It’s 2019 and I still watch all the big on a budgets while i cook after a workout and after work when I cook my meals...so much motivation and love all these animals. Helped me so much. Thx Boys
John did the best, he didn't pick what I would have ,but it's very well rounded. You don't have to get fruits and veggies to grow ,but your health in the future will thank you.
This one comes in at a 1st place tie with the Rubish one. The only thing I like about this one more is how there's an article that breaks down the meals and macros. Would be really awesome if that could happen more often. Regardless, thanks for another great part of the series!
great content really this make me give great idea regarding stacking diet n stuff thankyou for giving such knowledge wish to have more like this content from you guys 😇
JOHN . Thanks For All Your Help !! Yes I’m A BB 🏋️🏋🏻♂️💪 Too , And Can EAT MY WAY TO HEVEN 😇😇😇😇 !! I’m Not On a Budget But I Do Not Through MONEY OUT THE DOOR , I’m Very Organized And You Really Have It Down Pat ! GOOD LUCK ALWAYS TO YOU BIG GUY !!!!
I learned quite a bit of valuable information from watching this video. My only question is how did he cook the frozen vegetables in the microwave without them turning soft and and completely dried out?
This may sound like a stupid question but for an example a chicken breast, when you cook it the size of the breast decreases does the protein also decrease?
I have a question. So I have a day job, like 10 - 8.. so what can be the meal split ? I can do the first two meals. But then, eating rice and chicken and then just sitting infront of a computer, doesn't sound good though :P . any pointers for people like us
For me Animal is the best on the market, that's why they are nowadays still on the market and doing a great job, always stick with Animal!!!!! Pls don't go away!!
At 4:50 his maths is wrong. To calculate raw weight from cooked you must multiply by 1.3(3); assuming cooked is weight is 75% of raw. Multiplying by 1.25 yields around 93%.
whats the total amount of chicken/beef needed a day? I weigh 180 and I'm pretty lean but I want to grow bigger. like oz's or ibs or amount of chicken breasts anyone?
his maths is bad. if you lose 25% through cooking you need go add a third to the uncooked weight, not a quarter. Sounds petty but if you need 120 ounces cooked that would mean buying 160 ounces not 150.
John, you da man. I thought you were full of shit. But I managed to find a way to buy the same ingredients for $55 in southern California. Great video Animal.

I think John made the most of his $50. The diet plan is very well-rounded. Thanks, John & Animal! Quality content as always!
I graduated high school with John. I had no idea he was an IFBB pro. Way to go man!
How we are supposed to trust you on this?
@@mindfreaksunny3848 why not?
@@Reppintimefitness good luck trusting random peeps on internet !
Most well rounded version so far
Nice would like to see another one featuring a powerlifter like Dan Greene!
Do a series like "The Cost of Cutting" to show us what they buy when cutting down
Pretty much eat the same only smaller ammounts, less calories.
Animal dosen t know cutting. Animal only knows how to be huuge😂🤷🏽♂️
@@keemoify that's not always applicable. When cutting you have to fight against your hunger so you choose less calorie dense foods.
Great guy. Very humble and smart.
Want to thank Animal for this amazing series. I'm a 14 year old lifter and struggling to meet calories but these videos give me some good ideas.
This might be my favorite "big on a budget" so far!
John did the best,
he didn't pick what I would have ,but it's very well rounded. You don't have to get fruits and veggies to grow ,but your health in the future will thank you.
and he bought his cooking oil & condiments! (unlike everyone else)
I love how there is a fire extinguisher bracket with no fire extinguisher.
nice video Animal!

I have seen this series more times than I can count. Great stuff ANIMAL!
Ps. Get Masone back on Camera.
Why is this black and white? Video's on the budget too?
Just messing with you. Very informative. Thanks.
watching this 2024 is unthinkable 😂😂
I love the metal music when hes ringing up his groceries lol
16:00 When u colorblind your whole life, then 1 day u wake up & see color for the first time
One of my favorites of the series
Wow always learn something new from these big guys..
Very good content Animal!
No way you can get all that food for 50 bucks in 2024.. You would need at least 80 bucks adjusted for inflation
its awesome that you're still including the ox himself in the videos
these big on budget vids r gold man!!
I'm gonna give this a whirl!
I thought $50 a week would be impossible!
It is now! 😂 good luck getting half of that for $50 these days.
i do the same haha - protein first. if i get good deals on meats, that determines what other goodies i can get
Thank you John!
great content really this make me give great idea regarding stacking diet n stuff thankyou for giving such knowledge wish to have more like this content from you guys 😇
I love all the shopping videos Animal put out
I would like to see an updated version with 2022 food prices and inflation with Sleepy Joe in office
do you guys have a cutting on the budget series?

