@ don’t use a harbor freight tester what ever you do and I made that mistake used a tested made for cars and I didn’t realize it making my bike read very low
it’s not harbor freight but it is a cheap eBay one which I’ve always had it read low with anything kick start lol. E start fine but not kick start. Can’t crank it fast enough I think it is
It’s got the compression (I can hear it) so just make sure it’s flowing fuel good out the fuel valve and to the carbs. I still believe it’s spark related
All that china electronics will never run correctly replace it whit oem original Yamaha cdi/stator and a good stock healthy engine got 120/125psi each cylinder
Yeah you’re right I have been having issues with this setup for sure. If it were mine it wouldn’t have it. Iam however going to put the oem harness back in and possibly try repairing the original stator. Someone cut the wires super short before I ever got my hands on it
I would absolutely check compression , if he decides to sell I’d love a 92 !
He’s owned it since he was 11. Never getting rid of it lol. But yeah compression read low. Hoping just crappy tester but we will dig in more soon

Open the carb bowl drains to make sure it’s got fuel.
Ok will do

I have no reason to believe it wouldn’t have the compression. I can’t rely on my cheap compression tester
Check and make sure to unplug the throttle tors
Yeah they are unplugged thanks

Yeah I did do that. Thank you man
