10:43 Collosal answer ❤ thank you so much. Your adjacent-topic ramblings are so engaging, I didn't even realize. Great insight. That's probably a big part of my personal-adhd appeal for your writing/editing style, and I think it's so important to talk about the whole context of everythin we're talking about; the "Before we talk about Disco Elysium, we have to talk about the fall of the USSR" of it all. And the 'Authentification?' of Animation is an insanely interesting topic near the center of my interests that I haven't meaningfully evaluated; there's so much to be said there. Like I think Pixar's animation style - while revolutionary for it's time; while current releases are still a mark above what most studios can achieve - hasn't appreciably evolved enough to eclipse itself, creating this sort of new baseline; the Disney-ification - or often Dreamworks-ification - of 3d animation, which others have kicked-off from. And Spiderverse is this whole other incredible knockout punch of what animation can be. I mean just look at Hazbin Hotel, with their over-developed highly-stylized character designs; classic, modern, but original. Animation has always been about - something that I think a lot of people like about anime - expertly sacrificing realism for authenticity, but even anime often becomes an amalgamation of tropey anime shorthand, and I think the anime - and animation - that stick out are often just ones that do something new, and do it well. Etc. etc. And yeah! Barbie IS like Shrek!
Love hearing your video making process! Everyone goes about it in slightly (or majorly) different ways so that's always cool to hear about. Shoutout to the Big Cheese, Mr Ernie and Acorn!!
Congratz superdude. Your vidio on masculin anime was what got me over. Im looking forward to see whst u hsve in the stove. Even if i dont agree in everything i definently see where yyou come from when we talk about fanservice. If you like kaguya sama i think "science fell in love so i tried to prove it" kind of hits that same vibe otherwise "Tomo Chan is a girl" is a great anime and i hope that "spice and wolf"(one of my fav) will finish the entire story in this remake. Thank you for a great time and hope to see u hit the 100k mark.😊
for your consideration, if you get fed up with wondershare try kdenlive as an alternative, it is admittedly rather rough around the edges but it gets the job done
