you nailed it. holy moley. idk how this cover is the best ive heard in all my years of instinctually clicking on "Diary of jane" covers, but im just feeling this one, its just spot on. so fluid, the solo notes are hit and held so perfect, the tone is rich and crisp. i cant fathom how im feeling this way about a cover after all of these years.
@@andrew-ky9yz hi! first of all thank you for such a lovely comment, suprised to see so many words here :D a few weeks ago YT algorithm brought me a cover of Diary by @JessWoess, you have to check it! Of course, it is a professional one, cool angle views, audio edit an mixing, etc. But what about me, I just wanted to challenge myself to play that song in one take from start to the end without cutting anything. I have no such a good skills like others, but at least I play it as hobby for myself, i like it. It took several days to learn some parts and several attempts in one evening to make that video online 😀
Also drop A# is not my primary tuning for an electric guitar. Just had some experiments with 12-60 calibre. Usually using 9-46 for standart or drop D as well.
Dang. Spot on. Well done!! GLoved being able to hear your guitar just a bit more than the original mix, nice to really breakdown the guitar melody as compared to the studio mix. Thanks for sharing.
