It is only Bahubali that caught the attention, but Telugu cinema is known to bring such incredible spell-binding visuals w/ larger than life cinema since several decades. You have to go back past to see how Telugu movies progressed in delivering high standards visuals like Mayabazar (1957) ; Bhakta Prahlada (1967) ; Aditya 369 (1991); Bhairava Dweepam (1994); Ammoru (1995) ; Devi (1999) ; Anji (2004) which took 5 long years for completion ; Eega/Makkhi (2012) and many more. So it is inevitable that Telugu cinema takes the baton to raise Indian cinema to higher-standards.
Bro even we have many knowledgeable and wise directors with scientific vision but now sambars come and try 2 degrade telugus😢😂i dont know how dis much jelosy they have for their negbouring state i firmly beleive these urduwud and sambarwud jelosly is also helping telugus get theira talents out like hanuman ,kartikeya and many more small scale movies are getting hit

Telugu cinema has always been very rooted. Also Telugu industry made most films on Indian Puranas and Itihasas. Main point I think works is that Telugu ppl are very adaptable and accommodating, they are very respectful to everyone and their language. Also since Telugu ppl are frm Deccan region, they share borders with both North and South states making them more acknowledging to others. That reflects in their films and stories. If one observe, Telugu makers are the ones who always refer to their films as Indian films, the very reason Pan Indian film started.
Telugu people are known for adapting with new people, very accommodating, very hospitable, humble, helping, caring and once they love an artist they will be loyal throughout their lifetime. Entire Indian Cinema should do good, the barricades and divisions should dissolve and just become a single national entity making great cinema for both India and global audience.
Eveb today hyderabad is home to many northies and other southern states but i never heard any complain from any other states to speak in telugu they respect others choice even in theirs cities i guess also this could be a plus point to thrive in tollywood even without knowing telugu

True, in Blr, I see most Telugu ppl trying to speak Kannada than any other community.
Telugu industry is more successful because of passionate Film makers, risk taking producers, excellent infrastructure, film loving audience and One of the best professionally run industries also Telugu industry is more open hearted to give opportunities to other language industries actors and technicians..The remuneration also huge.. that's why even Telugu TV industry is dominated by other language actors mainly Kannada actors.. Some South industries Still trying to ban other language actors and technicians... Finally Telugu people r best in accepting other language Dubbed movies.. Hindi movies like Maine pyar Kiya and hum aapke Hain Kaun ran for more than 100 days in Telugu Dubbed version in Telugu States...
20 years in Telugu industry but few top heroines never speak r even tried learning only they say andarki (to all) namaskaram nd Rakul learnt in very first year really need to appreciate her hard work but industry does not recognise her, she is beautiful than many heroines wit good height nd personality.. i wish her she shine again only 1 block buster she needs now for come back

I think one of the reasons that the Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada and to some extent Tamil films are so much better than Bollywood films is the high degree of professionalism of the southern stars. I mean by comparison most bollywood stars e.g. Khans, Kapoors, Akshay Kumar, and pretty much all big names think themselves bigger than the director and the crew and mishandle them, which is not so common with the southern stars. This attitude difference even shows in their interviews and in their interactions with fans.
Telugu film industry is very versatile as i born and bought up over there after that i came here in Mumbai and watching those South movies in hindi now but, trust me from the past so many years i have been watching in telugu only and the fact is original one is always on top notch but, in hindi it's depend on dubbing artist like i like voices of pushpa & kgf 🔥

Suddenly no industry gives a trend setter movie like Baahubali out of the blue. That kind of culture is there in Telugu movie industry even from the beginning. Decades back. Peak time was when "Maya bazar" movie made Its still top 100 list of India's best movies. If you release it in theatres again, people still flock to theatres. FYI. That same actor(SV.Rangarao's another movie got Jakartha Internation Film Festival award for "NarthanSaala" movie. Then NTR, KanthaRao and others continued the mythological and folklore trend. Not like Stupid Tamil and Bollywood industry where showing Hindu gods is also a sin There was no hit movie made on Hindu deities in last 25years. But here in Telugu Even if you release a devotional movie now, star heroes ready to perform the devotee's role and people will flock as a big event. That's how we love our Gods and who portray them. Thanks to Garikapati and Chaganti and lot of others do excellent pravachanas and attract young generations as well. We are the first one's to use Graphics in movies excellently and we are the masters of drama. No one can beat us. We are the only ones who can compete with Hollywood from India. We know what we are and our strength. What I told was just a tip of an Iceberg of Telugu movie industry. Ofcourse there were crap movies too... But we are the ones who can make movies of Cowboys also make Industry hits. Refer to Chiru's Kodamasimham and Mahesh's Takkari donga and Old hero Krishna's cowboy movie hits which got dubbed in Hollywood as well that time.
This is the way you spread language and culture without forcing anyone
