  • In this episode, we dive into the chaotic world of Chocolate Factory Simulator: Prologue, a steampunk candy simulator where steam and gears are your best friends in creating gourmet chocolate. We kick things off with a first look at the game’s quirky mechanics, from building a chocolate empire to learning how to operate a steampunk factory. As the prologue unfolds, we discover that making the perfect chocolate bar is a lot harder than it seems, especially when your robot assistant, Nougat, can’t even move without upgrades.
Setting up our chocolate factory feels a bit like Bioshock Infinite meets Willy Wonka. The floating city visuals and steampunk vibes are on point, but some bugs make it a bit rough around the edges. Early on, we struggle with installing a communication module for Nougat, who quickly becomes a sarcastic companion with lots of advice but not much physical help. Despite some glitches, we finally manage to get the factory up and running.
As we take our first order, the game’s mix of factory simulator and life simulator elements really start to show. The process of measuring ingredients, adding them to the pot, and carefully managing temperatures is a lot like Cooking Simulator. But even with precise steps, it’s easy to mess up and end up with too much or too little of each ingredient, leading to some hilarious moments of trial and error.
The steampunk factory aesthetics add a unique twist, but we quickly realize that juggling multiple tasks is no small feat. Even something as simple as pouring chocolate into molds can go wrong if you’re not careful. We also get to experiment with chocolate shapes and packaging, adding another layer of customization to the process, which is both fun and challenging as we try to meet customer demands.
As orders pile up, the pressure ramps up, and it’s clear this isn’t your average candy simulator. Between managing machinery and handling multiple ingredients, things get chaotic fast. We also have to deal with a manual coal-powered furnace to keep everything running. The factory simulator aspect really shines here as we struggle to maintain a balance between speed and precision.
Our first major challenge comes when a customer asks for tempered chocolate, something the game doesn’t fully explain. We spend a good chunk of time trying to figure out what it means and how to do it. Despite our best efforts, we send off an order that’s far from perfect, leading to some mixed customer reactions. Even when things go wrong, the game keeps it lighthearted with its quirky characters and humor.
In the later part of the video, we dive into decorating our chocolate dungeon (yes, dungeon) to match the steampunk theme even more. We turn our factory into a dark and moody space, fitting the vibe of this unique life simulator. With every completed order, we gain reputation points that unlock more customization options and keep the gameplay fresh.
Nougat, despite being mostly stationary, continues to provide commentary as we struggle to keep up with orders. The game’s charm lies in these little interactions, as well as the steady progression of upgrades and challenges. Even though we can’t give Nougat wheels just yet, we’re excited about what the full version of Chocolate Factory Simulator could bring.
The final order of the day involves a mix-up with a coffee-flavored chocolate bar. A few missteps later, we finally get it right, but not without some confusion along the way. It’s clear that running a steampunk chocolate factory is a lot harder than we initially thought, but it’s also a lot of fun. The demo gives a solid taste of what the full game might offer, even if we still have no idea how to properly temper chocolate.
We end the video with a glimpse of the customization options for packaging and a quick look at the event system that could impact future gameplay. The steampunk factory, quirky characters, and challenging mechanics make Chocolate Factory Simulator: Prologue a unique experience, blending life simulator elements with the creativity of chocolate making.
If you enjoyed this first look and want to see more when the full game releases, be sure to like, comment, and subscribe. The prologue leaves us with plenty of questions and a lot of excitement for the full release. Hopefully, by then, we’ll figure out how to temper chocolate and give Nougat some legs!
