I'll give my 2 cents for every person that comes here to check out a review. I personally use the Keyboard for both Programing and Coding, it's still an absolutely great keyboard!
The dipswitches allowed me move the FN key all the way to the left, freeing up the three right buttons + shift to function as arrow keys. Works like a charm and made this board perfect for me.
Where you still able to use the shift button when you were typing or would it ONLY act as an UP ARROW? Im curious and I am looking at this keyboard and want to map my arrow keys to those bottom right keys but I still want functionality of my Shift key for typing.
@@cazzers7936 You lose the ability to use the right shift as a shift button. So you would have to get used to only using the left shift button. Up to you if you want to make that sacrifice. If I was in the market for a keyboard right now, I'd pick the ducky one 2 mini SF. It has arrow keys :)
@@Deafz I know the JKLI are arrow keys too but i mostly just use the left and right arrows for going back or forward in yt videos which I can just get use to the other keys. Sadly I only use the right shift key to type ahah, so its hard to sacrifice that. Thanks for the fast and detailed reply!
"that's when you know you're in trouble when you gotta take notes for a keyboard" lmaoo... that one really got me. Great review though man thank you, got my sub!
The reason the puller is like that, is because the "sharp" looking plastic ones destroy your keycaps by scraping and wearing them. But the wire ones prevent all of this
Just got my first 60% keyboard ever which is the year of the rat, which is essentially a one 2 mini with hot swap, and i am pretty happy with it so far, only key I am really missing from swapping to 60% is the delete key, which isnt really that big an issue, everything else for the most part like arrow keys I can easily fix by just changing some key bindings, (I play alot of pokemon on my pc which i have usually used arrow keys for). For anyone looking into the yotr for a daily driver just get a regular one 2 mini, its a collectors item which is the main reason i got it, but its my only 60% so when I need a smaller board I still use it, (never planning on reselling anyway so if it looses value doesnt matter much to me anyway.) Think they are pretty good for pre built keyboard, some modding with some lube can go along way, of course you cant do that one the switches on a regular one 2 mini without desodering though sadley.
I went out and bought a Ducky One 2 Mecha Mini. It is hard to get used to. But I love the compact nature and the keys and everything on it --- is amazing. My 1st 60% and I love it.
Look...I'm going around and trying to find ways to know or be notified when the ducky frozen llama comes back in stock. And I was thinking, I'm going to go the the techne because he is so consistent in answering questions from comments. So do u maybe have some tip for how I can know when the frozen llama comes back?
This video helped me when making my decision. So my little quick review. Got the mx blues, very loud, gonna change my switches for sure some day. Overall for gaming I like it, literally no issues, absolutely love the rgb and macro options. Small, compact, light weight, plays great. I love the multiple adjustments for height, good for long days gaming. Would never use for anything other than gaming though. I bought a Roccat mouse, and now I'm so in love with it I think i might get a Roccat board too...
I've only used TKL's and Full keyboards. I think I'm with you, that this isn't a "daily use" type of keyboard. Plus, Ducky boards have always been expensive and I just don't see the justification for their price tag.
I've been wanting to get a Ducky keyboard for years and I think I'm finally gonna do buy this one. Definitely one of the best companies out there and love the fact that you can change a bunch of stuff. Now I just need to decide between the 60% or TKL.

would you recommend ducky 12 mini or razer huntsman mini, was really looking for my first mechanical keyboards and don't know which one to choose, or is there something better.
I'm planning on getting it for the coming Christmas. I have been gaming on the Alienware Pro for 2 years now and it is wearing down. A lot of people are probably going to disagree with this but I think it is pretty good. It is not worth the $100 dollars you pay though. It really depends actually. If you are using it for gaming and work then it is worth the money. But just for gaming; it is definitely not. I wanted to replace it for gaming with the Razer Huntsman Mini, until I started watching reviews about it. Once I found your video about it I stopped wanting it. You recommended the Ducky Mecha Mini which I looked into. I saw that it did not have a white variant but the Ducky One Two Mini did. I watched your video about it and I now think I will buy it. Thank You!

Would this be good for people with smaller hands? Because I am switching from controller to keyboard and mouse and need to know if it would be good because my hands are pretty small
i dont think anything can be fortnite hype because no peripheral is specific to a game, for 99 bucks its a solid keyboard which is small to create more mousepad space in a competitive environment
GUYS I NEED HELP, MY DUCKY HAS BEEN WORKING FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS NOW AND YESTERDAY IT STOPPED WORKING, MY PS4 THINKS ITS A MOUSE AND IT DOESNT LIGHT UP AT ALL, I CONNECTED IT TO MY COMPUTER (MAC) TO UPDATE AND IT DOESNT LET ME BECUASE ITS NOT WINDOWS, HELP !!
But what if people don’t like white plus it’s kinda cool that you get random caps cause I got the purple and there pretty cool it’s kinda fun seeing what you get
I think the order of the button presses matters, so try alt + fn + T instead, or the other alt ctrl+j does something on firefox, fn+j should be left and ctrl+fn+h should move one word to the left but if i push fn first it's gonna be the same as ctrl+j which is a bit bothersome, but maybe it's necesary for some functions. gonna take a while to get used to this.
The Techne What? The model o is probably the best mouse for price/performance. Light weight, good build quality, top optical sensor, nice buttons and rgb for $50

