And just a quick note. You had to run 19.69 or faster to get on the podium in Paris, which makes it one of the fastest 200m meter races.
Another interesting fact is that Noah twice set the fastest 3rd placing time in history in the last two Olympics.
Before 2021 the fastest 3rd place time for 200m was 19.80 by Ato Bolden(1996 Atlanta 200m final) and Christophe Lemaitre(2011 Daegu 200m final)
After Tokyo Noah took it to 19.74 then come Paris took it to 19.70. The only two times in history where 19.8 anything wouldn't get you in the Top 3.
@@khumokwezimashapa2245
And I vividly remembered in 2023 and this year (2024), A lot of people on Social Media were saying Stupid S**ts like:
“Oh! 19.7s won’t get you in the Podium in Budapest!”
“19.7s will not get you in the Podium in Paris Olympics.”
“I am confident that 19.6s won’t get you on the Podium this year in Budapest!”
“19.6s will not get you 4th place in Paris Olympics.”
“I think 19.6s will get you 5th place in Paris.”
“I don’t think 19.6s will get you on the podium in Paris Olympics.”
Etc. etc. etc.
But in Actuality:
Budapest 2023
19.52🥇
19.75🥈
19.81🥉
Paris 2024
19.46🥇
19.62🥈
19.70🥉
So basically, 19.6s and 19.7s will definitely get you on the Podium in The Olympic Games and World Championships. Lol.
Like, these fans needs to stop with that “19.6s and 19.7s won’t get you on the Podium” nonsense!
And I thought my predictions were crazy…?😂😂
@@Pothead888 I also remembered seeing all of these type of 200m predictions this year and last year as well in the RUclips comments of most track videos. These are very funny 200m predictions.
19.6s won’t get an athlete on the podium last and this year? Lol. Bunch of jokers.
When Wayde broke the 400m world record in Rio I jumped off my couch, ran out of my house and done a lap round the yard. Tebogo can be the one to finally go sub 43 if he runs more 400s
Quincy Wilson is doing it at LA28.
@@efisgpr He will be too old by then maybe
@@jojolords4523 QW will be 20 years old in LA28.You're probably thinking of Quincy Hall who would be 30. But even so Michael Johnson broke the 400m world record at 31 years old. Either way I see more potential in Tebogo than both Quincy's
@@efisgpr QW has the talent but I'd need to see solid sub 44 performances before saying he can break the world record. I'm not even sure he will break Steve Lewis' world junior record.
❤@@efisgpr
Tebogo-- the young man is invinsible and eats on endurance feasts. Can't wait to see him shine and shred the track in 2025!!
Every video has a "single greatest". Every video.
Gotta get the clicks🤷♂️
@@EatingThreadpretty sure most watchers will watch anyways so no need to bait
@@Stellar-Cowboy engages new people to the channel, your comment only applies to subs/track fans
also every video ends with 'there is a very big chance that is gonna break like every record' lol
Makes you want to see the single greatest video.
You do so well putting your info together. Thanks so very much.
Only sprinter current that could go close to Bolts 200m record. Only close because of his strong 200m ability 💪🏽
And Letsile Tebogo
SOUTH AFRICA 🇿🇦 BOTSWANA 🇧🇼 REPRESENT 🤜🤛
Stand Up 🙌
Tebogo has the heart and the hunger of a lion. Viva Botswana and South Africa, the lion kings!
Can't wait to see what he does come 2025!!!
I find it interesting that of the three athletes that have broken 10,20 and 44, Fred has the fastest 100PB, Michael has the fastest 200PB and Wayde has the fastest 400PB. Given that Letsile is currently the most likely athlete to be added to this list, it will be interesting to see where his PB's fall. He already has the fastest 200PB, obviously.
And he’s a class act… get it Tebogo!
Amazing running by Tebogo
Bruh Tebogo went on to run the diamond league circuit and nvr took breaks...😂
Absolute beast was Tebogo this year. 2025 were seeing a world record fall mark my words
I don't think he's gonna pressure himself to do that next year he said he's patient about it to show he's taking his time
He ran 300m WR this year.
