- The modern NBA is built on 2 things - player movement, and content… the league wants us as fans to be constantly anticipating and talking about the next big move BUT… what about those moves that ALMOST happened, but didn’t? Those secret behind the scenes trades whose details only come out YEARS later… what happened to THOSE trades?

The Cavs almost acquired Jimmy Butler as well
Tucker, you’ve been on a crazy roll lately
Keep up the great content man
According to some reports, there were talks of a big four team deal that would've sent Garnett to Phoenix, Marion to Boston, Amare Stoudemire to Atlanta, and the 5th pick to the Wolves. But among other things that killed the deal, Marion, wouldn't commit to a long term deal in Boston, Ainge wasn't willing to move Al Jefferson unless he was the one getting Garnett, and Minnesota demanded the 3rd and 11th pick from Atlanta if they wanted to participate in the deal.
That would've been an insane deal had that gone through.
Man, I honestly can't wait till the next upload, you're the best basketball channel when it comes to facts, and just straight up entertaining history.
Keep up the great work man! You're videos are all bangers!
10:40 only a borderline dynasty? 😅😅😅
Tucker, this is the best content you’ve put out in months. Would love to see more like this! Great work 👍
Kevin Love was a great rebounder and interior scorer, a good 3pt shooter, and an underrated passer. I think he could have been great for GSW. And he would have had a better career, I think. Those Warriors would have won at least 1 chip to match the one he won in Cleveland, and he wouldn't have had to sacrifice his game as much.
Very true
Losing Dray defensive impact and klay two way play wouldn’t have made them a dynasty. Love to the warriors would’ve won some championships but if Jerry West knew that
If Kobe didn't vetoed the trade, there is a possibility that he would be still alive. Crazy to think about it.
how so?
@@bradperrotte2027 his life would've been on a different trajectory if he was living in a different city, even if only for a short period of time
That makes no sense😂
He could’ve died being in Detroit u never know
everybody goes someday brotha. he had a bigger impact staying in LA

If only Garnett had been less interested in playing with Stoudemire, the Suns could have traded Stoudemire instead of Marion. I actually like a trio of Nash, KG, and Marion more than the same trio with Amar'e instead of Marion. KG could have done a lot of the same things Stoudemire did, only with much better defense. Marion slots in perfectly as a role player beside them. When you have Nash, you're gonna score. What that team needed is a dominant defender like KG. Marion + KG could have made even a Nash-led team coached by D'Antoni good enough defensively. I also imagine Stoudemire would have been more attractive to the Wolves than Marion.
This dude just makes up trades and Is like "hey, here's this secret trade that didn't happen, noone knows about it bc it's so secret so don't bother asking around"
Lmao
Golden State also tried trading Klay Thompson away twice. Once to try to get James Harden from OKC and again later when they tried signing Kevin Love. They really didn’t want those Splash Brothers 😂
I love Klay but james harden and Steph backcourt is pretty scary…..
@@devanopakpahan Harden at the 1 and Steph at the 2 would be outrageous 🤯
Hey how are ya? Wonderful weather we're having.
I don't care 🤷 what type of you steph curry go now 🎉
its really interesting thinking about kobe in detroit given how down bad the pistons have been, but they were a top tier franchise before the late 2000s
Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. God bless! Jesus is the way and saves! Psalms 62✝🤍
I feel like people don't talk about the fact that in 2015 people were questioning if trading Wiggins for love was the right move only for 7 years later the Warriors to win with Wiggins as arguably the second best player on the team
Like Bill Simmons was convinced LeBron's impatience was gonna be a mistake, just for Wiggins to suck in Minnesota, but then be the number 2 to arguably LeBron's biggest rival
Now looks like Wiggins is back to being a bum...
why are the scoreboards censored?
for your own safety
I’m sure it’s a copyright thing, maybe so they can’t determine which channel / entity / franchise the content’s from?
Probably copyright.
Obscuring copyrighted content tends to help it evade the copyright bot.
I asked the same thing it doesn’t make sense there’s dozens of other RUclips channels that post highlights with no censorship
