I have a Revo 3.3 nitro truck I got about six years ago. I've had a great experience with that thing. The lower reliability of the nitro drivetrain put a little bit of a damper on the fun, since there was a lot of stress and no guarantees I'd be able to run it every weekend. Hi Greg. I'm Rich, and i live in Muskegon, Mi. I am a newby to rc's, and i have a question about fms upgrades. I have the 1974 Chevrolet K10 1/18 scale. I have watched, and listened to RUclips to you, RC Athletes, RC Sparks, and Exocaged to name a few for upgrades to no avail. When you upgrade a vehicle, how do you know what will, and what won't work when you want to upgrade a truck you don't know anything about. I have asked a few hobby shops here in W. Mi., they don't know. I have contacted fms also, and they said they do have upgrades, but wanted me to upload pictures of the parts. So i did, two of the under carriage, and one under the hood. I haven't heard a word one from them. Any suggestions about upgrades for my truck?
I literally, off ice dropped mine in a pond, chased it down got it washed out dried out and still works I recommend belted tires though in the snow Yesterday I ripped my front tire, I guess the tires don't like high speed spinning on snow and the rocky drive way, Temps made them a Lil fragile
Keep up the great work Greg, I’m saving for a Maxx but in the mean time I’m building a 6s mt. What are the pros and cons of the mxl6 esc from the revo ? Anyone have any experience with it
Love my XMAXX 8S, It’s a BEAST and a blast to drive. It’s surprising how agile it is for such a big truck. Glad to see you have one now. I want to see what you think about the Wide XMAXX Kit.
I kinda want one of these, but between the entry price of $1000 plus $200 for the wide-maxx kit plus another couple hundred for batteries, it turns into a $1500 proposition. Then there are all the parts I've heard that break even when you don't launch them 30' into the air. I wish Arrma would make a competitor to this monster.

Any suggestions about upgrades for my truck?
where is this track at?
Nice track
Love my XMaxx
Sounds like they will bring out an actual Wide-X-Maxx if they have released a wide kit upgrade for the standard x-maxx
Nice video,no crazy stuff, just out the box fun run. Way off my budget I'm afraid, might have to rob my pension funds.😱😱
I literally, off ice dropped mine in a pond, chased it down got it washed out dried out and still works I recommend belted tires though in the snow
Yesterday I ripped my front tire, I guess the tires don't like high speed spinning on snow and the rocky drive way, Temps made them a Lil fragile
You should do a widemaxx kit installation video
Keep up the great work Greg,
I’m saving for a Maxx but in the mean time I’m building a 6s mt.
What are the pros and cons of the mxl6 esc from the revo ? Anyone have any experience with it
Mxl6s ESC is the best esc traxxas ever made. It's actually a castle esc with trax rebranding
How close would you compare the xmaxx vs maxx v2 besides size difference? Do they drive similar or have similar handling?
i've been debating about getting one of these for years.
Me too lol I bought a maxx to hold me over
Love my XMAXX 8S, It’s a BEAST and a blast to drive. It’s surprising how agile it is for such a big truck. Glad to see you have one now. I want to see what you think about the Wide XMAXX Kit.
I loved my xmaxx miss it now !! Need to get another one been trying to trade my black edition erevo 2.0 for one for a month plenty of mods !!
how dos it always land on it's wheels???
Throw some belted Duratex tires on that bad boy. The difference in traction is incredible.
One of the best trucks Trx has ever made !!! Always wanted to ask you , what do you do with all the RC's you' review / test / build ??? You still have all of them ???
I broke my xmaxx drive shaft its rear wheel drive SMH any tips
I love my X-Maxx, that rubber piece is is a filler piece that goes between the rear Skid and bulkhead of you take off the wheelie bar. Awesome video can't wait to see your take on the wide Maxx kit. Keep 'em coming! 🤘🤘
What is your view on the new widekit for the Xmaxx,? And as always great video
Haven’t been able to run the wide kit yet because all my bash spots are covered in deep snow. Looking forward to trying it.
Merry XMAXX to me.....Well maybe next year.
Greg if you remove the wheelie bar you install the rubber block to absorb shock......X-MAXX AWSOME.....
Got it! Knew the awesome viewers here would help a brother out.
For the guys that want the incredible X-maxx but just can't swing the thou$and dollar price tag..check out the Traxxas MAXX ! It is also an amazing monster, I have to say it is A LOT like the X-maxx in a more compact and affordable pkg!
rubber piece is extra you have one where your front bumper and chassis meet
Great video! Really digging the Xmaxx. How much run time do you get out of the two packs?
Ooh I thought this was review of a new one, like a v2 lol!
Amazing