Usain 200m WR will stand for a while...
TEBOGO CAN Win Olympic:100m, 200m, 400m!!!🥇🥇🥇
He'll no buddy, not even close.
Letsile Tebogo🇧🇼
2024 200m Olympic champion🥇🔥😎
A celebrity soccer match in 2017 effectively ended the career of Van Niekerk, the smoothest and most fluid runner I have ever seen. WTF were you thinking, Wayde?
Seems like Letsile Tebogo will be the next favorite...
Would you have relay 4x200m women poland NR 1:30.01 in potchefstroom 2024 ?
Not to mention he did all this while dealing with personal tragedy and the pressure of first time Olympics at 21 years old. He is the king of sprinting right now
Tebogo really upset the status quo this year, 2025 will be very unpredicable. The Americans are gonna have to fight for their lifes.
Hopefully u can feature an update of what happened to the following athletes and their career plans in the future: 1) wayde van niekerk, Terrance Laird, Mathew Bowling . Have their retired already? 🙏🧐
Wayde van nikerk old
He basically did what Noah Lyles was pipedreaming about. Not all gold, but top level performances in all events and hardware to boot.
The 3 times at 1:01 by each of the athletes is impressive.
Cumulatively, VN runs 72.81, MN 73.01 and FK 73.16.
But, if you consider that gaining 0.01 in 100m running sub-10 is equivalent to a gain of 0.02 in a sub-20 200m time and that 0.04 is likewise in the sub-44 400m, then the (somewhat imprecisely) corrected times cumulatively (where the 200m is divided by 2, and the 400m by 4) are FK 30.55, MN 30.5725 and VN 30.6175.
This is probably not the most accurate correction factor, because the closer your time is to the WR, the less correction that should be applied for that given time... maybe someone could plot the times and come up with a more representative time, relative to other times run in that event (and also account for the no. of different athletes setting those times, because if fewer athletes are beating the times listed above, then it likely represents a more unique/top class performance).
Regardless, incredible athletes.
Wayde is one of my ultimate favorites! ❤
Diddy would take on anyone as long as he has his trusty baby oil to slip through the air🗿
Wrong channel...

Ayo?
@@n8georgeneed cross country to end 2024 season
Indeed Tebogo was impressive this season, i think he has more potential to set new world records in 200m and 400m races. But lets wait and see what would happen
TRP found a new person to glaze that isn't Lyles or Boling. We celebrate.
😂😂
Or Jacob
Glaze? Nah, more like covering a very promising rising athlete with facts and well-researched info.
😂😂😂
New athletes has always came up with new feats. Its ok with thats since records are meant to be broken.
But my love for Wayde Van Niekerk and Usain Bolt will never change..... They are legends. ❤
No way. I believe TRP did an unintentional face reveal 2:02
He did a face reveal years back. Hell somewhere in 2020 might be the first time he showed his face during a backyard run
He also revealed himself ealier this year in one of the US college meets. I don't think he is hiding by the way, just this channel is not about his face...
He also once revealed himself during the World Indoor Championships after the 60m dash when Noah Lyles won
He's been in interviews with Justin Gatlin before come on broh
We all can ask Lyles, that 100m really put a mash on is body 🤔
Wanna see position will set ?
He could break all 3 barriers on the same day if he wanted
My favorite athlete is and always will be my GOAT WAYDE VAN NIEKERK 🔥🔥🐐
But a very close second is of course *The Legendary Super Saiyan* himself *USAIN BOLT!!!*
He's NOT consistent.
Hope he stays healthy
Tebogo
If I could change one thing about the paris olympics
It would have been tebogo out dipping rai in the fastest 400 split of all-time
🎉🎉🎉 halaala
All athletes run preliminary to get to the final now and the past.
2:33
Who is the athletes of the year 2024?
Men - Tebogo
Women - ? Kenya has 2 women running for the title
Faith Kipyegon
Is it me or does his voice sound different?
