    90 miles in a single charge is NOT a standout feature, that’s one of the worst if not the worst range of any electric car or car in general

  • @gijbuis
    @gijbuis Год назад +7

    For me price and range are the 2 most important features for an EV. Unfortunately the WLTP range specs provided by manufacturers is usually way over the mark. Actual range tests show a realistic range which is usually 10 - 20% less than the WLTP range spec provided by the manufacturer. I haven't yet seen any reliable range tests which resulted in a higher range than the WLTP spec! And as for price - in the Netherlands you can't order a Hyundai ev for an agreed price. You have to order the vehicle, wait several months for delivery and then finally pay a price which is unilaterally determined by the supplier on delivery of the car!

    • @denysarcuri1213
      @denysarcuri1213 Год назад

      I agree with your assessment on price, but range is WAY overrated. If you comment on this, I'll elaborate.

    EV credit doesn’t mean automatic discount, it’s a tax return if you qualify for it people don’t just get that credit. You should just list the actual price!

    The charging times are deceiving. While its accurate to full charge, typically charging up to 75% is relatively fast, its the last bit to fully charge the battery that takes hours. I'd like to see some experiences traveling long distances that require charges. Does it make more sense to stop for a 20-30mins charge to get another 100miles before continuing onward?

    • @LostClaw
      @LostClaw 4 месяца назад

      They electronically limit it after 75% because charging that fast over that percentage damages the battery over time. So they have to take it slow.

    I want to inform you that cars don't have to be electric to be 100% green, cars can use a type of fuel called "hemp fuel" which is 100% green, it is revolutionary and Henry Ford made a car that could run 100% on hemp fuel, but of course there is a reason why it hasn't become normalised. By the way, electric cars are about control, they want you to be dependent, controlled and weak. Please study hemp fuel for a couple of minutes and tell your friends and family about it, sharing this info also helps. Cannabis or hemp is the miracle plant, which can be turned into paper, ropes, clothes, cotton, insulation, concrete, wood, fuel, a plastic like material, and it can replace normal fuel, plastics and a lot of other materials, it can be used as a medicine, but also as a drug, it is said that cannabis has over 25 000 uses. .

Our dealerships solution, @Colonial_Hyundai, was to swap a brand new car (same make, model and color) for more money a month. But, the new Kona EV has the same exact defect! The Volkswagen Beetle, also known as the VW Bug, was first built in the late 1930s. The initial development of the Beetle started in the mid-1930s under the direction of Ferdinand Porsche. The car was designed to be affordable, practical, and reliable for the average German citizen. The first production models of the Beetle rolled off the assembly line in Germany in 1938. However, due to the outbreak of World War II, production was halted, and the Beetle was primarily used for military purposes during the war. After the war ended, production resumed, and the Beetle became popular worldwide, eventually becoming one of the most iconic and recognizable cars in history. South America was still producing the "Bug" long after the United States no longer had it.

On top of this all the insurance for these vehicles is estimated as approx double to that of comparable combustion engine vehicles. Put these vehicles where the sun doesn't shine.
