This is the BEST video I've seen for letting you know what Punta Cana is all about and what the excursions are. It shows so much that you can tell if you'd be interested in going on any or all of them. I also appreciate the excellent video taking and quality. I think it makes the video better with no non stop talking. Great job! Thank you!
$50 taxi from the airport is way too expensive! When you exit the airport, I suggest you walk down a little to the bus stop and order an Uber! It’ll be much cheaper! Yes Uber works in DR! They just can’t pick you up in front of the airport!
I've heard some very negative comments about some of these tours. The Saona Island one has received scathing reviews. They take hours to get you there and when you are there it's just for 2 hours. So even though people are out of their hotels for 12 hours, only 2 of those are spent on the island. The journey to get there takes ages and is very chaotic. I won't be doing that tour. I might try to get a private boat but the trip sounds like a nightmare.
Hello thank you for your video and also thank you for posting the tours that your did in the description. I am planning a solo trip for next month and i'm debating between Riu Palace Punta Cana and Riu Palace Macao. Any suggestions or advice. Please let me know, Santo Domingo looked amazing so did everything else.
@Tiffany Hang Glad you enjoyed it, thank you for watching! 🙏🏼 I prefer Riu Palace Punta Cana Hotel with a better choice of restaurants (6) and bars (5) and a better beach and palm trees
Thanks @Erika Ortiz. We stayed 10 days in the nice Riu Palace Punta Cana hotel. (may 2-12) Important: our hotel cleaned the beach daily. So guests of this beautiful hotel have no problem. But overall the beach is very dirty by tons of seaweed that is washed up daily by the tide. If there is sine seaweed at our beach, they clean it immediately but all other hotels just don’t do anything. It looks super ugly and it stinks painfully. We took a day trip to Saona Island from Bávaro because we wanted to escape the omnipresent seaweed. Finally a beach with no seaweed!
@Vibe With Lucy It's about 2km. The horseback riding is not obligatory, you can choose to go for a walk but when it rains, the trail is muddy and slippery.