great video! smart, simple and effective!!!
I learned quite a bit of valuable information from watching this video. My only question is how did he cook the frozen vegetables in the microwave without them turning soft and and completely dried out?
Cover them. Don't let the moisture escape. Let them steam themselves in the container
This may sound like a stupid question but for an example a chicken breast, when you cook it the size of the breast decreases does the protein also decrease?
+Random Onzin Cheers brother!
we need a big lenny episode
real good job John. Great info on everything you were getting. keep it up. I'm from San Antonio, TX never heard of cats-up. LOL
the filter makes me feel like i’m watching a prison documentary
Excellent video!
Outstanding !!!
well done great video ...
to save money use lentils as a protein source and buy in bulk over 1kg size bags also make ur own peanut butter u will save at least 50% this way.
and you will keep everyone away with all your farts
Would it be possible to do this in Canada for once?
In 2024 looks like impossible to get Same amount of food even with 100$
Do one in CA prices!
is this a promotion for IGA?
animal please more videos of huh or vincenzo
These meals apply even on rest days?
I'm getting big but I refuse to get to a size where I breath like these guys do.
I have a question. So I have a day job, like 10 - 8.. so what can be the meal split ? I can do the first two meals. But then, eating rice and chicken and then just sitting infront of a computer, doesn't sound good though :P . any pointers for people like us
Life is good keep it up
does he eat all that through out the week or he adds extra food? do you guys throw it away?
INTELLIGENT SPENDING JOHN JEWETT HAS THE BEST SPREAD FOR 50 EASY AND IT LOOKS BALANCED AND HEALTHY
Do Big on a Budget with Dan Green!
6yrs ago this was fairly possible, today $50 is enuff for a few days if that
Should try doing big on a budget in Australia. Good luck
lucky, beef is around 17$/lbs and chicken 22$/lbs here in canada
For me Animal is the best on the market, that's why they are nowadays still on the market and doing a great job, always stick with Animal!!!!! Pls don't go away!!
no encuentro la opción de traducción al español que lastima
good stuff
John Jewett is a very good guy!
Vlynéo all animal guys are good💪

Can we have color video..
whats the total amount of chicken/beef needed a day? I weigh 180 and I'm pretty lean but I want to grow bigger. like oz's or ibs or amount of chicken breasts anyone?
Another great vid! My only probelm is I don't have $50 a week. Maybe do one called, "Big when Poor." lol
if you're so poor you can do every day potatoes and tuna / rice and chicken
Yes, frozen veggies are great for convenience and frequently are on sale as well.
Grab my meat and go...🤣
Man I wish I could eat for that cheap, 9 lbs of chicken alone would be well over $60 most places in Canada.
He uses 50 usd for a week ? I have to use 162usd for a month in my country, and i consider that a budget...
Holy cow.
love this series! Watched every one of them
cuts fat off chicken....but buys olive oil for more fat?
his maths is bad. if you lose 25% through cooking you need go add a third to the uncooked weight, not a quarter. Sounds petty but if you need 120 ounces cooked that would mean buying 160 ounces not 150.
What do you do for living? It's HARD to make money just from bodybuilding related things.
Thumbs up for Crystals hot sauce!!
In 2023 50$ for 1 day😢
I know it's on a budget, but 3300kcal?
Animal, could you do lean on a budget? Maybe like a keto diet?
what about taaaax
But what if you get a fire ?
He added a protein shake as a meal but didn't include the cost in the budget! Most of these episodes they stick strictly to what is bought in store.
Samuel Butler protein shakes aren't that expensive tho, can even be cheaper than food depending on which you get
I also noticed on multiple episodes they add protein shakes which are not part of the budget.
stop being cheap lol
"supplements". right. those injectables are requirements
j parks yeah guys at this high end of the spectrum are using drugs, so what?
That IGA brand is suspect how can they have almost every product John was looking for?
I think the P.B. he choose was not natural am i wrong?
John, you da man. I thought you were full of shit. But I managed to find a way to buy the same ingredients for $55 in southern California. Great video Animal.
Ha! I eat like this already! Nice!!
Seems like a nice guy
Why are they so critical on weighing food?
I just slow cook the cheaper frozen chicken under a lid and scrape the fat off as it cooks out.
She’s checking if it’s counterfeit cus he’s a muscle head?💪
like the video though
No one on the east coast says catsup
I didn't c the protein buy. I'm 52 and old. Did I miss it
Eat
I been trying to text him for months guess he's to busy for old friends
Haha i'm that poor i have £35 to last 2 weeks. Now that's a budget
check the eggs bro!!
In 2035 we will spend $50 per day
😍
Color ??? i don't know why in black and white, color please !!!

Animal savage 😂😂😂
