I don't agree with it, though I am a South Indian myself. Yes, there are industries and actors where acting is natural and there are others where the acting is over the top and unrealistic. In fact, Hindi movie actors are more realistic and talented when compared to the South. IMO, the main difference is that in the Hindi industry, people treat Cinema as a business, while people in the South treat Cinema as a job. That makes a lot of difference. Bollywood people should stop manipulating the audiences with their PR machineries and keep the focus on the movies rather than their personal lives. And lastly, sir Dunki movie is not a hit movie, it was a flop.

South movies do not necessarily give a more realistic experience. What they do is engage the viewer with a better storytelling experience and take the viewer on a fantasy trip. North industry simply doesn’t have the storytelling skills; neither is it comfortable with the fantasy genre. All the application of technology and modern equipment makes sense only if the basic storytelling is good. Especially in the fantasy genre, there is a basic understanding among the audience that they will have to suspend disbelief and be ready to be told, a fantasy. North industry simply doesn’t know how to do that, without cheaply mimicking some Hollywood movie. Poorly researched video. 👎
