Thanks for your comment, I sooo appreciate it!! I'm curious to see this series develop. So far, I'm not getting the instant results I was hoping for 😔 But that's good! This is what happens a lot with clients and just plain ol' business owners trying to DIY their SEO. I'm thinking the next video will be a deep dive on creating content for humans that is still SEO-optimized 👍 Then I'll be two weeks in, so I'll be able to look at the data and see where I should go next... Stay tuned!!

I'm glad you liked it! This was actually off the cuff as a sort of celebration for my channel turning one year old this past week 🤓 It's good to pace SEO efforts.
So my plan is to do some work on the actual content over the next couple days - don't forget that content is the absolute backbone to your SEO efforts. Then I'll make a new video where I breakdown what I did, *why* I did it, and then show the changes.
The next week I'll likely be looking for off-page SEO tactics and competitive research. I think this is going to be a really fun series - I hope you enjoy it!!

Do you recommend using an SEO plugin and what do you prefer about Yoast as opposed to others?
If you’re using WordPress (that’s my preferred tool), I don’t just recommend using an SEO plugin - I think EVERYBODY should be using one. Yoast is an excellent starting point, as there is so much out there for it. I currently use SEOPress Pro, but they just upped their price 😬 Do you think I should post a video about some ideal settings for SEO plugins? 🤔
Absolutely. I actually checked to see if you already had a video on SEO plugins. I think it would be a huge help, since the SEO plugin is such an important part of setting up SEO on any website. Especially if you did one specifically for Yoast or whatever plugin you recommend. I've always used the free version of Yoast, but would love to hear your opinion about it.

I’m not 100% sure what you’re asking. I’m guessing you’re asking if a freelancer can register a GMB/GBP for a client. Yes! However, I have my clients do the first few steps, and then I have them add me as a Manager. @@Local-Seo-Nerd I don't target a lot of informational intent keywords - that's the beauty of local SEO. I can talk about how I leverage AI to create service pages and service area pages.
