as you put it in the frying pan, its benefits are reduced😕 Obviously, it’s still better than margarine/butter, it just won’t have all its original benefits, as when being used in its purest form. That’s why I only use it for making salad dressings, or drizzle over whatever food I enjoy it on, and use cold pressed coconut oil when cooking.

    Quick oats are cooked 30% longer during processing and rolled thinner than regular rolled oats. So if you cook rolled oats longer they are exactly the same. The only difference with pasturised eggs is they are heated in their shell to kill bacteria before sale.

    You nailed it Sir. I always get the meats and perishables last. Don't get why everyone else in these grocery videos always go for the meats and perishables first, how dumb, your food sits at room temperature while you are taking your sweet time looking at carb options, condiments etc, bacteria is growing.

    • @christuttle6487
      @christuttle6487 5 лет назад

      Oh they do, "Washing the chickens in a strong chlorine solution (20-50 parts per million of chlorine) provides a brash, cost-effective method of killing any microorganisms on the surface of the bird, particularly bacteria such as species of Salmonella and Campylobacter. This helps prevent the meat being contaminated with microbes during slaughter and evisceration."

    It looks like bikiny meal prep not big on the budget lol.. Why egg whites and chicken breast? If you need the most calorie and micronutrient dense foods for 50$ ? It is very low in calories and micronutrients. If you need pure protein source just buy whey protein lol. For calories and micronutrients whole eggs, ground beef and sardines. That is totally different level in terms of micronutrients and calories. If you want chicken, just enjoy whole chicken. Chicken breast doesn't make any sense. Only for contest prep.. Also BUCKWHEAT. Dirt cheap, easy to digest no gluten, best source of magnesium, manganese, copper, zinc, good amount of protein, carbs, fiber. I am giving you 3 from 5 stars for your "Big on a Budget" Chris... :) Especially for your horrible work with knife where you are cutting out like 10% of the mat due to sme small amount of fat LOL. Just leave it there. If you don't want the fat you can leave in in the pan. Because I have news for you the fat will melt away from meat... You don't want eat chicken fat but peanut butter is even worse lol. Full of mold, micotoxins and most importantly peanuts are basically just omega 6 pro inflammatory fats...