I meant his 400m ability
King David's prayer the night before a battle (Reread the 23 Psalm in Latin or Greek mythological poetic verse to get the true meaning of the entire prayer.)
"Ohhh Lord! When shall another like Nathaniel come? All the others you have sent us are Cassandras."
Yes It takes Nostradamus to tell us what we thought we saw was more than what we saw.
What I hate about athletics is my, my, my inability to recognize greatness. I saw the Americans cross the line first in the 4 x 400. My little peevish mind saw nothing else in the blazing colors, red, white, and blue.
Nostradamus sees no flags. He draps himself with none of their colors. But he does see every runner who crosses the line no matter when they cross the line in Olympic and athletics history.
That is an amazing hind sight and foresight. For that gift no runner ignores him from the first to the last. Because they all know that Nostradamus is like Nathaniel.
You know the prophet? The one who saw little David fall Goliath? (A Little Botswanan from Botswana out runs the whole world but no one knew it. That is prophetic analysis.)
Stay tuned to find out what else emerges from the unseen universe of athletics.
tebogo has a very good chance of becoming the only athlete to win the 100m, 200m, and 400m titles at the olympics. usain's legacy as the greatest sprinter of all time is truly at risk..
I do not think Mr. Bolt is worried. When this young fellow garners nine or ten gold medals over three or four Olympics and does it by strolling to the finish line then he can replace the Jamaican superstar.
@@fredhall5038 bolt is the most dominant sprinter of all time without question but tebogo has a shot at eclipsing his legacy or at least equaling it by winning these 3 titles at the olympics
Michael Johnson.....42.9 split......STILL the fastest and mosr CONSISTENT 400 meter runner.......EVER. NEXT SUBJECT
dont forget this african kid just turned 21. yet to witness his true prime. hopefully no injury.
@@joshamsalu6663 hope so
400 split on a relay doesn't count towards what an open 400 would have been.
Correct, but he also ran those 400 splits after running heats and finals for the 100 and 200.
It's STILL 400 METERS.
I'm a South African & Wayde should retire he doesn't have it anymore
he an FFL famous legend. Like those famous music acts, still filling stadiums.
The single greatest sprinting feat? come on now, stop gassing. How can it be greater than Bolts 100 and 200?
tebogo could run sub 43 400m
First to comment 😅
First💪
Face reveal???
Nope
trp face reveal..??
dopingggggggg
Knighton
hhmmmmmmmmm evry record in a month not on the olaympics something smells here
How is Tebogo winning gold a drama?
Stop being ridiculous mate.
Here’s the thing, I get a title that’s ambiguous and 3 minutes of not knowing what you’re alluding to. I knew this would happen and didn’t even listen to the first 2 minutes and fast forward. Sure enough, still didn’t get to the meat of the title. Please timestamp
I still don’t know what “no sprinter has ever done this” and I’m at 3:19 🤬🤬🤬
I’m not finishing this video
For chrissakes stop calling him "von" Niekerk. If you respect the man pronounce his name correctly. It's more correct to say it as "fen"
Are you south African? He definitely isn't saying "von"
@@mdavidom5903 Listen again, he is indeed. I've brought this to his attention on previous occasions with other videos and people from South Africa have agreed.
@@tradewins he's saying "van" not "von"...I "listened again" before commenting the first time. He says lots of names wrong, but makes an earnest effort
@@mdavidom5903 I just listened to it again. In the first 20 seconds he says VON twice. Get your ears checked.
@@tradewins hey, no need to get cross with me...I don't know what to tell you. I have listened many times now and hear "van" everytime. Not a harsh American van with a hard a, but how the vowel actually is supposed to sound in this name like "vun"...only issue with his pronunciation is the v should be more of an f sound. Like you said. Sheesh, get ur blood pressure checked? 😂😂
Bet money he is cheating
Knighton is the cheat
..i predict this year,Fred Kerley or Omanyala will break a 100m world record with a time of 9.08s!!watch out guy!!😅😅
