Can't Spell Treason Without Tea is so good! I read it when it first released as an indie published book! It's so fun! More action than some other cozy fantasies but really enjoyable! There is a second book as well that is also really good.

I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on Grave Reservations. I bought upon release and I almost DNF’d it. I would have if I hadn’t paid full hardcover price for it. The lead in the book was just too ridiculous for me and not in a quirky way. She was her own biggest obstacle in the book.
Oh no! I'll have to see how it goes. That can definitely be a problem if the main character is too over the top.

I LOVE it and I'm not usually a supernatural cozy gal, but it's just enough. Plus, Odessa is a very empathetic character which I love.
Maddy Day/Edith Maxwell lives 30 min from me in Massachusetts. I met her last summer at a recycle/reuse festival at a textile museum. She had a group of women there with her. Edith is an elegant, kind woman! I saw a whole bunch of the country store mysteries and whispered to my boyfriend, “Follow me, there are brand new cozy mysteries by an author I love over there”. lol Edith was nearby and said how much are the Maddy Day books? She said $1. I said who would donate those brand new? It’s an amazing series. She said, I’m the author. I was in disbelief and practically in tears. I did get a cool for photo!

I just got the new Lauren Elliott book, A limited edition mystery and am so excited to start it in a few minutes that I’m nervous. She was my first cozy author and the gateway. I think most of us hold a special place in our bookshelves for the first cozy author we read. She’s also my favorite cozy writer!

I have By Book or By Crook and Murder in Cape Cod, but haven’t read either. I just finished two psychological thrillers, The Housemaid and The
Housemaids Secret, both by Freida McFadden. They were very good with unexpected twists and turns.

I got All The Forgiveness by Elizabeth Hardinger and a non fiction true crime book called Chase Darkness with me by Billy Jenson! He is a true crime writer and started actually solving murders! It sounds so good!
You got so many great cozies! This is the perfect time for the Seaside Cafe series. Tide and Punishment is fantastic. I love the Cozy Caper series by Maddie Day. The African Gray Parrot Belle is the best. The audiobook narrator does a great job bringing Belle to life. I need to try the Lighthouse Library series and you're right this is the perfect time to read it. I love the Lakeside Library series. The third book was my favorite in the series so I hope there is another book soon. I love Murder By The Seashore (just read it this month) and this is the perfect time to read it. I would love to see a bookish cozy book vlog! I hope you love all of the books you hauled and I can't wait to hear what you think of them!

Final Girls is my least favorite Riley Sager. It sort of drug along. I was also not a fan of Not A Happy Family. I'm interested to hear your thoughts!

I have a question how do you feel about cussing in cozy mysteries? It's ok a little I guess but it does seem weird in a cosy to me 😁
I love library sales, but now that I moved by a retirement community, the options are not great. A lot of political autobiographical books and the like. Plus the re-sellers with wagons that line up early. 😔
