Hey man! Loving these videos. I’m new back to skating after 22 years when it was huge in the 90’s. Dropped in the other day, managed it but stacked it a few times, trying to get the hand of the spine ramps. Thanks for these videos, really decent to watch and follow
Crazy that you opened up with qi-gong the internal strength... I studied kung fu most of my adult life and skated off and on during that..it wasnt untill one day that the senior student and i were hanging out after class.. N went to a skate park around the corner from my house that he pointed out not only do alot of the grinds resemble almost mirror alot of the stances we practice...and it wasnt untill later that i realized how much the movments but state of mind are so similar to it... If only in my youth did i make those connections...bad habbits are harder to break than it is to learn from the beginning... You sir are the man for putting out tge content you do ... Keep on man ✊
Thanks, another awesome video as always! Everybody, being athletic for blading is an awesome advantage, not only for your jumps and grinds, full body workouts will help you be stronger and will allow your face to stay away from the floor.
Made my review on the AEON 80s and was happy to find this clip. Really great advice in a period when most skaters think their options are limited indoors. Be safe, fam!
Since watching this I've actually been able to get bk in to the ramp from really low tricks like makios, could never lift my weight bk in, keep up the good work pal
Awesome video guys! Wonderful to see you back and giving great value as always! My vote is HECK YEAH for the fitness channel. Love to see your fitness habits and routines! You guys keep safe and healthy over there. Much love! #Unity #1MD 🙏🤙
Great video! Thanks for the good tips. Before i could back sav i would teach my body n mind to do the trick on flat ground without skates. I got my wife some K2 80mm fitness skates and she's tuning in to your channel now too. Keep up the awesome work my friend!! Looking forward to your future endeavors and can't wait for the wheels to ship! So stoked!!
Hey man, great video.. i love your approach with the physical aspects of 'skate chi' and balancing in grind positions...i tried to discuss thing like this with some pro skaters i know but i received snobbish responses like i was talking an alien language.... im glad a great skater like yourself understands and practices these things
First and foremost I love your videos! Over the past two months I've been getting back into blading after a 13 year hiatus. I would be really interested in a fitness program or a blading incorporated fitness channel. Let me know if have created one or have any suggestions.
i do those "blade chi" on a balance board, pretty challengin and a very good improvement for your balance edit: i just build an diy balanceboard with an 3l colabottle for 0,99€ filled in with water and an old trashy skateboard deck i had layin around
Depends the grind For example if you are going to soul grind in a ledge to your right (using the soulplate with your right foot) Aproach with left foot in front But if you are going to do a Pornstar grind (same, soulplate foot with the right) Aproach with your right foot in front
Hi Josh! Thanks for all these tips: Trying Tricks switch and practicing my stability on a p-rail in the basement has really helped me. Here's a special thank you: ruclips.net/video/sPUEOxGicNg/видео.html

Nice that sounds fun!
When skating are you right foot forward or left? if so when grinding do I approach the grind with my main foot forward ?
Depends the grind
For example if you are going to soul grind in a ledge to your right (using the soulplate with your right foot)
Aproach with left foot in front
But if you are going to do a Pornstar grind (same, soulplate foot with the right)

Tried tip #2, skating like Broskow and broke my neck.
