It was so clean and powerful...if the cage wasn't there, Seksan would have hit the canvas too. You could see he was rattled while he was waiting for Liam to get up.

A tip on elbowing: You should never aim your opponent’s eyes because there is a chance that it could cause blindness. Many Thais and I are concerned about this after seeing a UFC fighter elbow his opponent and told a reporter that he learned it from superlek… The human eyelid is just a thin layer of skin. If you elbow the eyelid, it is likely that the eyeball will pop out of its socket due to the force of the body. This actually happened to me when I was a teenager. Two of my friends got into a fight and one of them got injured and had to wear eye protection for almost a year… Muay Thai is a very old form of combat. Some techniques, even though not illegal, can seriously injure fellow fighters and even ruin their careers… To anyone who reads my message and chooses to follow the path of a fighter, I hope you will be a good fighter and have a high spirit. Awesome it was a packed house. usually on tv its so dark i dont get to see the audience. love how there is little turn around between the fights. with UFC you have to wait hella long. Seksan vs harrison was ridiculous and Superlek showed his greatness once again.

In terms of technical fighting, IMO, One has the best fighters. Now, having said that, I think they are running low on new blood. I think more scouting around the camps are in order to keep the event electrifying.
I would say they house the most elite strikers. I like one more than ufc but one lacks good matchmaking and just overall organization. need by more insync with their fighters. Seems like many get left out to dry
ONE Friday Fights is the place for finding that new blood, also we have some external circuit linked to ONE like Lumpinee World Champions or Fairtex Fight as a second step for fighter to get ready to ONE atmosphere (akin to DWCS for UFC), we also have a regional Muay Thai event that support by ONE for finding that raw gem. Chatri also donated some money to help little Muay Thai camps around Thailand to produce fighters.
As a Thai, not expertised and watching sometimes some TV programs of Asian martial fights. This fight of Haggerty vs SPL was like other INTL boxing that a Bristish fighter's coachs/trianers should have a plan, learn/solve and watch their past vids Haggerty's last failed bc of crossing elbowing moment by a same Thai person, This is a 2 nd time, I'd not say that this a rix match but all foreign fighters or even local Thai fighters have skilled and learnt many exp for long years not be easily failed of such event.
@@taaek3234 seems to me, UFC fighters nowadays are playing it safe by mostly scoring points to win a fight. The co/main event was almost like watching a slow-motion fight.

To be fair, Chris was not intentionally targeting the eye when he threw that elbow. In the mix of the fight it just happened to land there
