Hello guys and gals, it's me Mutahar again! I Felt nostalgic for my youth when I first discovered how to navigate the Internet, back in the day numerous companies would produce stylized websites and game demos. These would be highly more "personal" than the advertising of today and I just wanted to go back and relieve that! Thanks for watching!

@@VikingTeddy Couldn't have been in '95, but it is possible you are remembering playing Payback on the Amiga, that was the first ever GTA clone. Never played the Amiga version myself, but have the GameBoy Advance port which is basically the same gameplay wise. Though even with the camera more zoomed in, the GBA version runs at like 13 FPS when things are calm, but explosions or using the helicopter can drop it down to like 2 FPS. Still amazing it works at all though: a 3D open world with physics engine, lighting, and partical effects on the GBA is crazy!

The actual struggle of watching Muta trying to run these old games on a modern PC hits home HARD.
There are specific games from Windows 98 era that are extremely difficult and some that have easy fixes from a quick PCWiki search. For me it was getting good old Need for Speed 2 Special Edition and 3 Hot Pursuit. Idk what changed between the 1997 and 1998 releases of those games, but my experience with getting 3 to run on my Windows 10 64 bit machine was 10 times easier than it was for 2. I even made a video on how to make those games run on "modern" machines a few years ago, but with NEWER OSes with their constant updates as well as 10's, who knows if my guides can work for *every* device. It's not a 100% guarantee
Edit: Windows 95 for NFS 2 SE because NFS 3 came out in the fall of 1998 after Windows 98's summer release. Duh I guess, but I think another detail, NFS 3 MIGHT be a 32 bit program? Whereas NFS 2 is definitely a 16 bit program whose errors I had to find workarounds for

You know, going back through these old GTA sites and then the older games. It made me consider a couple of things I missed in older GTA titles that GTAV doesn't have. And that is the little bit of silliness to the games. From either the ragdolling of GTAIV or just the spastic movement and animations of the PS2 era GTAs.

I remember searching the entire map looking for that golden tank-car with turret and blowing everything up with it.

One of my fondest gaming memories, the GTA2 demo. I found a mod that simply stops the explosion. I could play the demo, and the 1st city, to my heart's content.
The Pre-TOS days, what a time to he a inlive.

You should make a video on Tanktics, it was made by DMA design, same guys as GTA, and same time period, totally under rated RTS that not many people know about

Hi Mutahar, I say as though you'll actually read this, I liked the first four Police Academy movies, but when I watched them they were new and I was still a child. Possibly my being a child is why I liked them, since I liked Labyrinth as a child and had a completely opposite reaction as an adult watching it.

GTA 1 and 2 were my favorite games on the PS1. I played those games way more than I ever played the series once it went 3d, although I’ve played those a ton too, just used to be obsessed with GTA1. You don’t hear alot about them nowadays but the gameplay was solid and addictive.

I remember back when I was a kid and the PS2 version of GTA finally came out that I hounded my father for weeks until one day he brought me to the Superstore where he brought me to the game isle where GTA 3 was. Its still a great memory to think back on that he probably heard about some of the stuff you could do in the game and I guess he wanted to see it for himself.
