I agree with what you're saying, But Jesus Christ if the sound its making is just a preview at the beginning then it just shows how powerful of a VST it really is.
@Jamz Añove The built-in soundcard in your computer might not have a great D/A converter. You'll probably need to buy yourself a good audio interface to hook up to your computer
this is the deal with spectrasonics: they make great vst, some have been the best on the market, and for a long time. the downside is the loading time, and it gets a lot worse with multilayered, heavily modified and fx'd patches.

Paradoxical Vibes no the opposite, sorry. Nord’s piano collection is some of the best piano samples I’ve ever heard. Keyscape’s samples are good, don’t get me wrong, but the sounds sound kind of thing and, after a while, definitely sound artificial. However I do use it for mobile setups and have it as an underlay recording midi when recording audio from my Nord. Albeit, if you’re looking for just piano stuff and for the Nord series, I’d just avoid the Stage and look into the Piano/Grand stuff. The Stage is great if you’re doing shows but the NP/NG are better in terms of just piano/EP
@@dmackiii5534 Everyone here is giving you polarized answers. I've played Nords and I own Keyscape. They both sound amazing, and that's coming from someone who harshly criticizes most keyboards and vsts with a zealous love for the real deal. I can't stand Roland's pianos for example. They sound so clearly synthesized (which they are). Nord is one of the only hardware keyboards that comes close for me. Keyscape is worth it just for the grand alone imo. It's not as bright as a Nord, but the mellow sound of it, especially on the bass end, has the most glorious harmonic richness I've ever heard from a keyboard or vst. Of course Nords can get mellow too, and I'd say they have more punch and more pianos to choose from. What I particularly like with Nords is the short reverb trail you get after each note that mimics the resonance of a grand piano. It really makes it come alive as if I'm in a room with it. Nord also has sympathetic resonance and pedal down samples which some high end keyboards still don't have (which boggles me). Keyscape I know has pedal down samples because you can hear the difference. I would assume it also has string resonance although I haven't paid attention to whether it does or not. Either way, it has a real fullness of sound. So I guess my point is, I think you'd be happy with either. But whether you prefer brighter or mellower pianos may affect what you buy.
It sounds amazing!. Once I played on a real steinway D Grand Piano, but even if it is the best Grand Piano in the world and it really sounded insanely good it didnt sound as good as the la custom grand from keyscape. In my opinion keyscape is even better than the sampled pianos from native instruments, even if they have insanely good libarys. Keyscapes LA Custom grand just has that special something that makes it sound so insanely good, and you can really hear the developers really cared to make a great product.

Thank you for posting these demos of Keyscape. I'm enjoying Keyscape myself. When depressing a note on some virtual pianos, one can press the key slowly enough, it will not make any noise, like a real piano. This does not seem to be the case with Keyscape. Am I missing a setting or something?
