Yes, this is the difference I’ve observed between some of Western aviation RUclipsrs and him. They almost feel entitled to take video. Yeah, it’s not illegal to take videos but it’s not exactly civil if others are uncomfortable with it. That leads to small back and forth with the crew and then they label the crew as unwelcoming and unfriendly.
I flew Air India in June. Agree with your reviews. I had low expectations at first, but my impression changed with their dedicated inflight service. The crew were very attentive. Thanks for your videos, I enjoy watching them. I am also an airline enthusiast.

Yes after TATA got back it's child Air india .....It's getting better everyday....we hope air india come under top 10 airlines in world ,TATA is working very hard to get air india fixed as soon as possible.....after its take over.....and hope air india and vistara merge together to become the best of best in india and in the world

Vistara is the best among domestic Indian airlines. Because it’s directly managed by Tata Group and not some government ministry. We Indians ourselves avoid flying Air India domestically and prefer other private airlines like Vistara, Indigo, SpiceJet.
Most positive review I ever seen on Air India. And it looked like a really good flight. Never booked with them because of the 2-2-2 configuration since I mostly travel alone. But after this I might do it sometime. Great video as usual.

Air India domestic is crap. Air India international has a lot of great service. Hopfully now that its privatized. Tata will bring in the same discipline they have in Vistara Airlines for domestic market

Yes quite impressed by the marked improvement in service. Hope it is applied to all flights. If Air India can refurbish and order new aircraft with 1-2-1 configuration in Business and with Tata at the helm things will surely improve
Credit goes to Tata for improving the service and food....Air India will be back in top again, my first flight from India to Hong Kong was Air India in year 2005 so I will not forget them and hope to travel once again soon....
I have travelled with in Air India 15-16 times since 2011, barring 2 incidents where it was delayed by 30-60 mins, it was on time and experience was good. Food has always been delicious and crew is amongst the most experienced & friendly. I never understood why it has such bad reputation.
Bro just don’t be an emotional patriot, air India needs a hell lot of improvements in the quality and interiors of their planes and even the quality of their food , just be a it’s an Indian company we don’t have to be that fool patriot.

I have flown Air India on few occasions.. and It has always been great . Actually in 2012 the Toronto To Delhi flight I was on, landed an hour and half before time … never any issues compared to many other Airlines
I had a horrible flight in air india from San Francisco to Delhi and then Mumbai. The plane was all yellow ish and it smelled like shit! The seats were uncomfy and very few options of movies and TV shows to watch. It was a 20 hr flight. The food had little to no taste at all. I'm never travelling through air india again. I went to San Francisco through Singapore airlines and the staff treated us as if we were flying through business class. The plane was so clean and tidy! And the fragrance was so good. The take off and landing was smooth and i didn't even realise when we landed. The view from my seat window was marvellous. I had an amazing time on-board the flight. Hats off to those guys
The two meals looked really sumptuous! TFK did a good job indeed. 👍 You were also very lucky to get such terrific views of the various airports as well as Mount Fuji from 30,000 ft above ground! 👏 I guess the 'down' side of this flight was the non-provision of lounge. While I do understand that the contracted lounge(s) may not have resumed services, Air India could have at least given you a meal voucher. 🍪☕️ Anyway, another splendid review from you. @@JangsuAviation My JAL flights were terrific on both legs - B767 and B777. The Sky Suite on the B777 is really amazing. Very private and comfortable. The service from the crew was also exemplary. Last but not the least, the catering was top-notch. Love the Japanese meals served. 😃

Thanks for sharing the video. Always like to see people having a positive experience in the airline of the country of my origin. That said, there were some things that caught my eye. First, the safety announcements seemed to be continuing even during the takeoff run. This would be a serious safety violation in many places. All announcements must be completed before takeoff so the passengers know what to do if there is an incident. Second, one of the dishes in the main meal was served in a foil cup. Please Air India! No foil cups in business class! It should be either bone china or nothing. However, Air India does seem to be improving under the Tatas, and that's a good sign

Because Air India played safe video twice. The first one was in Hindi language. The second one was in English.
When this airline was run by the government, there were a lot of inconsistencies. But after the TATA group takeover, Air India is moving in the right direction.
Air India was recently Bought By Tata Group and it will be modernized completely in the coming years.... The Tata Group is known for its world-class hospitality group TAJ Hotels Group.... So please try the airline in another 6 months 1 year to see the difference.... The Food comes from their own TAJ SATS which is one of the largest Food caterers for the airline industry Thanks

I travel with Air India while I was traveling to South Africa. It was absolutely value for money in my perspective. Comfort, Food, Onboard Crew etc. was very good. Heard few rumors but if anyone don't just compare and choose Air India in open mind they will experience what they are actually providing. Even airindia domestic flights are also very nice. Economic price, complimentary meal and these are far far better than other airlines food. Legroom also good. 👍
Before Pandemic, Air India business class passengers were sent to China Airlines' Lounge. It's weird that AI is the only Star Alliance carrier at NRT not departing from their hub T1, but T2 🙄. Similarly, China Airlines is the only Sky Team carrier also departing from T2 and not their hub T1. As some who frequently flies between Delhi and Tokyo, thanks so much for uploading this video! I've always been curious to try out their business class, especially after being privatized.
Thank you very much, Hiroさん. Before this flight, I had three options(ANA, JAL, and Air India) for my flight to Delhi. I love ANA and JAL, but I chose Air India this time for my first experience of AIr India Business Class. The cabin crew were friendly, the food was good. I think after TATA takeover, they are improving their service. :) By the way, I also think it's weird that Air India use Terminal 2, not Terminal 1.. Hope Air India can use T1 at Narita soon.
People don't accept it but India and Indians are not considered on par with west...even in Asia. All have colonial stink and discriminate. There was a time flights from Europe to India used to take off from crappy gates with no toilets around and with old, rickety aircraft.
Big changes gonna come in air india as it's back to it's old owners ( TATA group) which also have VISTARA, GO AIR , and one regional airline. The news is they might combine all these different airline into one big airline.
Great video! I fly to India a lot. Always avoided Air India - flown domestic but never long haul - mainly due to the fact they used to have a lot of strikes and delays. But as an aviation nerd I've always wanted to experience it as sometimes the bad can be as fun as the good! This looks like a really nice flight. Indian hospitality is ledgedary and this crew seems to live up to it. People I meet says some of the best food they have ever eaten is on Air India. Makes sense as loosing your taste buds at 38,000 feet it must be the only food that has any taste!!

