Wow! My hair is exactly the same texture as yours. I have such a hard time with it. My grey is exactly as yours is also. I’m so glad I found someone who has the same hair texture. I call it 4d. I know there is no such thing but that’s what I feel like.

I used the long lux shampoo and conditioner. Immediately felt the difference. Hair just felt light. The hair shop didnt have the other products in the line. So i just used gel and defining creme and did a two strand twist and bantu. And i love it. First day i went outside with my grey. Getting my confidence

Have you tried the long tonged metal pick yet? You can oil the tongs and even put a conditioning hairspray to hold and control the lift without frizzing and tangling.
Hey JJMua, I had that kind of hair day Sunday, i just let it roll, went out and got a lot of compliments. Lol. The puffiness was Ugh! As always puffiness frizz and all you still look Fab girl. This will be the 1st winter of my transition and i,ll Have To try something New in my hair regiment. I do use the Eco Gel, love the fact that it leaves no residue. I do love the Coconut oil pre wash step. But changing up is good. Going to try the silk pillow case or bonnet i,m thinking with your twists in the cap should be able to fit. I said Ava not showing her wine of choice and You showed the best drink ever, WATER. Alright Ava see you in the next vlog,I pray you had a fabulous labor day. I love the list , except the Melanin elongated hair creme. I had a lot of flaking with that product, but the oil is good. I am going to try the Pure Oil products.
the melanin hair cream has to be used by itself it has so many pure butters easy to flake with other products if use it by itself you will be good and honestly with all the heavy ingredients don't need nothing else.
@@honey7808 I tried various different ways. I have low porosity gray and colored hair. My hair doesn't like it. I used 3 jars and it still flakes in my hair. so I moved on to TGIN, Miche Beauty and Soultanicals. Different strokes for different folks.
Donnetta Daniels gotcha and that is soooo true I have high porosity is why it behaved differently but for some reason Miche and Tgin seems to be more universal rather low or hi porosity very interesting

delise williams 🤔... hey Delise! I can’t say I have, but my greys don’t have a defined pattern. Yes I experience shrinkage, but there is no curl or definition to my grey. But my hair has so many different curl patterns it’s hard to categorize me as “a” particular pattern😂. Maybe with the big chop, you can get a handle on it as it grows back uniform.
Agreed on the melanin oil. I also use it on my body. One day I used it, passed by my son and he said I smelled great and asked what it was. You really do not need anything else on your skin when you use the oil.

Yvette Odom hey Yvette! Try a shampoo and conditioner that is developed specifically for grey hair. That is usually a product that’s violet in color( violet/purple cancel out yellow). See if that works for you
Maison_276 have a product line specifically for gray hair. Its pretty good, very hydrating and its white, no purple products. You may want to use a clarifying shampoo to remove the yellowing. I try to always use products that are only white on my hair to keep it from yellowing

Red is very universal and natural gray is pretty but can be difficult to embrace either way you can't loose nothing wrong with wearing other colors..

Avoid any oils and products with coloring, it will yellow your grey. Like dark gels or yellow oils.
