I have the arc as well! Full disclosure: cozy mystery has been hit or miss to me...I actually wasn't a huge fan of the Finlay Donovan series but I've liked others! So I'm intrigued to see where I'll end up with this one! 🌸

Wow so many books! I don’t think I could buy that many in one month lol. Can’t afford it. But I hope you love them all! I highly recommend Heartless Hunter and The Liar’s Crown. They were 5 stars for me.

Blades of Secrets is one of my favorites. I love the Tiger series by Colleen Houck. The Final book is by far the best, but I flew through and really enjoyed the whole series. Great haul.
Tricia Levenseller just knows the way I love my writing! Can't wait to explore more of her books! 📖 Tiger's Curse comes with so many high recommendations that maybe I need to move it up on my priority list! 🐯

Got some great recommendations. The ones I find intriguing to check out are Fairy Tale by: Stephen King, Every Time I go on vacation someone dies, Your Blood My Bones, Honey Witch, Ready or Not, A Curse of Blood and Wolves, I'm Afraid You've Got Dragons, and The Lies of Locke Lamora. For Mother's Day I got a new camera and 2 new books. I got Happy Place by: Emily Henry and Chain of Thorns by: Cassandra Clare. Happy Birthday & Mother's Day! 🛍

My first Stephen King was The Shining. Honestly, though, I read NOS4A2 by Joe Hill first. Joe Hill is Stephen King's son. When I liked NOS4A2 and learned they were related, I decided to try King. So far, I've read The Shining, Misery, and 11/22/63 in that order. 11/22/63 has been my favorite.
I've heard great things about 11/22/63! It's on my kindle! 💙

I thought the SAME thing about When the Moon Hatched...read the Goodreads synopsis. My husband thought the same thing when he saw it though...he couldn't believe how thick it was, but I couldn't resist the beauty of it 😍

I absolutely loved the Good Girl's Guide series, as we've discussed before, but i hated Five Surivie. The reason people disliked Good Girl #3 just shined through Five Survive so I have vowed to read Reappearance and give Holly one last try. If i like the book I'll continue reading her. If not, then i will mourn my wounds and move on 😊
If that's the case, I think I may be right there with you, girl! I may just have to accept that her writing is just not for me 😞
I'm reading Darling Girls right now - I love Sally Hepworth's suspense/family drama books (don't go into her books expecting big thrillery action - they're mismarketed). They're quick reads and have very satisfyingly awful characters lol.
Would you classify her books more like Suspense... Like Mary Higgins Clark/Nora Roberts etc... I've been trying to find authors similar to MHC.
@@Rainydayscozyreads it’s been a while since I read a MHC book so I can’t compare accurately. If you like books that have messed up families and murder and slow-burn suspense, give it a try!

I dont really read thrillers anymore..i like Mary Higgins Clark books....(Suspense).... But i LOVE Cozy Mysteries. ❤ Im starting to get into fantasy though (back into fantasy actually, i guess?)
If you want a cozy mystery rec. I love the Hannah Swensen series by Joanne Fluke.
I don't have maaaaany cozy mystery recs, but if you're looking for cozy fantasy, have you read Legends & Lattes by Travis Baldree yet?! Very cozy & low stakes! ☕️

I just had a person tell me that you should read all the Stephan king books in publication order. Because I should have read the billy sanders trilogy before reading the outsider

I read The Outsider without knowing that it was related to the Bill Hodges books. I still really enjoyed it. I've only recently started reading his books in publication order. I'm not rereading anything I've read before though. There are so many Stephen King books at this point so I think just picking and choosing whatever books of his you're interested in is where people should start.
So are all/most of his series interconnected in some way!? Oh geez, now I'm going to go down a Stephen King reading order rabbit hole 🕳️😂
@@sheisbookedandbusy As far as I know there are some Easter eggs in some books but not a lot of series. Years ago I just read what I wanted. I appreciate his books more now than I did because he's very long winded about the character back stories. Read some that interest you the most because you may not enjoy his writing style. I'm only doing publication order now because people talk about it now. A lot of average books for me. I'm preferring new authors of horror more, especially female writers. Based on your reading tastes you may not like his writing at all and that's okay. I work with an avid reader (250-300 books a year) and he thinks King is way over hyped. Lol