I am from india, i think air india needs to change their catering service as "the bhindi" you had eaten is some thing like daily meal of indians(north) and that many people even don't like it at all, hope new air india will change this..
Air India is pretty good on it's level. But if you're really looking for a luxurious treatment. I suggest you try "Vistara", That is a signature Indian luxury. 👌🏻 Loved this video and made me hungry. 🥺

@@JangsuAviation Jangu air india was the best airline in the world probably long before Korea even had an airport when it was run by tata group who is big like Samsung. It’s only 2-3 years from being the best again. The old government ruined it but tata is back and it will regain its spot as the best in the world and also nobody will come close. This i guarantee you. Tata runs the best hotels in the world called taj group. They know luxury better than any other airline as they train the best in their programs. Review the airline after 2-3 years. It’s not the new CEO rather its a the board. Tata runs over 100 companies from tea to salt to jaguar to Land Rover to software to heavy trucks to 4 airlines now.
I have flown in Air India in 2010, 2016 and 2021. The food was always delicious. But had other negatives like long delay and less leg room. But delicious food.

This Korean or Japanese (I don’t know) attitude of bending the heads for thanks is astounding.. Shows real respect.. It was followed in India but I don’t know now because of westernisation, people say ‘yo thanks’…lol

I travel with Air India while I was traveling to South Africa. It was absolutely value for money in my perspective. Comfort, Food, Onboard Crew etc. was very good. Heard few rumors but if anyone don't just compare and choose Air India in open mind they will experience what they are actually providing.

Even airindia domestic flights are also very nice. Economic price, complimentary meal and these are far far better than other airlines food. Legroom also good. 👍
True. When u compare with indigo or any other current airline except Vistara, AI is far better in domestic sector also.
Before Pandemic, Air India business class passengers were sent to China Airlines' Lounge. It's weird that AI is the only Star Alliance carrier at NRT not departing from their hub T1, but T2 🙄. Similarly, China Airlines is the only Sky Team carrier also departing from T2 and not their hub T1.

I love ANA and JAL, but I chose Air India this time for my first experience of AIr India Business Class. The cabin crew were friendly, the food was good. I think after TATA takeover, they are improving their service. :)
By the way, I also think it's weird that Air India use Terminal 2, not Terminal 1.. Hope Air India can use T1 at Narita soon.
People don't accept it but India and Indians are not considered on par with west...even in Asia. All have colonial stink and discriminate. There was a time flights from Europe to India used to take off from crappy gates with no toilets around and with old, rickety aircraft.

Big changes gonna come in air india as it's back to it's old owners ( TATA group) which also have VISTARA, GO AIR , and one regional airline. The news is they might combine all these different airline into one big airline.
Just today the news came. Merger to complete by March 2024.
GO Air is different. It is Air Asia apart from Vistara n Air India which TATA owns. And that regional airline is Alliance Air.
Great video! I fly to India a lot. Always avoided Air India - flown domestic but never long haul - mainly due to the fact they used to have a lot of strikes and delays. But as an aviation nerd I've always wanted to experience it as sometimes the bad can be as fun as the good! This looks like a really nice flight. Indian hospitality is ledgedary and this crew seems to live up to it. People I meet says some of the best food they have ever eaten is on Air India. Makes sense as loosing your taste buds at 38,000 feet it must be the only food that has any taste!!
Ntg can be more pleasing than looking air india grow.......as a follower of tata sons I was soo happy that airindia is back to its owner the decision made in 2021 to take over Air India by tata sons made many indians happy

이번 영상도 봐주셔서 감사합니다. :) 지난 달에 에어인디아를 3번 이용했는데, 2번은 괜찮았고 1번은 아쉬웠습니다. 출발 공항에 따라 케이터링 서비스에서 아쉬움이 느껴졌습니다. 에어인디아가 타타그룹에 인수된 뒤 CEO를 교체하고 점차 개선되고 있지만, 아직은 개선될 부분도 많이 보입니다. 하지만 인도의 항공 산업이 빠르게 성장하며 개선되고 있어서, 추후 더 좋은 항공사로 성장할 잠재력이 충분이 있다고 생각됩니다.
Air India is now a private Airline owned by prestigious Tata Group so yes there are lots of improvements and will be more improvements in future.
@@JangsuAviation Jangu air india was the best airline in the world probably long before Korea even had an airport when it was run by tata group who is big like Samsung. It’s only 2-3 years from being the best again. The old government ruined it but tata is back and it will regain its spot as the best in the world and also nobody will come close. This i guarantee you. Tata runs the best hotels in the world called taj group. They know luxury better than any other airline as they train the best in their programs. Review the airline after 2-3 years. It’s not the new CEO rather its a the board. Tata runs over 100 companies from tea to salt to jaguar to Land Rover to software to heavy trucks to 4 airlines now.

I have flown in Air India in 2010, 2016 and 2021. The food was always delicious. But had other negatives like long delay and less leg room. But delicious food.

I think some airlines such as Singapore Airlines and Air India provides unpeeled fruits..
