His death in License To Kill by the electric eels was always so funny to me back in the day!!!!! He definitely deserved a Academy award for Fear & Loathing over Johnny Depps character only because Del Toros real life based character was already long dead unlike JD who had his character (Hunter S Thompson) actually there for JD to learn from in the flesh & they became a very close friends to eachother afterwards but I'm glad Benicio did get a Oscar for Traffic which was well deserved in my eyes & I loved him in Savages also & ofcourse the Sicario films by far his most famous role but my favorite film of his will always be The Way Of The Gun 👍
The thumbnail alone will tell you that BDT is a chameleon actor. He makes mediocre films like excess baggage, savages, and escobar: paradise lost watchable just by being in the movie.
