Synopsis: The 100 Years Quest: a mission so challenging and hazardous that it has remained unaccomplished for over a century. While countless mages have attempted to take on this grueling objective, their results ended in either overwhelming defeat or worse. Nonetheless, Natsu Dragneel and his friends-Lucy Heartfilia, Gray Fullbuster, Erza Scarlet, and Wendy Marvell, along with the exceeds Happy and Charlés-ambitiously embark on the quest. A year after the Fairy Tail guild has overcome the diabolical forces of Acnologia and Zeref, Natsu and his team trek into the northern continent of Guiltina, where they seek out the employer of the 100 Years Quest and receive their nearly impossible mission: to seal away the Five Dragon Gods-a group of individuals with such vast power that, if left alone, could cause global devastation. Meanwhile, a spirited new member named Touka is recruited to Fairy Tail. Although her vibrant energy and passionate nature makes her perfect for the guild, there seems to be more to her than meets the eye.

it’s nice to know that i’m not the only one who noticed the slight difference of the animation, color, and how the character look the moment I saw the 1st episode. But despite that, it’s really nostalgic and amazing that they tend to keep the classic comedy and goofiness tho.

The only part that concerns me is that it gets really bloody at some moments but this artstyle looks friendly asl. This reminds me of my hero a lot for that reason.
Apart from that they DELIVERED with the animation and artwork.

FT100YQ is a potential S-tier (the current manga is not over yet, but so far I enjoyed a lot 😁✌), in my top 5 favourite Ft arcs so far 😍💖🔥

👆 we are so back! This episode was like a reunion with family. I never thought I would hear another "Gee Hee!" From Gajeel again. I think the animation was fine. Im glad theres finally some color back in Fairy Tail but it still wont top the 2009 arstyle for me. I cant even begin to describe the feeling i got from hearing the main Fairy Tail ost after so long. I just can't wait to see Erza with Haki lol

I look forward for this series. I liked Fairy Tail ZERO as a presessor a lot, so hopefully this successor will be hopefully at least as engaging as the other Fairy Tail series. The animation looks good enough imo.

The art style is similar to the edens zero anime art style but I love it its my favorite style for mashima art already

Glad to have the show back, if it's indeed 25 episodes then no spoilers but the 2nd half will be fire! I like the animation style, it's different but I got into it right away, still on the fence about the opening song, I will need to listen to it few more times.

I don't hate the new artstyle, but it looks like a downgrade and even the first season will only have 25 episode. It was announced back 2019. and with this cheaper looking artstyle it will be the shortest season. After 175, 102 and 51 episode long seasons, it could be a full adaptation of 100 year quest with 50+episodes. It just disappointing.
