- How to make laundry bar soap.
This recipe gives you a beautiful yellow golden colour , is made from only Red palm oil and the oil is unbleached.
The recipe is below
Red oil 500g l
Stearic 88 g
Caustic 84
Water 196
Alcohol 500g
Glycerin 250
Sugar 200g
Follow the procedure above to achieve this colour in soap.
U may choose to add other foaming boosters like SLS

You can use liquid stearic acid.
I have not used silicate for gel soaps ever. You could try with a small batch and try it out. ❤

This is beautiful, I love it♥️, please when you wash with the soap, did it stain? considering oil was not Bleached. And did it foam? Can it serve as Laundry barsoap?
Like i said in the beginning it was an experiment. So dont try it. It stains and dosent foam. Bleaching the oil would have made if foam and not to stain cloth.

I think is not only for laundry ,you can use for your body ,is the same formulation forsoap base
What lye you use KOH or NaOH ?
What quanty was red oil,lye and water?please state it.I tried this process but the recipe didnt reach trace

This is hot process, the temperature is irrelevant. So immediately lye disolve use it. Cooking of hot process hasten ur soap to saponify quickly

Unbleached red oil produces a soap that does not lather. So u need to bleach your palm before production

Calcium carbonate is white. It act as a filler . It dosent make soap strong. Is just gives weight. Stearic acid make soap harden . Is a type of fatty acid

Pls why did you add so much sugar
Sugar helps in transparency in soaps. And should be used at 100% of oil weight if u are making pure colourlrs transparent soap.
In this case i needed to achieve translucency so i used less than 50% (around 40% of my oil weight) to clear my soap. Sugar was highly needed as it helps ur soap lather velvety and sillky . And u know unbleached palm oil does not lather. From the beginning of this video I mentioned it was a test from someone to make red oil 100% soaper. As a soaper u have to think deep how u can make the soap soapy while still maintaining a great aesthetics

@@yussufabiola3896 sls will do. Or sulphonic. If u had bleached the palm red oil it would have lathered 🧼

You could stick to the method u know for achieving a gel soap. Note this is a gel soap production