The year of the pig space bar is etched in and transparent for lighting to bleed through and the caps are orange I have the same ones...
i dont think anything can be fortnite hype because no peripheral is specific to a game, for 99 bucks its a solid keyboard which is small to create more mousepad space in a competitive environment
come one, 90% ducky is all tfue. nothings wrong with that, heck he brought a good product to light.
@The Techne their is one keykap the a find gets it’s the long keykap with the up arrow it’s skinny and it needs stabs in so confused
I looking for a keyboard to buy I need help which one to pick dierya mechanical keyboard or the red dragon k552
both are very good, Id say the k552 is a better value. and better for daily and gaming use. ruclips.net/video/6o8vjYypCN8/видео.html
Yo techne what’s better ducky or gk61
ducky
The Techne any specific reasons
@@Japnoor315 the stabilizers , keycaps , case , switches , rgb
Do you know if the keyboard will have a delay if you don’t have the right pc ?
you should be fine on any pc
Only 50k!??!
You should have atleast a mil
thank you so much!
It is worth it, I recently received my ducky with extra key caps and a year of the pig space bar.
do you like it?
GUYS I NEED HELP, MY DUCKY HAS BEEN WORKING FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS NOW AND YESTERDAY IT STOPPED WORKING, MY PS4 THINKS ITS A MOUSE AND IT DOESNT LIGHT UP AT ALL, I CONNECTED IT TO MY COMPUTER (MAC) TO UPDATE AND IT DOESNT LET ME BECUASE ITS NOT WINDOWS, HELP !!
what if you remove the keyboard from your ps4, (not just the usb but from devices in the ps4 settings) they re sync it.
The Techne there is no setting to remove the keyboard
@@senortetas do you have controller synced first before the keyboard is plugged in?
You could buy the pure white version
ruclips.net/video/C7-T1K_LgtA/видео.html
But what if people don’t like white plus it’s kinda cool that you get random caps cause I got the purple and there pretty cool it’s kinda fun seeing what you get
heck no, I hate loot box's lol. okay it was kinda fun, but dang, pink!!!
Can you please make a detailed review on the Logitech g403 prodigy please
very old video so don't judge, lol!!! ruclips.net/video/QGZY-03C0WI/видео.html
Sometimes when I click FN + Alt + T it doesn’t change the color modes until I do it like 8 more times someone help me 😐
I think the order of the button presses matters, so try alt + fn + T instead, or the other alt
ctrl+j does something on firefox, fn+j should be left and ctrl+fn+h should move one word to the left but if i push fn first it's gonna be the same as ctrl+j which is a bit bothersome, but maybe it's necesary for some functions. gonna take a while to get used to this.
great review! I wish you could do a review on a leopold fc660m or fc750r vs the ducky and tell us what you think about it.
oh good call I almost like the look/layout of the Leopold better. now I have that on my radar for a future review. thank you for the great call out!!
ohhhh I wish it had some sort of rgb, like at least a solid color
The guy is so underated
thank you so much!
You are a great help for anyone new to pc's
Can you please the review ducky different mouses please?sorry.please understand.thank you
Should I buy the black one or the white one?
I love the black one. with the white bottom and black top, looks really good.
@@TheTechne I also will buy the glorious model o mouse. Should I buy the black to match or the white for a different effect?
@@leno4788 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO don't buy the model o!! you can get much better for the price if not less, ruclips.net/video/EjHBa_Nwe8s/видео.html
The Techne What? The model o is probably the best mouse for price/performance. Light weight, good build quality, top optical sensor, nice buttons and rgb for $50
@@Vem1x not the best mouse for 50$, the most hyped mouse for 50$ for sure.
Can you do the geek gk61 I heard that it’s a really good budget keyboard oh and awesome vid!!
will do, I have a few things intron, but I will!
Ok so I am getting a Dell D2719HGF monitor and it comes with a hdmi 2.0 port. I don't know what version of hdmi cables I have and does it matter what cable it is to get the max 144hz. Can anybody help me out?
just 1.4 or better. just plug it in and see if you can select it. most likely you have a 1.4 or better.
You’ve should’ve got the pure white you might’ve liked that one more it’s the newest version
I love the black/white look
Do I get speed switches or red switches in my ducky pls help
go red, it's a really nice combo. great sound, and great feel. one of my fav still
Ok
But if I want a fast switch should I get speeds?
@@swervi9037 yes, they have that short actuation point, it's nice for gaming but takes a bit to get use to
Ok thanks I’ll get reds and do an unboxing vid on my channel and plus the keys with stabilisers on the silver switch are very loud thanks for helping me best RUclipsr and very underrated to honestly u should have more. Thanks, sorry for wasting ur time
I like random keycaps thing but it couod be like green red blue white most popular ant orange purple pink and grey like rare ones :D
