- This model was fun to make, and had some challenges I wasn't expecting - her tail spines, and head spines, to be exact. But it was a fun challenge, and Deadly Nadders are in my top 10 favorite dragons from HTTYD, so I'm happy with the end result.
Donations for my channel are welcome, but certainly not required! This model is free to download on my Ko-fi shop: ko-fi.com/s/68...

Can you one day do the Stormcutter?
Yipee so early to the video
did you retopologize it? (im guessing you did) and if so how did you do it? do you have any method for it any addons or tecgniques ? i am really not good at retopologising and would like a few tips if you would like share
I don't actually retopologize, if I can avoid it. My usual process is to make the low-poly version of the model first, and then duplicate it. I add a Multiresolution modifier to the duplicated model, and sculpt on that, and then UV map the low-poly version, and bake a normal map and a cavity map from the Multires sculpted model. That way, there is no need to retop the sculpt, since I had saved the low-poly version of the model already. I hope that all makes sense.
If you have a model that needs to be retopped, the process is slow but not too difficult. I tend to use a Skrinkwrap modifier whenever I have to retop a model, and that seems to make the process easier. You may email me if you have any more questions: fulonimation@gmail.com
thank you for the answer ill have to try with my next model, i may or may comment on this one depending on how it goes :]

I have a question that lingered on my mind for a bit now.
I've seen that you have pre-made some poses. How'd you do that? And is it downloadable?
The pose presets are included in the model file, under "pose library" in the armature data properties tab. But if you're using a newer version of Blender than me (I use 3.1.2), then the library might have been moved to another location.
@fulonimationstudios2408 I have a newer version and found the pose library, but it's empty. There's nothing in it.
Maybe it's outdated? I can't find your blender version either. (I have blender on Steam)
@@SarahFrostFox6667 That's odd. There's no reason for the poses to be missing from the model file. Have you checked any of my other models, to see if the pose library has my presets for them?
I think Blender 4.0 did move the pose library, but I don't know where. Checking the Blender reference manual might help.
@fulonimationstudios2408 found it :) You have to set the animation to the animation library and then click on the convert from the legacy library.
The poses are invisible, but if the names are turned on, it's readable what pose it what.
Took me a while to figure it out ive switched the versions to kinda compare and figure out where the poses are 😅
@@SarahFrostFox6667 Oh, that makes sense. Sorry for the complications, but I'm glad you figured it out!
