Update yourself. EVs are now start from 4500$. You heard it right. When you start from 23k$. That's no good. This is 2023, era of EVs start here. No one buys a 23k EV now

90 miles in a single charge is NOT a standout feature, that’s one of the worst if not the worst range of any electric car or car in general

EV credit doesn’t mean automatic discount, it’s a tax return if you qualify for it people don’t just get that credit. You should just list the actual price!

For me price and range are the 2 most important features for an EV. Unfortunately the WLTP range specs provided by manufacturers is usually way over the mark. Actual range tests show a realistic range which is usually 10 - 20% less than the WLTP range spec provided by the manufacturer. I haven't yet seen any reliable range tests which resulted in a higher range than the WLTP spec! And as for price - in the Netherlands you can't order a Hyundai ev for an agreed price. You have to order the vehicle, wait several months for delivery and then finally pay a price which is unilaterally determined by the supplier on delivery of the car!

I feel your title is misleading in true price aspects. Dealers alwats add many markup and various fees. So 50K is much reasonable in 2023. Still it is a good EV video.

Most of these cars are way over MSRP. Dealer Markups are hurting the everyday consumer.

It moves so fast……sometimes, its like riding in a roller coaster! I have gone on one road trip…….no problem…..as Tesla chargers are EVERYWHERE!!! & they all work! Good luck finding many of these cars in those price ranges in the US…except the volt….

The video says the Ionic 5 ‘0-60 mph’ acceleration speed is “around 9 seconds” but I looked it up and it is suppose to be 7.4 seconds.

I'll consider buying an ev when they're under $20k, charge in <5 mins, go at least 300 mi between charges and replacement batteries cost < $200. Until then, I'll use my ice cars until they die.
